This is a gorgeous old Victorian tilting mirror in a larger size. 19” tall, 12” wide. The frame on this is all flowers and Acanthus leaves with a large ornate foot. The metal has an aged patina and the back has an old time worn and stained cover. There are no chips or cracks to the mirror but it is starting to freckle and shows age. This displays beautifully and would be an asset to any Victorian room. The items that I sell are the items I love. Great antique victorian ornate cast iron beveled glass mirror
Beautiful ornate scrolled victorian cast iron mirror with beveled glass. With darkened gold color. Stands about 13 inches tall by about 9 inches wide. Has a beautiful scrolled easel stand. The back of the mirror has a metal plate that is held on with four swivel bars- the bottom one is stuck in the open position down inbetween the frame and the back- I did not attempt to move it. Stamped on the top back I think with the number 1040- hard to read, for a makers mark. Only flaw is a chip on the mirror on the lower left bevel, which doesn't affect the clarity of the mirror, which has some light surface scratches due to age and wear, and I see only a little discoloration/silver loss on the lower right beveled edge, and some tiny spots here and there. Really pretty example of an old victorian mirror in nice shape for its age, with fancy easel ... morestand. Please ask any other questions. It measures 16 1/4" x 22 3/4" It has a pretty art nouveau design. There is a sturdy w ire on the back for hanging. The frame might have been repainted at some time. I can't say for sure. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN ORNATE BRONZE CHERUB VANITY MIRROR 13 1/2" X 12" X 2 3/4"
Offered for your consideration is this beautiful ornate bronze mirror. I believe it is bronze since my magnet does not stick to it. Although my magnet is not the strongest. It does stick to the screws on back but not to any other part on the mirror in the slightest bit at all. I know brass is slightly magnetic and bronze is not(based on what I read on line) This measures 13 1/2" high X 12" wide X 2 3/4" deep. The width is measured including the knobs on the side that screw on and off. This is a gorgeous mirror that can compliment many styles such as art nouveau, victorian, shabby chic. the list goes on. When I ship I will be taking the knobs off so I can fit it in a large flat rate box. They will screw back in, but be forwarned, that you have to spin them a little until they line up correctly. They will screw in once you find ... morethe spot. One screws in a little further than the other. I just don't want them damaged in the shipping. I've compared some of the mirrors on line. This one seems a little bigger. The screws on back are standard flat screws rather than phillips head which is an older type screw. As stated in the condition description. I believe the back has been replaced. I do not think the back is the original. I really think this is an older one. Look at the pics up close. As stated in the condition description I have not cleaned this, because I am uncertain what would be considered patina and desirable to the collector. I will leave cleaning up to the buyer. Recent estate find: selling a magnificent antique early 1900's FRENCH silver mirror frame. Originally there was a pair of these mirrors- one still had the original double beveled edge mirror intact(which I didn't get) and mine is just the frame. But wow- what a gorgeous frame! This is extremely good quality- very thick and very heavy! Pictures cannot do justice! Can still be used as a picture frame as is or one can add a mirror inside. This mirror frame dates from the Victorian era- early 1900's from France. The metal appears like silver but it may be a silver alloy metal- have not had tested. I also didn't see any marks. ANTIQUE HAND MIRROR VICTORIAN ORNATE BRASS SILVERPLATE
From the Victorian Era is this mini"Hand Mirror" It has a very detailed. Raised carved back stem, mounted on bronze. The stem appears to be silverplate, but I am not an expert on this and just relaying my opinion on what it looks to be. The front of the mirror has a gold painted pattern all the way around it. It was hard for me to get a proper photo of the painted edges so I hop you can see it a little but it is really detailed. It measures 4.5" long by 2.5" wide on the circular part of the mirror. The frame was made by a company named Bunch Portrait Co. out of Chicago, Ill back in the day. The paper tag is still no the back of the cardboard that covers the mirror. It is more of a victorian style framed mirror. The mirror area is free of cracks or breaks. The frame shows a little wear with a few places of gesso coming off. Vintage Antique Victorian Stand Swivel Mirror Cast Iron? Vanity Ornate
This lovely vintage mirror stands 13 inches tall and is 9 1/2 inches wide at the base. I believe it to be cast iron. Definitely some type of heavy metal. It has natural patena and has no breakage in the mirror itself. It features a coin/jewelry scoop in the front which does show some rusting. Offered is a Vintage Triple Port Frame Victorian Style Wall Mirror. It measures approx. 20" long by 8 3/4" tall. The center mirror is 8 3/4" by 6 3/4" It is in good vintage condition with no cracks in the glass. There is some minor discoloration on the mirror and surface blemishes on the frame consistent with age. The frame is intact and hangs firmly on the wall. But should not be lifted or carried by holding just the decorative top piece. The frame top bar has some play or give to it. This estate mirror& frame are likely 90 to 110+ years old. 0206pp012

This is a stunning late 19th century antique handmade wood and brass Victorian wall mirror. It has an exquisite patina from age and well made. the frame is made from a hammered brass and has a very ornate design done in high relief. the trim is a wonderful floral pattern and the top part is equally as ornate. the top has a stunning barn scene set in an oval trim and is very detailed with figures. Animals, windmill, barn, etc. it is surrounded by wonderful scroll detailing also done in high relief. the brass pieces are set over a thick piece of dark stained wood and has a hanging wire ion the backside for mounting. the rectangular mirror is beautifully beveled. it has some small spotting but overall in good shape. has nice character, measures 20 inches tall by 11 inches wide. Antique Mirror Oak Arts & Crafts Victorian Ornate
A Victorian. Arts& Crafts era carved oak framed round mirror. This likely would have hung above a wash stand and basin. Possibly on a train. Assumed to be early American, but unmarked. We would date to the late 1800/early 1900's. The mirror is round beveled glass, the frame is a carved ornate shape with attached carved detail. There are two round-head wood pegs on either side of the top and two metal knobs with floral detail on each side at the bottom. Measures: 19"W x 22.75"L Condition: Overall this is a very unique and lovely piece. In the interest of full disclosure there are some issues noted as follows: 2.5" side/top split top left. Does not go through to back. Bottom left scroll/carved work may have been repaired(a slight line, but no break) Missing scroll-work top left& bottom right, stress breaks in various ... moreplaces.
