Antique Art Nouveau style table mirror 1900
This art nouveau style table mirror is 12 ¼ inches tall and 9 ¾ inches wide. It is decorated with flowers of various types along the edges. It is likely made of spelter and has a gilded color to it. It has the original beveled mirror. There is a metal wire post that comes out to allow it to stand. This dates to the art nouveau period. Around 1900. The mirror is quite heavy weighing 3 ½ lbs. The frame has some discoloration including it is yellowish at the bottom. The metal has been cracked at the bottom right and repaired, but the crack is evident. The mirror has wear and some loss.

Small Shabby 23"x15" Antique Art Nouveau Gesso & Wood Petite Gold Gilt Mirror
Original early century art nouveau frame which measures 23" high and 14-5/8" wide in good strong condition over-all. As can be seen in the close-up photos of the top. There is a separation in the gesso(and this could be an over-lay of carved wood rather than gesso- can't tell for sure as the finish is adhering quite well and this separation does not weaken or compromise the integrity of the mirror- it's still retains its strength) The mirror, when seen from the bottom looking up, is a bit wavy. It may be and probably is the original mirror. As can be seen on the back there was moisture on the finish piece and the mirror is not affected by this. The wire on the back is doubled and old. but looks like it will serve its intended purpose for some time to come.

Antique art nouveau small brass wall mirror with 2 candle sconces
This is a charming small art nouveau wall mirror and 2 adjustable candle sconces. They are connected to the center of the frame with a bolt and ball nut that I do not feel are original although it has always been there for the 25 years that I have had the piece. It is all brass and has the face of a cherub at top center and on the back has a cast in loop to pass a wire through for hanging. The mirror is held in place by a metal strip screwed to the frame. The mirror is in perfect condition and measures 4" x 1 1/4" The complete length is 9 1/4" x 4 1/4" at widest part of frame. The sconces when fully extended are 8" and I will leave them that way for shipping. There are no identifying marks on it. I do not accept returns or give refunds. It's a really old triptysh used for shaving. Everything is original on this metal framed folding mirror, including a rare handle built on and very well fix ed. On the back of each mirror there's a lincrusta paper who look like leather. It's an art nouveau decoration with an embossed Lincrusta floral motif. However there's a color variation on each of the embossed coverings. A nice old vintage Wood and Gesso ornate picture mirror frame. It is in good condition with some signs of wear and some losses to the applied decorations. It is marked by the maker with a metal tag on the reverse side for Narcissus Mirrors. This large mirror measures 3 feet 1 inch high and 1 foot 11 inches wide. The inner opening measures 2 feet 6 inches high and 1 foot 6 inches wide. It has a nice look like that of the frames on Maxfield Parrish Prints from the Art Deco Nouveau periods. GORGEOUS Large Antique PLATEAU MIRROR Barbola Roses Swags Art Nouveau Paris
This heavy plateau mirror weighs 5 pounds. Came from an estate sale in Chesapeake, Virginia and it is 16.5” from end to end(from handle to handle) and 7.75” across, the perfect size for a grouping of porcelain flowers or perfume bottles. It has a beautiful patina. With delicate garlands of barbola roses on both sides and intricate art nouveau styled handles on both ends that are about 3.25” high, and a raised beading detail around the scalloped edge on the top of the mirror. There is a bit of ghosting to the mirror and a few small spots and minor scratches, and the paint is a bit chippy in places, but nothing major, as I show. Please note that the display items(the porcelain roses and the millinery flower bouquet) that are displayed with the mirror are not included in this auction; however, the millinery flowers are currently offered on another ... moreauction. The mirror is intact and looks to be original to the piece, and the old wood on the backside is reddish in color and also looks original. It appears to have been painted long ago, as you can see from the pictures of the backside. Excluding the ornate scrollwork handles, which are taller, the mirror itself stands about 2” high overall. Stunning Art Nouveau Vanity Hand Mirror in 800-950 silver. Possibly Silver plate at 925 grade but finely hallmarked along the side and reads"Derby Silver Pat. June 4. 