Up for auction is this large Vintage 1900's Wood Oval Mirror with beveled glass the glass was cut by OW. Slane Glass co. The glass has some faded areas. The wood frame has some loose joints. Beautiful Antique Oval Wooden Mirror! Purchased this beauty at a local estate sale. Fresh Today! Measures at 18 inches long by 15 inches across the middle. The glass is in Excellent condition. I am not sure what the wood is. It was marked Walnut. But I do not know enough to say for sure. I did put this against CHerry in photo 1 and against Oak in photo 7. So you can see the difference. Very Pretty. The back has some water stains on the bottom. Nothing major. The frame is in Great Shape, but does show some age. Nicks and dings ans some scratches. Antique Oval Wooden Mirror Walnut Mahogany
Here is an antique oval mirror. Mirrored glass is not beveled. The wood is dark. Maybe walnut or mahogany. It does seem to have stain on it. Some rough spots along the edge, and one small chip. But the carved wooden frame is still lovely, and the glass is not scratched, cracked or chipped. The way the back is finished makes me think this was a picture frame that someone turned into a mirror. 15 3/4 inches by 12 3/4 inches, and the wooden frame is about 1 1/2 thick. This auction is for an antique mirror. It is oval in shape and measures approx. 25 by 31 inches. It has a gold liner and the frame has been painted black. There is some nice detail on the frame. I am uncertain of the age but can tell it is much older. Also quite heavy. There is some minor wear to the frame as can be scene in the photos. Thanks for looking. The mirror is perfect rectangle. Large Oval Mirror Dark Oak Wooden Frame English Quality Piece 31" x 24" 20 Lbs. The old Mirror with the Brass Eagle on the top. The approximate age is beginning of 20th Century. The mirror framed in wood. The upper left side has a damage the wood is detached a little bit. I think it is possible to fix.
