Vintage Vanity Set This is how I found this lovely set displayed on a dressing table at an estate sale. The framed mirror with children pictured is near perfect. The mirror tray with the Victorian Lady has some wear and a little loss to the silvering on the mirror. There is light discoloration, the picture of the lady is very good. Dispite age and wear this is nice. I think the aging it gives it character. I am guessing this to be from the 1930's or 40's? The tools are metal with minor wear to the goldtone. The tools are a shoe horn, tweezers,file and nail cleaner. The comb is plastic with goldtone metal trim. No missing teeth. It has an area on the bottom right that needs repairing where the seem has come away(see pictures) also will need the glass replaced, it was my Step Fathers who is 80 he got it from his mom, he said it is from the 1920-1930's. I am not sure what the wood is. It was marked Walnut. But I do not know enough to say for sure. I did put this against CHerry in photo 1 and against Oak in photo 7. So you can see the difference. Very Pretty. The back has some water stains on the bottom. Nothing major. The frame is in Great Shape, but does show some age. Nicks and dings ans some scratches. The gilding is near perfect and the overall condition is excellent. One small spot of roughness to the gilding on one corner(see photos) Does not detract at all. The backside is the great traditional florentine paper that you see on most of these small mirrors. The hanging loop is missing but it would be very easy to add a wire and hang either direction. I think it's either Art Deco or that Egyptian Revival they did in the 1930's. I believe the age to be in the 30's. It's gilded gold with that blue pattern. The print is original and Unknown. You could change the picture if you had someone do it. You lift the lid and there's a mirror with gild and that blue pattern. this thing isn't small. Measures 16.5W X 12 inches and is 2 1/2 inches high and 1 1/2 inches deep. I think this is made for keepsakes but then again you got the mirror. It's in great condition.

Antique Arts 1800's Tri Fold Vanity Makeup Mirror Shaving Vintage Victorian Nice
Here is a beautiful antique tri-fold mirror with heavy beveled glass. French style Ormolu decorations of raised applied corners. Beaded and rope design on front and back of frame. The hinges are excellent and it closes with no problems, the glass is very nice for its age with just a little light spotting, the metal gold tone frame has discolorations from age, there are two small dents in the frame, one on the right panel top, the other on the bottom of the middle panel, very small but I think you can see it in one of the photos. There is one Ormolu corner missing. The chain is discolored and one of the mirror brackets to hold the chain is slightly bent. I'm not positive but i think the backs of the panels are leather, two are textured and one is smoother, maybe just the two outside ones are leather and the middle not, I just don't ... moreknow for sure. The mirror measures 22 1/4" by 10 1/4" laying flat, folded up it is approx. 10 1/4" by 7 1/4" It weighs 4.6 lbs. From what I could find out it is from the late 1800's. Up for auction is an oak beveled mirror with carving. It is in very nice condition. Possibly off a dresser but not sure. The mirror has some age marks with some fine scratches on the glass. There are a few small spots on the mercury backing of the glass but still in great condition for its age. It measures 30" high, width across the top is 21 5/8" 20 3/4" at the bottom. NICE Antique Vintage Octagonal Frameless Beveled Floral Etched Wall Mirror
This is a fantastic vintage frameless octagon-shaped wall mirror with beveled edge and crystal clear border with etched and silver filled floral pattern all the way around. The condition is very good with some minor damage from age and use. There are absolutely no cracks or large chips. But there are a few tiny flakes of silver and glass missing from the corners and edges, and some of the silver along the outer border and in the flower etchings is slightly spotty and darkened from age. The silver middle of the mirror is excellent with very little to no missing silver, cloudiness, or spottiness. There is a wooden panel and hanging wire attached to the back. There is a Band-Aid over one of the screws, put there by a previous owner in an effort to protect the wall. The other two screws are sticking out a little. Beautiful Antique Barbola Mirror W/ Gesso Flowers VINTAGE NICE ENGLISH BARBOLA
Beautiful Antique Barbola Mirror. Has some small dots of silvering missing at the bottom. Also has a few tiny"whitest" spots on the mirror. But none of this takes away from it's beauty. I'm mentioning everything, but remember this is a vintage item and as such may display signs of use and wear. Looking at the mirror, on the left side, there is a small area where the silver is missing. All flowers appear to be in excellent condition, except one pedal is missing on the white flower, looking at the mirror, to the left. see photo#3) There are a few normal stress cracks on the top between a few of the flowers. Stands on pedestal and has 2 small bunt feet. Measures approx. 12" high and approx. 10 3/4" widest point of flowers. Mirror is double beveled with approx. a 10" diameter. 12" round Mirror Plateau footed , This is vintage, nice for its age
This is a round 12" mirror Plateau. It it vintage. It is still pretty. The foot around the bottom was brass I believe. It is a dark color now and looks fine. There are a few scratches on the mirror, but not bad. Items displayed on this look so nice. It is heavy! I pack well, I ship FAST, Happy to answer any questions.
