Vintage Wall Mirror Rectangle/Solid Wood/Real Nice/ 1920-1930's! As you can see from the Photo's this is a very nice Vintage Mirror. The wood has some of it's History with a few marks on it. It has an area on the bottom right that needs repairing where the seem has come away(see pictures) also will need the glass replaced, it was my Step Fathers who is 80 he got it from his mom, he said it is from the 1920-1930's. Not sure of the wood, it is a dark red wood& solid. The mirror measures 27 1/2" tall x 17" wide. Insurance included in the shipping price. Pleas ask questions before bidding. Thank you

Not only do I personally collect them. With almost every room of my home having at least"one" hung in it, I can NEVER seem to pass them up when I find them in my travels! This one is not perfect. But DEEEEELICIOUS nonetheless! With bits of desilvering here and there and a small flush" bump" to the underside along one side edge(shown in my photo) this Old Gal is still a BEAUTY to BEHOLD in my opinion! Beautifully ETCHED at her top arch and BEVELED all the ... moreway around! I was told at the Estate Sale where she was purchased, that she had come off the door of an old Medicine Cabinet, thus the reason there is no hanging hardware or backboard attached to her. Prop her for display as I have shown on your mantle, dresser, vanity or shelf, or hang her from the wall mounting her with mirror clips which can be purchased easily and inexpensively from any hardware store. She measures in at 14" wide x 22" tall and hails from the"MID-WEST GLASS CO. of CINCINNATI. OHIO and was manufactured on June 12, 1936! Besides the time worn flaws mentioned above that most can forgive, she has no chips or cracks. Even with the bits of desilvering, her mirrored surface still reflects beautifully and clearly! Vintage Barbola Mirror deep bevel early 1930's Cabbage Rose
I bought 2 wonderful mirrors in 1973 at an Antique Shop in Bath. England. Selling the small one keeping the large one. I have moved into a small senior apartment and have to downsize"some" This style is charming. Delightful cabbage roses, flowers and leaves. The term"barbola" refers to an ornamentation. Usually flowers, made from a soft clay. The soft clay is made with Barbotine. The mirror itself measures 6 inches round. With a deep bevel over a half inch wide. The mirror has some darkening around the perimeter from age. photo 4 Photo 5 shows light cracks on the top of the barbola flower arrangement. From age and settling. For your bidding. I have a Antique/Vintage Art Deco Eames Era Lucite 2 sided mirror. This piece is from the 1930's or 40's. It is a wonderful vintage piece. The mirror has no faded places in it. The metal piece on one side of the mirror has faded and is not longer gold but it in no way takes away from the piece. It stands 25" high and is 15" wide and weighs nearly 10 lbs. Vintage beveled glass 1930's mirror 75"x19" 44 Lbs mint Ogee frame hall pier We are offering this excellent Federal style mirror from the 1930's. It is a stately 6 foot 3 inches long. This can be shipped by UPS or picked up. At my home, in NY 10956. A hall. Mantle or pier mirror of figured flame mahogany on maple measuring an impressive 75" X 19" X 2" thick, it weighs 44 pounds unpacked and 59 pounds well crated for safe shipping. The 3” wide by 2" thick, Federal style, Ogee frame contains the original beveled glass that is in superb condition. This has been in the family since the 30's and was probably made decades earlier. Obviously. It has been well cared for and is quite useable for many more generations. It is simply too large for our current downsizing needs and we regretfully must part with ... moreit. We were told, by our grandparents, that this frame was part of a larger piece that was in our old family home in Pennsylvania. The solid and sturdy wood frame is in exemplary condition without any cracks or chips and all 4 corners are undamaged. Which is unusual but desirable for a piece this age. The fine beveled glass and silvering is excellent and the clear, unscratched, unfoged mirror is totally useable. To show the excellent condition. We removed the thin wood sheet backing for photographs, then replaced the backing. There are no company names on this frame. Hanging this vertically is easy with the old. Original, hook that goes through the frame's top. Hanging horizontally is done with 2 screws into the wall studs which is the method shown in the gallery photo of my home. Can also be simply stood on end without hanging on the wall. This fine piece was hung on the stairway landing for some 20 years. Very handy for a full length look on the way out of the house.
