The top penny is bright and the bottom penny is more tarnished. The screws are more yellow than the pennies but more red than typical brass I've seen(maybe because of the patina? The screws have a pleasant, even patina, but will polish brighter if cleaned. Measurements appear to be#8. Refer to the drawing photo for the dimensions: Head Diameter A = 0.310" +/ 005 Basic Diameter D = 0.161" Length L = 1.50" 15 Threads per inch These are old government surplus, NSN 5305-01-015-0653. The pick-up system is the Fishman PreSys Blend which has a piezo under-saddle pick-up and a condenser mic fitted to the preamp. They can be blended to give a variety of sounds. Up for your consideration is. Rare Vintage Signet Acoustic Dreadnought guitar from Selmer. made in japan. Rosewood back& sides, It looks like all solid woods guitar. Check the picture#4 you can see the nice grains of the back wood. but the final judge is you. Sounds huge. Rich& Full Tone and looks gorgeous! gold tuners. All-original, early 1970's. the action is high as it goes up the neck. probably a neck reset would be best. Vihuela Renaissance Guitar Baroque Solid Woods Instrument
For sale is a wonderful vihuela in‘G’ scale length 59.5 cm) made by Luciano Faria. The instrument was made in 2005 and is in absolutely pristine condition. The workmanship is at a very high level with great attention to detail evident in the construction and the sound. The sound is truly magical. This fine instrument has a perfectly grained Spruce top with quarter-sawn. Old-growth, Brazilian Rosewood for the back and sides, Ebony pegs and fingerboard with a Mahogany neck. The top has a traditional wax finish and the back and sides are French-polished. Alvarez md 90 masterworks series All solid woods indian rosewood Englemann
The Good: Solid Indian Rosewood Body. Solid Englemann Spruce top, Abalone inlays, beautiful sound, beautiful instrument. Plays like butter action is about 1/8" at the 12th. The Bad: Repaired crack in the upper waist of the body. slightly wallowed out hole for one of the bridge pins. A couple of dings and dents(one in the top lower waist and some impressions in the top) I bought it as a second with the crack repaired(rosewood scrap glued on the inside) and although it looks bad it has been stable since. I think most of it is in the clear coat itself(See pics) Guitar ships in worn but functional HSC as pictured in the auction. Check the pics. Check my feedback and bid with confidence. Antique Gondolier Parlor Guitar c1910 Restored and Ready 2 Play! Solid Woods EC!
This listing is for a n antique parlor guitar(c1910) I recent ly restored and set up for a friend. When I was finished. She very generously donated it to our ebay fundraising table. It wasn't in too bad shape when I received it, but I re-set the neck, repaired the bridge and a small shrinkage crack in the center of the back, and replaced the tuners, nut, and bridge pins. The neck is nice and flat, and the thin an tique fret wire is in very good condition. The action at the twelfth fret is only 2mm. Making this instrument very easy to play- excellent for olde time finger-style picking! The finish is worn, and certainly reflects its 100 plus years of age. Early 1980's Memphis Guitar Solid Woods Matsumoku MIJ? MIK?
This is a cool guitar from the late 70's or early 80's. I'm not sure if this was made by Matsumoku in Japan or in Korea. In my research. Most claim that this model was indeed Matsumoku, but I don't want to mislead anyone. Any info would be appreciated. It is made well with solid woods(looks like walnut and maple) full size pots, and Bill Lawrence type pickups. The electronics work great, as they should with a three way pickup switch and a phase switch. I'm pretty sure this guitar is all original, it looks like nothing has been changed. The bridge pickup ring is cracked. The maple neck is nice and beefy and is 1 11/16" at the nut. The nut and position markers are brass. If it is indeed walnut, it's fairly light at 8 pounds 1 ounce. June Acoustic Guitar Custom D18 Style Solid Figured Woods Waverly Tuners
For sale: One custom made D18 style acoustic guitar made by June guitars. It is hard to find info on these guitars. But it is my understanding that this guitar was made to be like the pre war D18s. It is made of all solid wood. The spruce on top has very nice figuring, as does the solid mahogany on the sides and back. The guitar is very light. I did have a luthier work on the guitar because I did not like the string spacing. The bass E was too close to the edge of the fretboard. It is still a bit closer than normal, but is playable without problems on every fret. He also set the action to"medium" for me. There is a big ding on the corner of the headstock of the guitar(there is a close up picture) other than that it is in very good shape. Has Waverly tuners. FS: 2003 Tacoma PR12 Parlor/00 size guitar. All solid woods.made in the USA. Spruce top& indian rosewood back& sides. Abalone soundhole rosette& fretboard markers. Minor fret wear.barely noticeable on B string.top frets. Plays/sounds very good. Nice clarity/resonance. Has a few nicks on top but again barely noticeable. Has a faint partial outline where pickguard used to be. Top binding has a rough edge/feel in spots. Top is a gloss nfinish.back& sides are satin/matte. Finish problems are very minor on this guitar. Some light bubbling at binding in spots. Some flecks in back/sides. Head stock has a few flecks& a small amount of bubbling around a couple of tuning keys. Bone nut& saddle. Action looks to be around 3/32"s@ 12th fret.maybe a tad higher but very comfortable to play. Vintage J Pettit Parlor Acoustic Guitar for Repair Solid Woods Appears US Made