1904" This is one of three pieces from the same Estate currently listed that were displayed and shown together. Upon closer inspection. I discovered that each were different, so split the listing. You may view the other pieces in my Very Ornate with a three dimensional Art Nouveau Repousse featuring a lovely woman in flowing gown among Cabbage Roses in the style of Alfons Mucha. Research shows this piece in Pewter by the same maker selling for $700. This piece is just stunning. There are a few subtle indentation along the edge(which are pictured) But not wear in the silver with the mirror reflection showing some minor discoloration along the beveled edge, but in general ... moreclear with no chips or cracks. Art Nouveau Woman Holding Mirror Antique AS IS Metal Gown Lady Figural Vanity. This wonderful table or vanity mirror was used on my grandmother's front counter in her antique and jewelry store for many years. The note on the back says"Not for sale for trying on Jewelry only" I will keep that note when this mirror sells. She had two similar ones so I am keeping the other one. This one did break and it is in pieces. Part of her right arm is missing. The finish is flaking off of the base cast iron metal. The height with the base is 17 1/2" The mirror is 5 1/2 by 7 1/2" and the figure is 8" The base has also split and does need repair. I think this is a fantastic example of a classic Art Nouveau piece with the flowing gown and her overstretched arms holding the mirror. Antique Edwardian Art Nouveau Bevel Mirror Carved Hardwood Framed Aston England
This is a Beautiful Antique Edwardian Art Nouveau Bevel Mirror in Carved Hardwood Framed. Made in England by Aston& Sons Ltd. The original maker's plaque on the back is shown in a closeup photo. The mirror was originally mounted on a small dresser or similar piece. As found. It has a picture wire for hanging as a beautiful wall mirror. With its small to medium size it is an extremely versatile piece and it would be a great piece of decor in a bedroom, family room, living room, bathroom, foyer, or as a focal point at the end of a hallway. The frame has a beautiful carved crown in high relief. The wood has a wonderful patina with a very warm glow. It is definitely hardwood. But we do not know what kind specifically. It could likely be a fruitwood or nutwood. It does not appear to be mahogany, walnut, oak, nor maple. The beautiful mirror ... morehas a wide bevel. There are a couple of condition issues noted below. The overall maximum dimensions are 22 1/2" x 17" x 1 1/2" The framed mirror weighs 7 1/2" so you need to provide secure mounting. Especially if mounted on drywall, and a minimum of two hangers would be very advisable. Condition Frame The frame is overall in wonderful condition as you can see from the photos with just a couple of issues to note: a couple of very minor nicks or scrapes on the wood. Many on edge surfaces. on each side panel is the outline of the dresser mounting hardware. And the attendant screw holes. One side is shown in a closeup photo Mirror The mirror looks great. But it does have a couple of fairly minor condition issues: around the edges. There are several spots of missing silver. These are right at the edge and are not very noticeable. on the interior. There are some very light scratches on the silver. If you look carefully at the main photos, you can pick some of these out. This is a small lovely fleur de lis pocket type mirror that I purchased at an antique store several years ago. I do not know if this is an antique or vintage. It is a gold tone metal. I do not know what type of metal it is. The mirror itself is very flawed and has lost its reflective abilities. The piece is 3" long and 2" wide. This is a very unique piece. It use to be all gold, but I professionally hand painted it with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and applied some gold leaf for an incredible old world finish. This is an antique piece dating back to the early 1900's and has a wonderful high relief design of flowers and flowing leaves. ABSOLUTELY MARVELOUS! This wonderful old mirror is very heavy. Weighing in over 6 pounds unpacked. It is oval, the frame standing nearly 19" high by 16" wide. The mirror is original to the piece. It measures 12" high by 10" wide. It has a few minor marks where the silvering has worn away(as shown) and a couple of faint cloudy spots, but still reflects a pretty clear image. I used Annie's"Versailles" ... morePale Celadon Green) on the leaves and"Scandinavian Pink" Similar to Salmon) on the flowers. It has been finished with a light application of dark wax to bring out the superb carvings and accented with gold leaf in the flower centers and the outer rim of the oval mirror trim. Antique Art Nouveau Tri Fold Vanity Shaving Mirror with Portrait Paintings
