Antique Copper Luster Ware Embossed Yellow Band Lusterware Beaded Mug Cup Old
Here is an antique. Bright and shiny copper luster ware 3" mug for your consideration. I don't know if the base is glass or porcelain, but it is thin and quite light in weight. The copper luster completely covers the inside of the mug which is embossed with a floral design in three places around the yellow band. The copper bottom band is encircled with a tiny beading design. The bottom diameter of the mug measures 3.25 inches and is shiny with the copper luster. There is no maker's mark anywhere on the piece. Condition is very good, no chips, no nicks, no cracks, no bites, no flakes. only flaw would be that the copper luster has normal age/use related wear on the handle, and around the very rim of the cup, and around the very edge of the base. Overall the copper luster is still quite dominant, and when I washed this with warm ... morewater, the cup stayed warm for quite a while as the metal held the heat! Measuring approximately 2 3/4" high by 2 1/2" wide is this Early. Original, Porcelain(or soft-paste, but not sure) Copper Luster mug. This mug is in good condition. Conducive with its age and use, and is being sold"as-is" There is some wear on bottom, and I do not see or feel any chips or cracks. Nice"early" piece of"Luster-ware"
