Greetings! For your consideration: A RARE ANTIQUE c1820s MAHOGANY& PINE 32"x24" LARGE DETAILED PERIOD MIRROR! A wonderful late 1800s? mirror in Good condition. Gorgeous what is believed to be Mahogany heavy wood frame with a beautiful raw large plank Pine board back. The front wood is bright and vibrant and free of any noticeable chips or large scuffs; the only cosmetic issues being some very faint white paint splatter to the top and the occasional blemish as well as a boar hole along the top center(this looks original. Perhaps there was a design that came off of the top? It boasts an elegant detailed pattern around the entire boarder; the glass is in great shape and freshly cleaned! The back consists of two large pine planks and one smaller one; the planks are nearly a 1/2" thick and boast a raw circular cut pattern! This ... moreseems to be a quality mirror! It is in brilliant shape for its age and measure 32 1/2 inches x 24 1/2 inches(the mirrored glass measuring 29" x 20 3/4" Overall. A beautiful example of an early American Georgian mirror! From what I can gather, it was probably circa, late 1800s. It was easy to transport, with it's chain and small size, yet simple and quick to set up. It could be hung on a wall with it's chain or set on a vanity table or dresser. The mirrors are in very nice condition. The width of the entire piece opened up.