This is a unique antique art nouveau trifold mirror. It stands on brass feet. Folds flat with a clasp but latch is missing from clasp. Middle mirror is a replacement; the side two mirrors are beveled. The middle one is not. The frames around the mirrors are beautifully carved and stained, and it looks to me like possibly a wood burning tool was used. The fold outs are faced with hand carved, painted portraits with gold and also the wood tones complementing traditional art nouveau style detailing. Overall good condition. The paintings are missing some molding, but they stay in place. Two corners of one portrait were glued at some point and that glue is visible-see the close up photos. Each panel measures 12 7/8 inches by 10 7/8. The overall measurement of the whole triptych open is 33 1/8 by 13 1/2 inches. Purchased from Les Puces-a flea market ... morein Paris. Probably dating from 1880 to the turn of the century. This is the kind of piece a woman might have carried in her trunk. My great grandmother had something similar; she was Czech and used to pack it with her things when she went to Paris to buy dresses. These photos don't really do it justice-it's very nice. Gorgeous Art Nouveau Antique Gold Toned Ormolu Vanity Mirror w Velveteen Base
Here for your consideration is a gorgeous Art Nouveau vanity mirror in beautiful condition. Fresh from the auction. This piece is gold toned ormolu open swirling vines and flowers. It has an unusual shape, I haven't seen one like it, the ends extend over the furniture to make the design open and even easier to enjoy. Even the wrap around gold tone edge is of a flower followed by 2 leaves, that it repeats all around the mirrors edge, photo 6. Even the inside edge is made up of 3 individual designs, very rich in appearance, 3rd photo. 18 7/8" long by 9 5/8" at the widest and 8 5/8" in the middle. 3/8" thick along the band. Design on the long ends protrudes 1 7/8" The velveteen is worn in spots but not loose from the backing, could be left as is or replaced with fresh as desired. I wouldn't hang this mirror on ... morethe wall for fear that the soulder could break and cause the piece to fall from the wall and break. It could be admired/used by placing it on a plate holder and stand on the vanity. If I were keeping it, I'd place the beautiful perfume bottles on part and put the jewelry I'd worn that day on the mirror until morning. I can find no makers marks. And while searching I found NO issues to report. The piece is in excellent condition, truly a joyful piece, and be proud of. The shape reminds me of the Fiddle back sewing machine my mother just bought for a small fortune. Pre packaged weight is 2 pounds 8 ounces. Swivel mirror is held up by a beautiful woman in a flowing gown with a floral motif running down one side. In the midriff area is an impressed star which may be a makers mark(no other marks found) The swivels on the mirror are shell scroll designs and it has a metal backing. I believe the piece once had a gold gilt finish which has worn away. The piece appears to be cast of some type of white metal with a bronze finish. Exact age and maker unknown. ANTIQUE BRASS ART NOUVEAU TIFFANY & CO. HAND MIRROR
TIFFANY ART NOVEAU SOLID BRASS HAND MIRROR Great Tiffany piece. This mirror measures 12" long by 5 3/4 at it widest section. The frame's motif is intricate scrollwork and flowers. The braid or rope motif handle tapers down to an embellished female face, typical of that era. The solid brass back is screwed on. one screw missing, see photo) and it is marked TIFFANY& CO. 0502, MAKERS 6982 M. It also has a ring attached for hanging. The beveled mirror does have some visible wear under the glass. But can easily be replaced by a good reputable glass shop. This is a great addition for any collector. With a bit of cleaning needed. Antique 1920's Russian Art Nouveau Brass Table Vanity Oval Mirror. With beautiful embossed decorations and sculptured Cupid shooting a arrow on top. A bundle of 3 lovers sculptured on the bottom of the mirror. The base is beautifully decorated with flowers& leaves. With a concave shell shape space for small vanity or jewelry items. About 9" tall. Base is 5" x 2.25" 6" wide from side to side. Mirror is4.75" x 3.5" Condition: Used.The sides of the mirror are with glue marks.The hinge around which the mirror is moving needs a replacing of one screw. Please see photos.