Auction Find. What appears to be an US(Chicago? Made Parlor Guitar in need of repair. Hard to see but appears to be marked'J Pettit' First, the Good: Top appears to be stained spruce and is fairly sound with 2 Minor tight cracks. Interestingly enough the sides of the box appear sound with no cracks, just some loose glue joints. Nice inlay design of contrasting wood in addition to the purfling around the box. Slotted Headstock. Straight Neck. Tuners should be fine, needs one button replaced. Looks like original saddle, poorly re glued. The BAD: CRACKS GALORE on the back, open and needing either repair or a total replacement. This part appears to be Oak! Worn fretboard, 1 missing fret. Odd make do repair with a small metal rod running from the heel to near the strap button on the lower box. Can see in last photo) At least the neck has ... morenot really pulled away from the box. Many loose places needing re glued on top, back and sides. Is about 36 inches overall, with a 8 3/4 inch upper and 12 1/2 inch lower bout, has a deep V profile neck. Auction Find. What appears to be an US Handmade Hammered Dulcimer. 11/12 course, I think. NEEDS WORK. One side pin block has splits in the wood that need either repairs or total replacement and there are several joints that require re gluing to make whole. Appears to be all solid woods and hand made. This dulcimer was made in the U.S. in April of 1977. 36 years has aged this instrument well. Wood has opened up and sounds unbelievable. One owner closet classic. Abalone inlays at the sound holes,border trim around the edges and striping through the back and headstock. Made by a master luthier. Labeled inside with signature and date that looks to read K. Vintage 1960s Harmony H-162 All-Solid-Woods Acoustic Guitar (Made in America)
Up for auction is a late 1960s Harmony H-162 concert sized acoustic guitar. This beautiful instrument features a solid spruce top. Solid mahogany back and sides, and a Brazilian rosewood fretboard and bridge. The original celluloid binding is completely intact and in amazing condition(which is usually a major problem with these guitars. It has all its original hardware and is in great condition. There are no structural problems with the guitar. The finish is crazing, there are a few nicks and dings, and there is one small stable indentation near the end-pin- but besides that, the guitar is overall very good cosmetically for its age. The action is high and the guitar needs a setup and adjustments to be fully playable- which I believe is possible because these later 60s model have adjustable truss rods. However, I am not a luthier and have ... morenot tried to adjust the neck so I am only speculating. I included a picture of the string height, so you can be the judge of what work it needs. These guitars are considered by many players as"the poor man's Martin, because they were made with the same materials as the small body Martins, except were sold at an affordable price. Now after fifty years have past, these old guitars have aged like Martins! I have also been running the guitar through a ToneRite as well, to wake up the wood. It really booms and sounds wonderful! All Solid Woods 1978 APPEARS NEW! Spruce Top Indian Rosewood back and sides Hello and thank you for looking at this auction. I purchased this guitar because I hear such wonderful things about the Takamine H irade guitars. I now know why. I am sorry to sell this guitar but when I measure from the nut to the saddle I get 26" This is a little longer than I am used to. But the action is so low that it is still very easy to play. I have showed the action measurement so you can see for yourself. I get 3 on the low e and 2.75 on the high e. Additionally I always see that Takamine's are 51 mm nuts but I measure 52 mm on this one. I would guess that no one ever played this guitar but it sounds too good for that to be the case. This hardcase is very special as well. It even has a small humidif ier inside. Also stored in the pocket is the original ... morehang tag and Takamine cloth. The only thing wrong with this entire set up is the case strap that keeps the top of the case open is breaking away so the top open s wider than normal. Additionally I ha ve looked very hard for any marks but do not see any. There is a chance ther e could be something very small but nothing that can be photographed or can be seen easily. I'm quite sure if you try this guitar you will not return it but you can if you so desire. I do ask that you return the guitar in the same condition as when shipped and that you fully insure the guitar as I will do when shipping it out. 19 76 Regal/ Harmony Flat Top A really cool piece of history. Unlike many of the reproductions. This is a US made Regal grade Harmony guitar constructed of all solid woods. Shows no play wear, with the only wear being from where the case rubbed on the guitar. Plays well with an action height of 6/64" bass side. 5/64" treble at the body joint with no fret buzz from the nice straight neck. 1 11/ 1 6" nut width. 