This is a beautiful Eastlake Victorian mirror. It's approximately 2 feet wide(at its widest point at the top cornice molding by 4 feet tall. Not sure of the wood type but looks to be either walnut or mahogany. The mirror is original. Could use finishing with shellac. But even as is beautiful. Philadelphia area here. It measures 38" wide at its widest point and is 24" high. The mirror itself measures 14" x 9.5" and the shelf is 5" deep. The mirror has been replaced and the patinaed brass coat hooks may or may not be original to the piece. The Eastlake Victorian frame appears to be in excellent vintage condition. Great Eastlake Walnut Victorian Cottage Frame-Ready for another 120-years
Up for auction is a Victorian Cottage/ Shabby Mirror surround with the mirror frame. And is in almost untouched condition, other than the fact that someone painted it at some time. Frame is 50" tall x 36.75" wide and 2.5" deep. No mirror is included. However, just add a piece of 1/4" to 3/8" plywood to the back, paint it with some chalkboard paint, and you'll have a killer chalkboard that can be hung in any room in the house. Circa 1850-1860 Victorian Eastlake Style Pier Hall Mirror
With all the richness of the mid 1800's Victorian era. We have an Eastlake style pier hall mirror. The top of the mirror has Gothic style gingerbread trim in two rows. The top middle of the mirror frame has double ornamental upside down finial carvings. The frame detail includes low relief and incised line carvings commonly found in Eastlake style. The mirror is flanked by smooth columns that look marbleized in dark wood and black. The mirror has been loved and used. The wood columns. Believed to be walnut, are worn and scuffed. The top left cornice is off and needs to be re-attached. The bottom ledge that the mirror sits on is missing 3/4 of the ledge; the missing piece measures 1 1/2 X 17. Up for your consideration is an antique Victorian style Eastlake entry hall mirror measuring 26 3/4" tall x 17" wide. Beautiful light colored engraved accents around mirror as usual on Eastland pieces. It is marked on the back 13 x22 in black. I don't know what this means. It has the antique wood patina as you can see and tiny flat head nails. As you can see there is some wear to wood color and a crack on the right side going down and there is some silver loss on the bottom. The wood can be easily stained and wood split re-glued as the crack is very thin. Other than what I have mentioned. I find nothing else wrong. If nice a original period piece. Eastlake Victorian Mirror--Original 19th C Handcarved Walnut--Ornate--BEAUTIFUL!
This is an astonishing ornate Eastlake Victorian mirror from the 19th century. It is in all original condition. The condition being very very good. The glass mirror itself has no blackening. It has a couple minor scratches. The glass is framed with a plaster and gold guilt surrounding. There is some of the plaster showing through. This can easily be restored if you don't like the patina. The wood is different shadings of walnut and is decoratively carved with various markings. The pillars on either side seem to have a varnish on them and some of the varnish is coming off. This you can see in the last picture. The back is all solid original wood with an old wire hanger. The mirror as a whole measures 24 X 46 inches and is heavy and sturdy. This is a very nice pair of Victorian period bolts that would be used to secure a mirror to a frame on a chest of drawers. They have the wooden washers or stops still attached. The ends are solid brass or bronze and are 1 1/2" wide on the ends and the bolts are 4" long overall with the iron threaded section being 2 1/2" long. This auction is for the best mirror I have ever came across. When I first saw it I thought it was a later reproduction as the front was in such nice shape. But then I turned it around and could not believe my eyes, the patina, the age, and then a decal that reads a patent date of 1880's. It is a large mirror. It measures approx. 48 1/4 inches tall 27 1/4 inches wide and would come off the wall 4 3/4 inches. All measurements to furthest points. Would look great in a hallway or foyer. The decal reads This Backboard patent applied for 1880, pat applied for 1883, pat applied for 1883 Deuther MFG. I would say it is in the Eastlake style. What I am still a bit confused by is when the front had it finish put on it. This piece is in great used condition(see photos) This antique shaving cupboard belonged to my grandparents and was well taken care of. We are in the middle of a remodel. I believe the wood used is oak, but I am not a furniture dealer so I will not claim to be 100% sure of this. Antique Eastlake Victorian Walnut Carved Mirror Shelf
