The plate looks to be at the beginning of the Qianlong period, possibly even from the earlier Kangxi period, since it still is painted with traditional Chinese designs and with the celadon color, but the scalloped edges and arrangement of the designs suggest the European, specifically Dutch influence, which were to become much more pronounced later in the century with the Chinese export porcelain. 9.25ʺW × 1ʺD × 9.25ʺH. Some rim nibbles/small glaze chips and a 1/4" chip, 2 hairlines, and a glaze line visible only on the back (see photos).

This is a VINTAGE RETRO MORROR SCALLOPED EDGES WITH YELLOW ROSES IN THE MIDDLE. This measures 26 cm wide x 30 cm. It has a hanger on the back. There is only one very small chip o the scallop edge on the bottom. This is in very good condition. It would be great in any collection. MOST HAVE BEEN COLLECTED BY MYSELF OVER THE YEARS. Etched Flowered ART DECO MIRROR 100 years old at least with that age old charm of the character flaws that WE ALL LOVE and that ads to IT'S CHARM! in this OLD MIRRORED glass! 22" Tall x 16" Wide x less than 1/4" inch thick Oval Curved Centered Top with 10 1/2" Centered Etched Work of a Centered Flower Face with set of 4 leaves on either side. Small Vintage Art Deco Era Beveled Glass Mirror Scalloped Edge Bald Eagle on Top
Small Vintage Art Deco Era Beveled Glass Mirror Scalloped Edge Bald Eagle on Top Here is a beautiful small wall mirror. Adorned with an Amercian Bald Eagle on top, it has the fluted or scalloped(whichever you call it) beveled glass perimeter that is oh-so-early-deco. The base of the mirror is made from wood, and you can see that the eagle, as well as the fancy decoration are applied to the wood. I cannot tell if they are also made of wood, or if they are some other material like gesso- the finish doesn't have enough wear to see underneath. It's in excellent solid and sturdy structural condition. These old scalloped mirrors are so hard to find in good condition. When I run my fingers around the edge, I can just feel some very light rough spots on the pointed edges of the scallop- not even big enough to call chips, though, you have ... moreto feel for them to know they are there. The mirror reflects very well. It has very minor scratching that can be seen, and you can see the small black spots of silver loss around the two tacks in the mirror- there's a number of small ones- see photo 5. They are really hard to see in my photo of the bottom one, but it's very similar to what you see in photo 5. They do not impact the reflection, though, and I just think they give the mirror the charcter of its age. The gold finish is in really nice shape- I do not think that it is original. I'm showing in photo 15 that there's some white paint that can be seen on the back- I don't think that's under the gold, though, it appears to be on top. I'm showing in photo 11 just how thick the glass of the mirror is- you can see it takes on a green hue from the side. There's spots where the gold paint is up on the side of the mirror, too- but not on the front, and it doesn't interfere with the reflection. There's minor paint ware and scratching, really really minor on the front, with a little more on the back but still minor too. There's a loop on the top for hanging- you are good to hang with this
