Very Unique Hand Painted Dutch or German Mug or Stein-4 Footed-Gilded
Up for Auction is a vintage or antique hand painted stein or mug possibly made in Germany or Holland. I'm not sure about it's age or who the maker is. I do know that it was my grandmother's and my mother( born in 1945) said it was always a fixture in their house dating back to her earliest childhood memories. The letters PAM are engraved on the bottom of this mug. This Stein or mug is very charming and attractive with gilded areas around the top. Bottom, and handle. Great eye appeal! This item has a few very small spots where the gold and colored paint has come off but other than that it's in excellent shape with no visible scratches, cracks, or chips out of the material. It is 8 1/2" tall and a little over 5" wide including handle. This is an antique German mug in pristine condition with no cracks. Chips, or crazing. It measures 3" in diameter and 3 3/4" wide overall including handle. It stands 3" tall. It has a little"spatter" type paint detail as the color transitions from the the top and bottom into a creamy white middle. The bottom reads"Germany 204" I imagine the bull riding a bicycle and the donkey mean something but I'm not familiar with the characters or possible story behind the characters. There are felt feet already attached to the bottom of this mug to protect furniture and mug itself. There are no cracks, chips or breaks. The bottom of this mug is scalloped and the measurements are 3 1/2" tall, 3 1/2" diameter rim to rim. This beautiful primitive antique small stoneware drinking mug or cup is German. 17th century. It retains a museum collection number on the bottom. The mug has a very pleasing form, and a nice mustardy/grey color. It measures 3 5/8" high. With a 3" diameter base, and a 2 1/4" opening. Overall, the condition is good. ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE 17TH/18TH CENTURY GERMAN SALT-GLAZED STONEWARE DRINKING MUG
This antique primitive German salt-glazed stoneware drinking mug is circa 17th/18th century. It has a pleasing. Mottled mustardy brown/gray color. There are nice raised ring details around the upper and lower part of the mug. The ring handle is a little crooked, which just totally adds to its character. The mug measures ~4" high x 4" wide. Including the handle, with a 2 1/4" diameter mouth opening, and a 3" diameter base. It is in good condition overall, with some minor chips around the perimeter of the mouth opening and the base. There are no major cracks or chips that I can see. I do not believe the mug has been restored, but since I am not an expert in this field, I ask that you please zoom in on all the pictures for detailed close-ups. Thank you for looking. Antique German KPM "Tom & Jerry" #21495 Shaving or Mustache Mug w/ brush
Very nice antique shaving mug with purple and yellow flowers that surround the entire surface of the mug. This mug stands 3 1/4" tall and 4 1/2" wide at the handle. The mug also includes the names"Tom and Jerry" which could have been the names of the barber shop owners at that time. Adorned with gold gild and accompanied with a white shaving brush this would make an excellent addition for any collector. There are no chips. Cracks, or other damage noted. There is a blemish noted inside the mug that can be seen in the photos. It looks like this is a blemish that happened during manufacturing of the piece.