I had this previously listed. However, when I went to pack it up, I noticed damage on the left side next to the mirror. The transaction was cancelled, so here we have it again. It is in the last picture. This is a gorgeous old mirror shelf. I would guess it was for the bedroom, but not sure. It is all in good shape, measures 19 inches tall and 14.5 inches wide. I would guess the mirror to be replaced. It has a lovely design, a great eastlake piece. I would guess it to be from the late 1800's or so. See my other auctions. Circa 1800s. Combination display shelf and beveled mirror(add antique hooks makes it also a coat rack! Guaranteed Victorian piece. Outside, recessed panels match and are tiger oak. They have classic, Eastlake, caved leafy flowers. The middle recessed panel holds the original beveled mirror. There are contoured brackets to the left and right of mirror that lead down to pawn finials. The brackets support a small display shelf with a spindle rail below. Selling one beautiful Eastlake style hall/ foyer/ entrance pier mirror with built in marble shelf that we bought about 10 years ago from that antique store that used to be on Park Ave South next to Calvary Church in Manhattan. Victorian period. Probably c. 1880. Paid $1,000. for it. Then we had it restored by Carlton House Restoration in LIC. Which is the best of the best. Restoration cost $1.000. Original finish intact. Infill painting around the mirror. Mirror replaced with the one you see here that has a bevel. New marble shelf cut to fit and profiled nicely. 87" high. 27" wide, 9" deep at shelf. This item is in excellent condition with no missing or broken parts. It has a beautiful hand craved pediment on top with a double towel bar. It is made from solid wood. No veneer and it is nice and tight with no loose joints. The mirror is in good condition, but is not original to the piece. It measures 14" high, 19 1/2" wide and 4 1/4" deep. Antique Victorian Ebonized Eastlake Wall Dressing Mirror
This is a charming original turn-of-the-century antique Eastlake wall mirror with peaks on both sides. A curved top, carved lines, dots, and floral details, and some ebonizing around the inner edge of the frame and on bands across the top and bottom of each side. The solid wood frame is in good/very good condition with minor wear to the finish(light scuffs, scratches, and a few tiny chips) All corners are tight, and nothing is broken or missing, but there is a crack on the decorative peak on the upper right corner(along the bottom edge of the peak) However, it is mainly cosmetic and has not weakened the frame in any way. There are also two small screw hoes on the curved top piece. I don't know what they were for because it doesn't look like anything elase was attached. The glass is original and a little unusual because it has a slightly ... morebluish hue. It is in good condition as well. But there is some silver loss and spottiness along the bottom edge(shown close-up in the photos) The remainder of the mirror has some very light cloudiness, but it not very noticeable. The outer dimensions of the mirror are about 19" W x 30 1/2" H. It will be packed securely. Double boxed, and insured during shipping.

ONE OF A KIND Victorian Eastlake Walnut Carved Wall Mirror With Folding Doors
Hi folks. OK. So tell me where you have EVER seen a mirror so beautiful? This listing is for this one of a kind mirror, which, to be honest, we don't care if it sells or not! I just picked the real beauty out of a great local estate up in the attic. The amazing thing to me here is that there is NO damage to be found! Usually I always seem to find a break in the carvings somewhere. Not here! Even the mirror itself is perfect with no scratches to be found in the silver. I will tell you this mirror had about an inch of dust all over. I quickly rubbed it down, but my pics may show more. I find it and sell it. You clean it. You will need a good stud in your wall as this is heavy. I'm guessing an easy 50 pounds. I just put the two hangers on back so at least that's done for you. It measures a whopping 32" X 53" It measures ... moreapprox 1 1/8" thick. Very solid. Doors and hinges in excellent working condition. It appears the outter frame is all pegged. You simply will maybe never see anything Like this again. I am placing a buy it now on this basing it on size, rarity, design, and appeal. Its a sure beauty. Antique Vtg Victorian Eastlake Candle Holder Shaving Mirror Shelf Wall Pocket
This is a fantastic antique shaving mirror with candle holders on either side and a wall pocket/shelf underneath with decorative brass rings. It is in very good condition(there is a crack in the back panel over the mirror. Shown in the photos) but it is sturdy, solid, well-built, and perfectly useable, and the original finish is fantastic with a rich, darkened, aged patina. It is constructed primarily with square nails, and the wood was all hand-cut. The mirror is a replacement and there is are new strips of wood and nails around the mirror in the back. The shelf measures 12" L x 3" W x 17 1/2" H. It will be packed very well and insured during shipping.
