It's a really old triptysh used for shaving. Everything is original on this metal framed folding mirror, including a rare handle built on and very well fix ed. On the back of each mirror there's a lincrusta paper who look like leather. It's an art nouveau decoration with an embossed Lincrusta floral motif. However there's a color variation on each of the embossed coverings. Up for bids is a very rustic Victorian mirror. It consists of a picture framed mirror with a varnished lithograph on the backside all attached to a cast iron Art Nouveau style handle. Some wear on the varnish of the lithograph. But no loss. Frame corners and connection to handle could use tightening. There is loss of some of the gilding on handle and frame. This auction is for an antique mirror. It is oval in shape and measures approx. 25 by 31 inches. It has a gold liner and the frame has been painted black. There is some nice detail on the frame. I am uncertain of the age but can tell it is much older. Also quite heavy. There is some minor wear to the frame as can be scene in the photos. Thanks for looking. The mirror is perfect rectangle. I had to take the pictures angled due to the reflection. This is a nice sturdy heavy mirror. I would recommend a wall anchor when mounting on a wall.

Has a beveled glass mirror which has some silver separation lines on the silvering on the back side. Looks like you can hang it on a wall due to the loop on the back near the top. Came from a womans house who was 102 year old and that was 5 years ago. I dont believe it to be silver plated but I could be wrong. A great art deco goth piece. I cannot believe to many of these still exist today. Size is 15" long by 6 1/2" wide. Weights almost 2 pounds before boxing it up. Sold as is with no returns. So ask any question you have before buying or bidding otherwise all sales are final. It is graded on its appearance only. It was not tested and has no warranty.

Blaesius No.28. on the back top right. The metal is brass or bronze. Back features a circle hoop so it can be hung on the wall. Or leg extends out to be held in place by a chain so it can also stand up. The bolt at the top of the leg does appear to be newer. No fractures or cracks.excellent antique condition. The beveled mirror is held in place with gilt brackets. It rests upon a gilt base that is shaped like a sturdy vine from which large roses and leaves grow along the base and up the side of the mirror. Antique Victorian Art Nouveau Beveled Glass Vanity Dresser Mirror Ornate Footed
Here you have the chance to own a beautiful old mirror. This was made to sit on a dresser or vanity. The glass is beveled and has some scratches. But is still in nice condition. There are a few, very small, spots in the mirror. There are a few"foggy" places primarily around the edges. I do see some light crazing in the silver as well, but nothing I would be concerned about. Not sure what kind metal this is. I would definitely describe the ornate feet as Art Nouveau. The metal has a very nice patina. I will leave any detailed cleaning to the buyer to do as they wish.
