Early 20th C Ornate Brass Beveled Vanity Wall Mirror & Towel Rod Holder 9" x 14"
Item No. 7911 WE DEEM THIS ONE OF OUR FAVORITE ITEMS FOR STYLE AND VALUE. THIS IS AN OLD. PREVIOUSLY-OWNED ITEM. as such, it has wear from use and age, primarily oxidation to the metal including some darkening, some original finish losses like protective coatings, and some verdigris(primarily on the ends, but scattered throughout- please examine the photos for the scattered green) a little wood loss to the backing. Early 20th Century ORNATE OPENWORK BRASS WALL MIRROR with TOWEL ROD. Or towel holder. The pattern on this heavy piece is just lovely- consisting of acanthus leaves in several different patterns, hanging, twising, scrolling, wrapping- and a few grapes, other leaves with tiny berries, roped acanthus leaves around the mirror, with a center apex stylized to resemble a crown and shield. The oval mirror has a wide, smooth bevel and is ... morein good shape with a little darkening, but no apparent silvering losses. We find no marks, but suggest the piece might be French in origin. This was hung by screws utilizing the two holes for that purpose in the lower portion. And one screw on either side of the top center shield area. It was quite secure. You might also have your local framer attach a hanging wire to the back for a more simple method of hanging. About 9" tall at the center. 2" tall on the rod sides, 14" widest, mirror is 8-1/4" x 4-1/2" and the width of the mirror extends to 11-1/4" at the decorative posts on the sides. The inside length of the rod is about 13-1/2" and the distance from the inside back of the piece to the inside edge of the rod is about 1-1/8" A useful and very attractive accessory for the powder room. Antique Vintage Mirror Round Corners Signed on Back 14.5 by 18.5" Painted Wood
This old mirror came from an auction in Vermont. The glass doesn't appear old. But the frame does. The mirror measures 18 1/2" high and 14 1/2" wide. It has some dings, some scratches and some wear. I am not sure if the gold trim has been touched up or if this was the way it was originally. The mirror is loose at the top, it could use two more nails to hold it secure. The top back is signed Mrs. Goodwell maybe, it's hard to make out.

Up for auction a Old. Antique, Decorative, Oval Shaped, Wood Frame, Mirror/ Picture Frame. Measurers 14 1/8 inches by 12 1/8 inches and the frame is a pp. 2 3/8 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches at the thickest. Beaded with 4 nice decorative pieces all look to be wood. No plaster. Looks to be pretty old from the 1800`s. Looks to have the Original greenish paint/ whitewash finish. But I cannot be sure. Has some chips and cracks in places. see pictures) still very solid. Mirror is intact with no breaks or cracks. Found in an old farmhouse in Maine. It is in need of a cleaning but has great Patina in its present condition. You can`t find a frame with Patina like this in a store.

Antique 14 1/2" Round Wall or Vanity Mirror with Fleur-de-Lis Design
This antique round wall/vanity mirror is about 100 years old. The original paper backing and all clips and hangers are original. This mirror measures 14 1/2" around and has what I can only describe as a"fleur-de-lis" pattern running across the top through the glass. It's impossible to tell if that design is etched or is some kind of old art/paint/gilt still clinging to the glass surface. This mirror does not photograph well. But you can make out the design in one of the attached photos- please view them carefully. The design is much more noticeable in actuality. This old mirror has a distressed patina, some wear spots, and an overall cloudiness in the glass. It's old- but still beautiful for all that. The round edge of this old mirror has the most signs of wear. Amazingly, it has no cracks or chips, or dings- it does ... morehave a slight bubble in one spot near the edge but it's very small. It is thick, at least 1" high when laying flat. The mirror itself is in very good condition with no loss of silvering. The frame has a small crack or repair line on one of the pieces of the outer design. One of the tips of is also missing or worn off of another. It has some age related wear. This is a nice old piece and has“Zippers” that is what some glass workers call them) all around the edge, as can be seen in the third picture, just below the reflection of the light. Here is a gorgeous antique Victorian dresser mirror. Made of a heavy metal and coated with a brass finish. It measures 14 x 16 1/2 ins. is marked with the initials JB& IW and the model number 2002 at the back top. The mirror is in good vintage condition, no breaks, missing only one holding screw on the mirror, and has some mild age darkening marks in the bottom left side of mirror. You can see it has cherubs/angels and putti on the surround, and the typical elaborate decorations common with the Victorian late 1800s time period. This mirror has its original backing and stand still. It is the largest size of this mirror. It was made in about 3 sizes I believe. Perfect for Victorian. Rococo, Edwardian and Romantic decors. This is an older display plateau mirror of excellent quality. It is large. About 16" wide for the frame with feet and 14" mirror on top and a nice high 2 1/2" tall. It stands on 4 feet and the embossed metal frame is so ornate with roess and a fabulous design. It is a very nice gold time worn aged patina with some discoloration. The mirror itself is beveled. And I estimate that it’s probably from either the late 1800s or early 1900s. This antique(pre-owned) mirror has a wooden frame and wood backing. It looks like the wooden frame was coated with a plaster-like material and then painted black and brown/beige as shown in the pictures. The side of the frame farthest from the mirror is painted black. Then the flat area at the front is painted a beige/brown mottled combination, then a thin strip just inside that is black followed by a brown strip right next to the mirror.
