You can move them inward for more light reflection or keep them out to the side. This is from the late 1800's or very early 1900's. The Mirror is approx: 5' X 4' when the lamps are fullt extended. Solid wood backing. All Hand Made! This is ORIGINAL! Lamps are full functional and in excellent working condition. The globe is 26" in diameter with globe at 9" tall. This has a standard 12" glass chiminey. Oil drums are 22" in diameter. It is very heavy and solid! Outer scroll bars can be removed for easy moving. And made from very heavy solid brass. on the top is a large lion head which has very beautiful detail and in his mouth holds 3 dimensional scrollwork which leads down to the circle mirror. the mirror actually sits off of the wall and hangs from the lions mouth. Very exquisite obscure design. the mirror is in great shape. It was replaced at some point, and as well as the cardboard backing in the back, looks great. the piece has a wonderful patina from age. The color is a cherry stain with some scalloping on the top. The base is also wood and is oblong with simple trim work. The mirror is pretty clear, with minimal scratching and appears to be solid. The mirror is slightly uncentered and it also appears to be beveled(showing on one side. CONDITION: Antique. The date is unknown. But guessing Ca early 1900's to 1920s. I am not an expert and the date could be all wrong. The wood is in good condition, solid with no apparent breaks. There are some scratches. I'm guessing it has the sunlight hitting it on the right side for a hundred hears. This is made from one block of wood. No glue. The frame measures 11 1/2 inches diameter The mirror area is 6 inches diameter. The frame is 1 1/2 inches thick. The mirror is a replacement. The thumb tack was holding a string for hanging. Antique free standing mirror solid wood/ dresser/vanity/table top
Up for auction is an antique freestanding cherry mirror. This unique mirror is in good antique condition. It is made of solid wood I am not sure what kind of wood maybe cherry or walnut. Even the back has a solid piece of wood. There is a repair on the foot but looks like it was not totally broken has been repaired well.The original screws have been replaced. However these could be easily replaced with screws from the same period. This measures approximately 21 inches tall and approximately 14 inches across the base. This is a very heavy mirror for it size.

This is a stunning antique 19th century Victorian solid cast iron table pivoting mirror. it is a large mirror that is extremely ornate. Made from thick heavy cast iron, and has a lovely gold gilded finish. the mirror is in an oval format and pivots 180 degrees on two ribbed iron arms in the back connected to the base. the mirror has a detailed engraved trim. The frame is extremely detailed with floral and scroll detailing done in high relief. the base is nicely footed and is equally as ornate as the rest of the piece if not more. it has a beautiful cut out design and tapers from thin to wider. it is in great shape with a nice patina from age measuring 17 3/8 inches tall by 10 3/4 inches wide. As I was preparing this mirror for restoration. I found the remnants of an old newspaper behind the large mirror. It was dated September 16, 1903. That means this mirror is at least 111 years old, possibly older. The frame is magnificent solid tiger oak, which has been beautifully refinished. The four coat/hat hooks are solid brass which have been polished to a natural finish. The three original beveled mirrors, all have the usual aging spots, and shadows which is very common with mirrors this age. However, the image seen in the mirrors is clear. This is an extremely beautiful mirror which would enhance any hall oy foyer. 36 1/2" long 21" tall

Gorgeous old antique looking brass mirror. Oval shaped. This may be a vanity mirror because it does not have a hanger on the back to attach to wall. Very Old Wood Frame Mirror This is a fantastic antique mirror. The wood is actually in quite nice condition. The joints feel snug. There is some wear along the edges as well as some splitting that has little impact on its appearance. There is some light silver loss to the mirror. This has a wood backer board that is in place pretty snug. The hooks holding the wire on the back are newer. I think this originally had eye hooks on the exterior ends of the frame. There are small holes on opposite sides. The frame is rather thick and heavy. It measures about 20.5" x 16.5" The mirror portion is 13.5" x 9.5" The frame is 1" thick on the edge and extends/tapers out about another.5" Take a look at the photos provided and let me know if you have any questions. This solid brass 30 pound mirror is absolutely stunning. Try as I may. I can't get my camera to do it justice. In unique early Hollywood glam style. The frame is adorned in hand painted pastoral images set in China, and adoptive of the style. This was quite likely painted by Katherine Henick, a highly sought after artist designer in the 1930s who adorned furniture with east asian and provencal art. Unfortunately, I can't find a signature so this is unconfirmed; however, style and period indicate this is a Henick original Measures 41.5 x 25.5 x 1 in.
