Victorian era Gesso/gold gilt mirror EXCELLENT
This is a fine antique Victorian era mirror in gold gilted Gesso. As you can see in the pictures most of the gesso work is near perfect for its age, in the last 2 pictures it may some aging(minor fissures) but nothing that is really noticable. The mirror came from the same estate as the table its on(not for sale) and the piece is an excellent example of that era, mirror has no flaking or crazing of any kind, I CANNOT include freeshipping on this item because it must be packed well and carefully so no damage occurs, must be insured as well, dimensions are 28" 1/2 inches wide x 20" 1/2 inches high measured by mirror, a little higher if on center because of ornate top, so add about another 4" inches if you are interested in on center. This Antique Victorian Era Bronze mirrored Sconce is in beautiful condition. It features a head of Bacchus or Dionysus. The God of Wine with georgeous reticulated grape vine design through out. The very nice solid cast bronze frame has a nice finish and I have not attempted to polish or clean it. That I will leave to the buyer. The mirror is in wonderful condition for it's age( over 100 years old) There is a slight clouding at the corners. It is 16" tall by 9" wide. I think that the three candle holder arms could be removed. Screws on the back(see photo) if desired. Outstanding Victorian Era Rare Stick and Ball Mirror or Picture frame
Up for auction is one very sweet wooden frame I would estimate was made in the 1880's-1890's. This frame is a very large 46" tall x 34" wide at the bottom x 39.25" wide at the topx 2.25" deep. Frame is in excellent condition except for a piece of rail that has been damaged. This is easily replaced and made perfect again. This frame is very tight. And I know how it will look against a painted wall or over a mantel as a mantel mirror, or as a large bathroom or entrance mirror. You will not find another on Ebay, it's very unique. For sale is this tall Victorian Era wood and gesso gold mirror. It originally had a yellowing picture of Napoleon in the top under the glass. I replaced this with a mod 1960's fashion shot. This auction is for an older Victorian Era Oval Beveled Edge Wall Mirror from England. This is a very pretty mirror. The frame is what we call ceramic over wood. The frame has wonderful detailing from a master craftsman. It still works and with it's pretty and unique style adds interest and charm anywhere you hang it. The clarity is good for it's age without any cloudiness. There are a few cracks on the frame. Look closely at the pictures. It has the old style wall mounts on the back which have been turned in and a wire has been added for hanging. This is an older mirror, more than likely 90 to 100 years old or older and for it's age& travels it's in good overall condition but it is not Perfect. This is Truly a Beautiful Antique from the Victorian Era(Mid to late1800's) A Handheld Mirror w/ Floral and Scrolling Motif. Needs to be polished. Mirror is very old and has scratches in some areas. But you can still see your reflection quite well. There are 2 screw at top handle which are obviously not original. Someone must have replaced them at some point. This is an antique wooden Victorian era wall hanging towel rack holder. It has been handmade following the Eastlake design. It is in overall good condition. The upper piece that runs left to right is loose and needs to be re-glued. There is a crack in the wood on the back where it is loose- please see the picture that shows this. It is lovely. The mirrors are beveled and surrounded by very nice brass trim. The brass is ribbed and has wonderful end caps with a intricate design. There is a beading detail along the edges. Very nicely done. The back sides of the mirrors are covered with a pressed leatherette board. The side boards have a pebbled finish and the back side is plain. The back side is what receives the most wear from use and you can see that in the photos. When folded the mirror measures about 10 3/8 inches top to bottom and about 7 7/8 inches across. The thickness of the folded mirror is about 2 1/2 inches. When ... moreexpanded. Or unfolded, the mirror measures 22 1/2 inches side to side. There is a nice chain on the top if you want to hang the mirror. The chain extends from the top edge of the mirror about 4 inches. There is a ring at the top of the chain for hanging purposes. The mirror panels fold one way. So when you go to fold it you will easily find which way is correct. It is in very good condition. There are no chips or cracks and no repairs. The hinges work nicely. There is wear to the board on the back side. Or bottom, of the mirror as already mentioned. The 2 other boards are in very nice condition with minor wear. The mirrors have some wear and there is discoloration, or darkness, along the edges or corners. However, overall, the mirrors considering their age are quite nice. Up for sale is this Large Antique Eastlake Carved Design Original Mirror. Stands approx 5 ft. tall and 2 ft wide. 10 inches thick at the top. Good/Fair condition with marks or scratches and crackling to the original mirror as shown. The top left crown is also loose requiring glue or nailing for stabilization. Up for bids is this beautiful intricate Victorian era style. Brass desk to/vanity mirror. Has a fold out stand on the back, or can just hang up on wall, either way. I am not sure where or who designed it, but I am pretty sure that it is a real antique, Not a reproduction. In excellent condition. Just some wear& patina from old age throughout the years. Mirror w/brass frame measures approx. 12"in tall, 8"in. across. And just the mirror insert itself measures; approx. 6"inches long, and 4"in. across/width. This is what I believe to be a Victorian era French style cartouche mirror. Beveled Pewter Victorian Era Vanity Mirror-Danish
Listed for sale is a lovely. Hand-held Victorian mirror with beveled glass. Made in Denmark, it is in excellent condition for its age with no chips or cracks. The glass mirror is also in excellent condition. The scene on the reverse side shows several men playing music. The piece measures aprox. 4.5" tall with an approx. 2.5" diameter.
