Hi for sale I have an antique pier or hall mirror. The mirror measures: 86" tall x 26" wide x 3 1/2" deep. The style of the mirror looks to be empire victorian. The mirror has beveled glass. Primitive Pittsburgh Plate Glass Co. Beveled Mirror Antique Shabby Mirror 1921
This is a beautiful shabby primitive mirror produced by Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company. There is a stamp on the back that says the Manufacturer name and underneath that is the date. March 1921. Beautiful ornate detail on the top of the frame. There is a surface crack in the paint and or wood. This piece is sturdy and does not appear to be anywhere near a breaking point. The mirror has beveled. Straight lines. The mirror is quite shabby. The frame is in the same shabby condition. Measurements of the frame: 33" tall x 16.75" wide. The mirror itself measures 27" tall x 16.75" wide. The backside hanging wire appears to be a replacement. Half of the back cover is missing and there is a tear on this same cover towards the bottom. Small Shabby 23"x15" Antique Art Nouveau Gesso & Wood Petite Gold Gilt Mirror
Original early century art nouveau frame which measures 23" high and 14-5/8" wide in good strong condition over-all. As can be seen in the close-up photos of the top. There is a separation in the gesso(and this could be an over-lay of carved wood rather than gesso- can't tell for sure as the finish is adhering quite well and this separation does not weaken or compromise the integrity of the mirror- it's still retains its strength) The mirror, when seen from the bottom looking up, is a bit wavy. It may be and probably is the original mirror. As can be seen on the back there was moisture on the finish piece and the mirror is not affected by this. The wire on the back is doubled and old. but looks like it will serve its intended purpose for some time to come.

Here's a pretty little antique tri fold mirror I recently found at an estate sale. It is in very nice shape. It is 19.5 inches tall. The Center mirror is 15" wide and the two side mirrors are just over 7.5" a piece. Folded. It is 3/4 inch thick. Nice original brass hardware and screws. Mirror and glass is in great shape with no flaking or chips. Minor scratches in the paint of the frame. Excellent find. This looks like wood but I'm thinking it is metal. Antique Vintage Shabby Oval Beveled Mirror With Ornate Metal Frame
This auction is for an antique vintage oval beveled mirror with an ornate metal frame. The frame measures 12" tall and 9" wide. The mirror is 7-1/2 x 5-1/2. The frame has a light misting of rust on it but all of the decoration is intact. The back of the frame holding the mirror in place appears to be brass. It shows surface scratching. Has a dent in the center, and shows some rust, especially at the top. There are four bars which screw into the frame which hold the mirror/backing in place. There are two loops molded into the frame to hold the wire for hanging. The mirror is hazy around the edges and has marks on the surface, the largest which is shown in the last photo. The mirror is beautiful alone or hanging with a collection of antique mirrors.

We are pleased to offer this beautiful mirror. This lovely antique to older vintage mirror features French Trumeau design with a wonderful Tortoise Shell Eglomise pattern above the long mirror. The pattern is done in dark brown with gold highlights and veining under glass. The frame is simple and elegant. Very Parisian. It is solid wood which is painted in white with a very soft French blue or teal on the raised areas of the wooden frame. Each corner piece is a carved floral accent which is painted in gold. Gesso and wood framed mirror with barbola flowers. The mirror and antique frame are in very good/excellent vintage condition. Mirror appears to be in perfect condition- no visible signs of defect. Gilded frame shows distress from age. In some areas the gilded material has flaked off and there cracks along the frame. But this certainly adds to the vintage and shabby appeal of this antique Victorian piece. Lower right hand corner of frame has a small area where gesso has broken off(see pictures) This item was purchased at a local auction and I was told it is from the early 1900s, but I have nothing to confirm the age. Excellent Shabby Antique Ivory Wooden Framed Beveled Hall Wall Mirror
This is an excellent charming antique wall mirror with a very old coat of ivory paint that has a crackle appearance because of its age. The frame is wooden and very sturdy and the glass is thick. Heavy, and beveled all the way around. There is some cloudiness and streakiness from age, but overall, the mirror looks very good. There are no chips or cracks. This is perfectly useable and hangable and has a look that is very versatile; use it as-is or add something to it(antique hat hooks perhaps) There are two screw eyes and a chain attached to the back for hanging, but I'm not sure if the chain is strong enough to hold up the mirror and would consider upgrading to a heavy wire. We are pleased to offer this antique. Mid Century, mirrored wall cabinet with built in iron and ironing board. This ORIGINAL cabinet unit was produced in the mid 1950s. This piece features a long mirrored cabinet door with wood frame. The door opens to reveal the folding ironing board and iron. The iron is a GE steam iron, model 17F29. The iron's power cord is attached to the cabinet and the cabinet has been hardwired directly into the wall(see photo11) The interior of the door still retains the original manufacturer's direction which were taped on the door. The cabinet has metal sides and an open back. There is a wooden shelf on the back side(interior) of the cabinet with two drilled, large holes for spray starch and other"ironing necessities" There ir an opening in the bottom front of the cabinet, under the mirrored door, ... morewhich houses the iron when not in use. The ironing board folds neatly into the cabinet when not in use. It, too, retains its original cover. The exterior wooden frame has been painted white and slightly distressed. A darker, antique glaze has been applied as well as a blackened, splattered" glaze for a very beautiful finish with lots of character. This is a somewhat rare piece in that all of the original components are present. They are in good, antique condition. The exterior frame is quite nice as is the mirror although there are some"age spots" on the mirror itself. These are minor and do not distract. The ironing board moves up and down as it was intended with no problems. The iron is old and the stainless finish has some spotting. The wiring is original. This is a fantastic piece either for the collector or the unit would make an interesting addition to your laundry room. The piece is quite large and. It has been coated with a clear adhesive to help prevent further chipping. Antique wall mirror painted shabby white with architectural design.
This is a great large wall mirror. I have painted it not perfectly to have it look shabby. I've done it in a creamy white and then shabbied the paint in places to have the wood show through. There is also some drips of paint to add to the look. The detail on the wood is great makes it really stand out. The wire on the back might need some adjusting. There is a small black spot in bottom corner. Nothing to bother the use of the mirror, there are also some lines in the mirror but not enough to use and see perfectly in the mirror. This is a beautiful heavy solid wood mirror. I believe it is around 50-60 years old. It has a nice little detail around the inner part of the wood. It was originally a tan stain and I painted it a French blue chalk paint and the distressed it so you can see the natural wood in some places and the light stain color as well.I then sealed it with clear paste wax. It is very distressed for a primitive look. If you are looking to add a pretty French blue to your decor this will be the perfect addition! PLEASE NOTE: There are a couple flecks in the mirror. Antique Barbola roses mirror with bow from around the 1920's. Lovely large size. Perfect really, at 22" tall by 21 1/4" wide. Gorgeous. Ornate detail with muted gold shimmery patina on the frame. Barbola roses. Rose leaves with a large bow on the top. Roses along the sides with sweeping leaf motif flowing between blooms. In fine condition except for one small missing edge. see 2nd to last picture) Does not show much. But it not perfect. The frame is made of wood- solid and firm. Ready to hang on wall on solid. Safe, but original wires. All the barbola and roses are intact. The true age of this fabulous mirror is obvious from the back- 1920's probably. And even maybe earlier in the Victorian era.