25 1/8" scale. Body has a 15 1/8" lower bout, 11 5/8" upper bout, a 19 1/8" overall length and is 3 3/4" deep. Nice solid neck joint. Will be shipped in what appears to be an original ch ipboard case. At the time I tried contacting the builder to order a brand new guitar but it was going to be very expensive. I ended up returning th is guitar to Guita r Center since they have a 30 day return policy. The size just wa s not appropri ate for me. This past weekend I was at an estate sale and on the table was the exact guitar. I couldn't believe it. It is easily recognizable because the guitar has wear on the top and to prevent any further wear tap plates were installed. The estate of the late Henry/Hank Grant(Henry would not fit on the Marquis in Vegas. So it got ... morechanged to Hank) was best known as the roving reporter for famous"Hollywood Reporter" newspaper. His daily radio program was transmitted out of his home for years. I just had to purchase th is guitar AGAIN. It's brazilian ros ewood and sounds an d p lays great. It has wear but nothing structural is w rong with the guitar. I was so excited to play but after an hour or two the top of my left hand was in pain. So I am selling or'returning' once again. Upon measurement I see that the nut is 54 mm. I'm 5' tall with small hands so sadly I just can no t keep this guitar. I also measure 25 and 3/4" from the nut to the sa ddle. Not too long but with that width it would not be good for me. Goetz Upright Bass Body, all solid woods, no laminates,needs new neck installed

Without neck. the factory brand is shown in picture 5 which also shows the unbroken tongue for the neck heel.It had been sold as a model#552(as stated on the label) and has a solid spruce top with solid maple back& sides. Aside from a couple small saddle cracks( which have been glued) The body appears in reasonably good shape, and the only major repairs I can see in the instrument is a bass bar crack in the top. Which has been nicely repaired, although does not appear to be cleated on the inside. as shown in the pics there is an area of the top that needs to be glued back to the rim along one of the lower front bouts. Kentucky Mandolin All Solid Woods KM 505 & Case Very Good Must L@@K!!!!!!!
This is for a very good condition Circa 2006 Kentucky KM 505 A style mandolin. All solid woods. Spruce top and figured maple back. Sides and neck. Nice low action and radiused fretboard. This one has nice clear tone, new Elixer strings, bone nut and adjustable saddle. Has a straight neck and minimal fret wear if any. Beautiful inlay on the headstock. Some small scratches here and there but not many. Nice tobacco stain on the top and the rest of the mandolin. Hate to sell this one but I can't keep them all. Has a nice warm tone. The case is in pretty good condition as well. It is a Travellite Case with a humidistat or hygrometer in it. I have been selling on Ebay for 13 + years and have 100% feedback. Check it out. Johnson Mandolin ca. 2001 All Solid Woods
All solid woods. Spruce top; maple back sides and neck. Nice natural finish and nice flame figure in the maple. Set up with custom one-piece bridge(probably maple) and custom tailpiece. There is a slight imperfection on the back where the two pieces of wood join. It is not a crack and has not changed since 2001. You might not even notice it. But I’ve pointed it out with an arrow in one of the photos. Looks and sounds great and has very strong volume. If you are looking for an inexpensive bluegrass instrument, here it is. It has been kept under proper humidity and other conditions all its life, and needs to get out and be played. It has some very minor dings and scratches from ordinary use but is otherwise in excellent condition and ready to play. The action is low and fret wear is minor. Comes with a gig bag. Here's a sweet little mandolin. A 1940's/50's? Harmony Monterey in good clean condition. Harmony mandos from this era are made from solid woods and are well-built examples of USA instrument-making. This one is in fine shape with the only noticeable flaw being the slight seperation of the top at the heel end. Original case in beautiful shape(with some tape on the inside compartment lid) cloud" tailpiece and pickguard. Not sure about the tuners, they may be replacements. Kenneth Smith Driver, 4, 5 woods, virtually new-never played-solid persimmon!
