This is a Sheraton giltwood mirror that I am selling.It is not marked but I believe it is by James Todd of Portland Maine and dates to 1830. It measures 34 3/4" high and is 16 3/4" wide. It has and overhanging cornice. Turned pillars and the cornice is decorated with balls. It has had restoration and some repainting before I got it. The center carved wooden piece does have some breakage which shows in the picture. It is a great mirror at my price.Any questions-please ask before bidding! Finish is original measures approximately 47 x 25 x 3 1/2 inches and weighs 27 pounds The glass is what's referred to as a flat french mirror- not beveled glass is held in by the 45 degree cut small fluted wood framing in front and quarter sawn oak piece in back held by nails( most look original) the nails are not the square head form as a machine porocess had been invented by the 1880's that made round head nails The mirror itself measures about 30 x 18 inches The wood I believe is mahogany. Antique Victorian Eastlake Mirror Hall Entry Wall 26 3/4" X 17"
Up for your consideration is an antique Victorian style Eastlake entry hall mirror measuring 26 3/4" tall x 17" wide. Beautiful light colored engraved accents around mirror as usual on Eastland pieces. It is marked on the back 13 x22 in black. I don't know what this means. It has the antique wood patina as you can see and tiny flat head nails. As you can see there is some wear to wood color and a crack on the right side going down and there is some silver loss on the bottom. The wood can be easily stained and wood split re-glued as the crack is very thin. Other than what I have mentioned. I find nothing else wrong. If nice a original period piece. Antique Vintage Italian Florentine Large Oval Gilded Carved Wood Frame 4 Mirror
Vintage gilded Italian Florentine frame in a large oval shape with carved border within a pierced and carved scrolling foliate frame. The frame looks like it was made to hold a mirror but we are selling it in its as found condition without a mirror. It can also hold a painting if this is how the new owner would like to use it. The way it was hanging originally is with the larger side in a horizontal position like seen in our first picture. This could change however. If one wishes to hang it vertically. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN ORNATE BRONZE CHERUB VANITY MIRROR 13 1/2" X 12" X 2 3/4"
Offered for your consideration is this beautiful ornate bronze mirror. I believe it is bronze since my magnet does not stick to it. Although my magnet is not the strongest. It does stick to the screws on back but not to any other part on the mirror in the slightest bit at all. I know brass is slightly magnetic and bronze is not(based on what I read on line) This measures 13 1/2" high X 12" wide X 2 3/4" deep. The width is measured including the knobs on the side that screw on and off. This is a gorgeous mirror that can compliment many styles such as art nouveau, victorian, shabby chic. the list goes on. When I ship I will be taking the knobs off so I can fit it in a large flat rate box. They will screw back in, but be forwarned, that you have to spin them a little until they line up correctly. They will screw in once you find ... morethe spot. One screws in a little further than the other. I just don't want them damaged in the shipping. I've compared some of the mirrors on line. This one seems a little bigger. The screws on back are standard flat screws rather than phillips head which is an older type screw. As stated in the condition description. I believe the back has been replaced. I do not think the back is the original. I really think this is an older one. Look at the pics up close. As stated in the condition description I have not cleaned this, because I am uncertain what would be considered patina and desirable to the collector. I will leave cleaning up to the buyer. Vintage Bedo 900 Mirror Floral 10" wide 7 1/4" tall
Up for your consideration is a vintage mirror with the marking BEDO 900 on the back. The mirror width frame. Widest points measures 10" The actual mirror width is 8" The tallest height of the mirror frame is 7 1/4" The actual mirror height is 5 5/8" It does have about a 10" chain attached to it, when hanging there is a space between the chain and mirror(highest point of frame) being 2 3/4" The mirror is in overall good condition with a few very small specs. The frame is in good condition as well but does show light wear from use. The wear is around the edges and rims. Please look at all the photo's to get your opinion on the condition of this mirror. Vintage Gold Gilt Gesso Wood 11 3/4" X 9 1/2" Wall Mirror
This is a vintage gold gilt wood wall mirror. Recently purchased at an estate sale. I am unsure of it's age. The corners are chipped a bit leading me to believe it is gesso. This can be seen in the pictures. Also there is a spot of glue residue on the mirror itself that will need to be removed. The mirror measures 11 3/4" X 9 1/2" and there is a sturdy wire for hanging. They tell me it is"Of the Period" And that it is a Federal Mirror that was taken off of a Northwestern Massachusetts Federal Period house's wall. I would say it is, looking at the form, construction, and dark color on the reverse side, a period ... moreFederal mirror, ca.1820-30. Its design matches other mirrors I found in my research. That being said, please make sure you study the pictures to judge this for yourself. Note the medallions on top are leaf-like and the ones on the bottom are sunbursts with faces in the middle. Overall size: 24-1/4" wide x 37-1/4" high x 4" deep overall The gold gilt finish is crackled and has some small chips to it in most places. Aside from that. There is some loss to the gesso molding on the lower left as shown. The mirrors are older, but I think are newer than the frame. They have some minor silvering loss, mostly to the lower mirror, so I would guess perhaps 80-100 years old, give or take. Looking at the back, the old age is obvious, given the very dark color. I can see layers of evidence that this mirror was worked on over the years, including some newer nails used to keep the back boards in place. The oldest nails are very old. The panels are loose in the frame somewhat, in that they want to slide down. I think this is due to a missing bottom board on the frame(obvious in the pictures) I could add a board or simply add fasteners to secure it, but I really think I should le

Fresh from the local estate of an elderly Italian woman is this STUNNING very rare Antique late 19th Century Etched and beveled Venetian Glass Mirror- probably Murano Glass. It is breathtaking in person. It has etchings of flowers and is beveled. It is large at 4 feet tall- the exact measurements are 50" tall and 30" wide. It is etched with pretty flowers. It has hand blown rosettes and pedals and is Hand constructed I am sure. Amazingly there are only 2 pedals missing(on the sides) and one thin side glass bar was reglued- other than that it is in entirely original wonderful condition with minor showing of age.
