Please excuse flash on photos. See all specifics below. SPECIFICATIONS: Maker/Item/Pattern# Unknown Information: This is a vintage mirror that is round and measures 10" wide. It is in place on a backing with small feet. A total of 6 feet in all. The mirror has small black flecks. Discoloration in places and some scuffs. It appears to me to be a replacement piece of glass/mirror for a victorian plateau perhaps. Nice beveled edge. Please see pictures. Antique Plateau Footed Display Mirror, 10" - Chrome
This is an antique plateau which was originally silver plated but very tarnished. It is now chromed so no polishing is needed. It is four footed and 10" in diameter with the original beveled mirror. There are two small dents as pictured in the third picture and there is slight scuffing around the foot on one side as shown in the last picture.

The mirror measures roughly 10" across and is about 1.5" tall. The feet appear to be more of a metal. While the decorative rim appears to be like brass. I have polished the brass and as you can see, it is in good condition. The feet do not polish. The backing and mirror are original. There are stains on the backing and spots in the glass that are difficult to photograph but I feel that photo three shows the worst of it.

ANTIQUE EDGED BORDER MIRROR IN ORNATE WOOD FRAME 10 by 19 in
Today we have a nice and very old antique mirror in a carved wood frame. The mirror measures 10.5 by 19.25 inches. This includes the frame. The mirror has a lined border that must have been etched in from the back as you cannot feel the indentions. There is some finish loss to the mirror up in one corner a few other very small dots elsewhere. This gives it such a true shabby cottage type look. The frame is carved and has a top piece and a bottom piece that are a part of the complete frame. Not nailed in place like many other antique mirrors. This means that they won't be falling off. The frame does have some nicks and finish loss as is expected with a piece this old. This still has it's original backing though it does show some water damage. This has two newer looking wires attached on the back so this baby is ready to hang in thqt ... morespecial place in your home or office. This is a Vintage Italian Venetian Murana Glass Mirror.If you look carefully you will air bubbles in the scrolls. This mirror is made of thick glass. 10" tall x 9" wide. The wood is 1/2" thick. One Rosette is missing. Upper left hand side. I have added faceted glass and flat beads to blend in. See picture#4. It blends in and it looks very nice.It's a free standing mirror or can be hung on the wall. Has a hook on the back. The mirror has scrolls of clear Murano glass with glass beads and 3 large glass textured rosettes. Mounted on 1/2" thick wood with a easel back stand. Glass is clear. Afterwards, it remained in the private collection of an antiquities dealer for the next 27 years. It has been attributed to have previously been in the presence of such presidents including: Eisenhower. FDR, and yes, Nixon. The mirror alone stands at 113" and its Italian marble top bench adds another 14" of length for a total height of 10 ft. 7 in. and 40" wide. Ornate carving and detail in an antique white finish, with hints of possible gilding underneath, as remnants of gold come through. Vintage Scalloped Beveled Glass Mirror - Picture frame - 14 x 12 & 12 x 10
This auction is for a vintage scalloped beveled mirror or picture frame. The scalloped mirror measures 14" x 12" and there is a clear scalloped beveled glass that goes on top. It measures 12" x 10" The two pieces of glass are held together with the flower shaped pieces. A bolt and nut. This is nice heavy glass, together they weigh almost 6 pounds. I replaced the rusty wire, nuts and bolts. If you decide to use it as a picture frame a 10 x 8 photo works well. I found this at an estate sale and there was an old photo under the clear glass. It makes a very striking picture frame. The mirror really adds an elegant look to a photo. This is an old piece and there is some loss of silvering. Some of the edges are chipped but with the scalloped edges they are hard to see. This would look great as a mirror or a picture frame. You ... morecould even put a nice card or print in it. You never see these pieces anymore. Just too much labor to make. The frame is prettier than the photos show. I just don't know a good way to photograph a mirror. Antique Miniature Chippendale Mirror Looking Glass Early 19th c. 10.5" x 5.75"
Antique Chippendale miniature or apprentice mirror or looking glass in beautiful original finish. The mirror was hand made. You can see the saw marks and slight variations in the cuts and flourishes. I'm not sure if the mirror and backing are original, I didn't want to remove the backing given that it would entail removing 10"dome" top brads and wasn't sure I could remove and replace without doing harm. If the glass is replaced then it was done a long time ago. I don't see any evidence of a label leading me to believe that it is early and possible small shop or one of a kind. I purchased the mirror from an estate in Montclair. NJ almost 20 years ago. I found the mirror in a leather top hat box that was very early and tucked deep into an attic corner eaves.