THANKS FOR LOOKING! I know we hear the words"rare" vintage" collectible" etc. tossed around a lot on eBay, and I am guilty of it myself. But in this case, they might really be apply to these 3 beautiful classic woods. For your consideration I have a never played. Virtually new 3-wood set of Kenneth Smith"demo" woods that I got from a closed shop(Top 100) in West Los Angeles a few years ago. Having said that, it is not unusual to find Kenneth Smith woods all over the place. the difference here is that these are solid persimmon, and because they were in the shop as"demo" clubs which people could test to determine their custom order, these are NOT custom and have no owner's name on the bottom. They are standard, standard, standard in every respect. As they were in the shop for demo purposes. The bottoms ... moreof the driver and 5 woods both appear to have been hit a few times(what would you expect of demos? yet there is no facial marking or bruising that I can detect. I suspect that, as in some golf shops the faces were taped for protection before being hit, yet the bottoms were not. However, it appears that only the polymer( coating was scuffed up a bit. I cannot tell for sure. The 4 wood is flawless and unmarked, appearing as though it was never hit. Another thing I cannot explain is that while the 4& 5 woods have"Kenneth Smith" grips. The driver does not, though it was replaced with a similar Golf Pride(classic) Victory grip, like the others but without the KS branding. I have to assume that was changed in the shop for some reason. You can see the grips in the photos. Other than the driver grip, these clubs are all original, NOT refinished but virtually NEW. This is a great player's guitar! Three day'Buy it Now' opportunity This is the last time I will list this on eBay Description: Offered is a rare Goya/Levin circa 1963 acoustic guitar. I believe this guitar is an early example after the Goya/Levin merger. The label has been torn out. My research. Coupled with the kind input from a fellow eBayer, indicates this is a model LS-16(note: the model LS-18 is the same guitar with maple back and sides) 000 Grand Concert size. Solid spruce top. X-Braced. Solid mahogany back and sides. Mahogany neck. Bound rosewood(Brazilian? finger board with MOP inlays and dot side position markers. Bone nut and saddle. Tortoise pick guard. Scale length is 24-3/4" String height at 12th fret is 3.5mm for E6. And 3.0mm for E1. The bone saddle is at minimum height. The bridge would need to be shaved, ... moreand the saddle slot deepened to lower the action. The intonation is acceptable at the 12th fret. I think it's set up good for aggressive play. Lower bout is 15-1/8" width. Fantastic tone and volume. Tight bass, rich mids, and sparkling highs. No case. I will pack for safe transport, and fully insured. I will email additional photos upon request. Condition: Used. Heavy pick wear around sound hole. And at far edge of pick guard. Long, old repaired ~16" crack on treble side. There is an unrepaired crack, ~3" on either side of butt end strap button. 1 ~5" tight top crack upper treble bout: edge to p/g. Missing ~2-1/2" of binding at the bass end of the finger board. Minor fret and finger board wear: frets 1 to 5. Missing tuning machine bushings for the D and b strings. Finish checking consistent wit the guitar's age. There is one finish crack, ~3" long on the back, lower bass side. I don't think it extends deep into the wood, if at all. Also, there is a ~1.5" crack on the back edge of the lower treble bout. Although I think it goes into the wood, it seems tight and stable. Relatively minor dings and scratches throughout. Replaced vintage

Beautiful Kremona Orpheus Valley Rondo RS Classical Guitar- All Solid Wood- Made in 2010. Old-world European quality. Handmade in a small factory in Kremona. Bulgaria, where they have been making instruments since 1924. Top is gorgeous looking and sounding European Spruce. It has very tight grain and wonderful silking throughout. There are several very slight blemishes on this guitar. One is a small ding in the purfing on the side of the bass bout. Lower right. It is cosmetic only and does not effect anything. The other is a scratch in the finish only on the back of the guitar. This is about 3" long and probably caused when someone uncrated the guitar. Again, it is cosmetic only. There is very, very small finish scratches on the sides at the widest point of the bouts. Looks to be caused by wrapping the guitar a little too tightly for shipment. There are several photos of the sides of the guitar and these slight imperfections are quite hard to see. If I did not point them out, they would go un-noticed. I believe in 100% buyer satisfaction so that's why I mention them. There are no cracks, repairs or other issues with this guitar. The frets and fingerboard show no wear. Tuners are high quality& fine. The strings are new D'Addario Pro Arte EJ46C- Hard Tension. These strings have a composite G string that reduces the jump in sound from the D to the G.
