Antique Collectible Wrought Iron Mirror with Shelf & Towel Rack NR
You're looking at an oval swivel mirror in a tin oval frame that is attached to a wrought iron hanger with a shelf and towel rack. The mirror& oval frame are slightly under 12" x 10" the entire piece is approximately 18"h x 10-1/2" w x 4-1/4" deep The space between the twisted iron towel rack and shelf is 1-3/4" There's 9-3/4" of space on the towel rack for the towel. The mirror is secured on the back by metal bend-over tabs. I've seen these on toys made in the 40s-50s. I can't say whether this is a hand-made piece-where someone riveted the frame/mirror to the wrought iron shelf/towel rack. Or whether it is one piece, or whether all or part is pre-fab or handmade. I have the piece sitting on the stair because the towel rack makes it impossible for this to sit flat.

It has a eye catching carved face& other detailed carvings. There is a shelf right above the glass mirror part. It is in really good condition considering that it is quite old. This would make such an attractive asset to any room that you put it in. The whole mirror with frame measures about 51" wide X 30" at its tallest. The glass measures 43 1/4" wide X 15" high. The shelf is about 44" long X 6 1/2" at its deepest. The first picture represents the closest coloring of this item. Sorry that the other pics turned out a little darker. You can either keep the original wood planks that are attached to the back of the mirror for attaching this ... moreto furniture. Or you can remove those planks& have a gorgeous freestanding mirror on your wall. There are some common use marks& scratches on the wood frame that I believe only give this mirror character(as seen in pics) Small crack in wood on upper left. There appears to be a small cracked area underneath the top surface of the glass on the left side. This Antique shelf mirror measures 12 inches tall the smaller shelf is 3 inches deep the bottom shelf is 5 inches deep. What I found when searching this is that it is from the 30's the wood most likely is mahogany the mirror is old so it is not real clear like mirrors today. Up for bid we have an antique Shadowbox Shelf with Mirror right out of the dusty attic! The item is in really good condition with some usual wear on the side from being old but nothing major. The composite on the outside is in really nice condition as you can see. I tried to take enough pictures to show every angle so please study them to judge for your self. This is a vintage peach mirrored corner display shelf that grace my tiny powder room along with a glorious peach mirror photo frame(to be listed) and a peach top larger mirror. The overall color is vibrant. I feel that 1st and photo of the picture frame best indicate the true color. The back. Over it's years before my ownership, has been glued several times for hanging purposes. When the'shelf' portion was replaced, it was suggested then that the best way to hang it was a simple anchored screw at the top of the middle opening. Up for Sale a Fabulous Antique Italian Florentine Rococo Highly Carved Wood Gold Leaf Wall Mirror Frame Shelf 25" Long. DESCRIPTION: Finials Fleur de lis Elaborate wood acanthus leaves are supporting the shelf Wood is just beautifully carved covered with bright gold leaves. The back side is just as beautiful and tells a lot about the workmanship. Cardboard back was taped on the back and it's loose. Nothing to be concerned about it. It looks like the mirror was replaced because is not beveled. MEASUREMENTS: 25" long 10 3/4" wide at widest point( shelf) Inner oval mirror 9" x 7 1/4" It stick out from the wall 4.5" Shelf is 3 3/4" wide at widest point x 8 3/4" long. CONDITION: Minor cracks are shown in last 3 pics. I have counted a total of 15 minor cracks. Shelf has some missing and repainted carved"ball" ... morerim( pic 4. 9) 75" missing carved"balls" rim. 2" roughly replaced( and repainted( not sure if that is visible on pic 9) 1" replaced repainted on the other end. Here is a beautiful Oak Pier Mirror with marble shelf circa 1890. Measures 25" x 85" overall. With the marble shelf measuring 8" x 25" at a height of 18" The glass mirror is beveled and marked"Durand Process, Patent Silvering Trademark, May(date unreadable) This piece is all original and the oak looks great. The marble has been professionally repaired(a crack) and can barely be seen in the photo. Not noticeable unless you know it's there. The mirror has an area in the lower right corner with silvering issues(spots- see last photo) but this doesn't affect the overall beauty of this piece and is not detected in the reflected image unless you are doing a close-up inspection. Antique Oak Entryway Mirror with Shelf and Hanging Pegs or Hooks
You are bidding on an Antique Entryway Mirror. It measures approximately 24.5" long. And about 15.25" at the top, but only about 14" wide at the bottom. The shelf will extend from the wall about 4" I am not sure what type of wood this is. But I think it is oak. It is kind of colored like mahogany. But I think that is only the stain. It has three antique hooks at the bottom, and a cool shelf also at the bottom. It edges are beveled. It is a really great older looking mirror. The glass looks to be of pretty good quality as well. There is, what looks to be a piece of tape or paper at the top. I think it could be removed fairly easily, but I am not messing with it for fear of messing something up. Antique JB Van Sciver Gold Gilt Carved Wood Original Matching Mirror Shelf Set
For your consideration today is this great estate sale find of a matching pair of JB Van Sciver antique mirrors. They appear to be carved wood with a thick gold guilt style paint in what I would call an art nouveau or Victorian style. Each mirror also features a small shelf at the bottom making them even more unique and desirable. The condition is excellent for their age nothing major to report. There are no chips but the paint does have age related wear. There are fine cracks in the paint and/or wood as shown in the pics. These do not affect the integrity of the mirrors at all and in fact only adds to their charm. The mirrors themselves have no damage at all. There is no waviness or cloudiness of the glass. They are being sold as found and need some cleaning up. They measure about 32" long. 14" across the widest part, and the small ... moreshelves at the bottoms extend out from the mirrors 4" Both have what looks like their original hanging wires attached on the backsides. Beautiful. OLD, 19thC wall mirror and shelf unit. This is a large piece measuring 44" wide, 33" tall and 5" to the wall. The unit features VERY ORNATE AND DETAILED carved wood with notched patterns and severe geometric cuts. The unit features a glass mirror in the center as well as a beveled side mirror. There is a stick and ball arch at the top of the unit and there are ball and stick balustrades on the shelf sections. This is a very nice unit with exceptional details. It is original with the glass mirrors still held in place with their original wood supports on the back. The top arch is held in place with the original wood dowels. The shelf is finished in a burgundy brown paint which is old, but I do not know if it is original. The unit is very heavy. It is in very good condition with expected evidence of age and use. There ... moreare some scuffs to the finish which can be resolved and are not terribly distracting. The glass is original and the mirrors do show some aging. They are not chipped or cracked, just some cloudiness and age spots. This is a beautiful mirror/shelf. Do to the size and somewhat fragile nature of the unit. Circa 1800s. Combination display shelf and beveled mirror(add antique hooks makes it also a coat rack! Guaranteed Victorian piece. Outside, recessed panels match and are tiger oak. They have classic, Eastlake, caved leafy flowers. The middle recessed panel holds the original beveled mirror. There are contoured brackets to the left and right of mirror that lead down to pawn finials. The brackets support a small display shelf with a spindle rail below. The shelf and rail has nice beveled edges all around. Will include free wall mounting clips if requested by winner. The mirror shows age, but very usable.
