Antique Vintage Mirror Round Corners Signed on Back 14.5 by 18.5" Painted Wood
This old mirror came from an auction in Vermont. The glass doesn't appear old. But the frame does. The mirror measures 18 1/2" high and 14 1/2" wide. It has some dings, some scratches and some wear. I am not sure if the gold trim has been touched up or if this was the way it was originally. The mirror is loose at the top, it could use two more nails to hold it secure. The top back is signed Mrs. Goodwell maybe, it's hard to make out.

The double-bevel mirror is framed by intricate metal leaf and curved designs. And has a round easy-to-hold handle. The mirror is clear, although the photo picked up surrounding browns. The mirror is tin backed. It has imperfections in the upper right near the frame. At the top back of the frame is the distinctive B& H embossed mark, assuring quality. Description This is a Gorgeous Large Antique Wall mirror with 3 beveled edge& beautifully etched glass mirror panels. Set in a wood frame with two-toned decoration in gold& silver paint. This was acquired from an estate in overall very good condition with all the signs of use/wear you would expect for it's age ie: surface cracks. Paint loss, etc in the wood frame. However. I will note there are some areas where pieces of the decorated wood/gesso? is either missing or loose(see pics) and one of the rosette nails is missing on the one mirror panel at the bottom, should be a fairly easy fix. The loose or small missing pieces shown in the pics are just the decorative part of the mirror. They are not a supportive part. The wood frame itself is nice and strong, with no looseness detected. I will note that the missing rosette nail hasn't ... moreaffected the mirror from being hung as it had been hanging on the previous owners wall for many years with it missing. If it were me I would place another rosette nail there/or museum paste/glue to hold the mirror. Nice vintage teak mid-century modern Danish or Swedish signed hand or hanging wall mirror by Ake Wijkstrom. It is a beautiful vintage mirror with a nice leather strap for hanging; unfortunately the strap is broken and would need to be replaced. The mirror measures just under 1/2" at thickest(neck) and around the mirror portion. It is approx. 13" to longest length from strap point down to bottom. It is also approx. just under 8 and 1/2" at bottom length portion. The condition for its age is nice no issues with the teak wood. Splits, hairlines or repairs. As mentioned the leather strap can be replaced if so desired and there is some minor staining to very edges of mirror as pictured. Exceptional Signed Antique Brass Girandole Dolphin Mirror Candle Holders Sconces
Wow. where to begin. this is meant to be an identical pair and fantastic dolphin mirrors like these have been on eBay before and have no shortage of admirers! I have never seen one with the enamel rings/collars survive! I was so tempted to use"RARE" in my title but that has to be the most overly used and abused word on eBay and I just cannot bring myself to say it. But these rings truly are. I wish that both sets survived. The son of the estate informed me that they broke when he was a child. So sad! But the pair that survived are in beautiful condition, with no cracks, chips or repairs. And, like many aspects of these mirrors, they are NOT identical! The two mirrors are signed by 2 different artists and there are very subtle differences in their interpretations of the design. I have included a few pictures that illustrates this, ... morebut you will need to look closely! Some differences are merely etching where the other has none. And the rings are likely made by different artists as well. One is ever so slightly larger in diameter and one has a bottom with a screw hole in it where the other does not. This one is also numbered. The beveled glass is not perfect but it is original and there are no cracks or chips. If you already own one of these mirrors and question whether or not yours once had the enamel rings. Simply look at the brass drip plate and there might be an outer ridge where the ring once fit. Additionally, there should be a top plate as well, also ridged to fit the ring. It is square on this example, and this would be the true drip plate. Naturally the long screws would need to be cut down to fit the sconce without the rings. These sconces are 23.5" tall tip to top and about 8" at the widest point. the mirrors are 3.3/4"x 12" They are in excellent antique condition. The spotting on the mirrors only enhancing their original beauty. These weigh about 3 pounds each and the rings/collars will be wrapped and boxed separately within the main box for shipping. Rare Large One Of A Kind 3 D Art Sculptured Cherub Angel Mirror Signed Fusion
This gorgeous one of a kind sculptured 3D mirror that is absolutely beautiful. This was left to me by my mother many years ago. Unfortunetly I have had some un-foreseen exspenses and need to sell. I am guessing this is over 30 years old. the story I know on the mirror is. That this was exspecially made for a cooperate office in New york or Califorina. I am not sure of what its made of but it does have some weight but not enough to be ceramic. To heavy for a mache. I have had this hanging in my living room for 10 years plus. The aprox total size of the sculpture is 52" long by 38" wide and a depth of 9" The mirror itself is 28x15. The mirror is in perfect shape but has few minor flaws on sculpture. 1 angel has a chip in the chin(see pic) The back has the word Fusion in the material. This is a antique white with goldtone accents ... morethroughout. This would look beautiful in a big foyer. If anyone has any info on this please feel free to email me. Blaesius No.28. on the back top right. The metal is brass or bronze. Back features a circle hoop so it can be hung on the wall. Or leg extends out to be held in place by a chain so it can also stand up. The bolt at the top of the leg does appear to be newer. No fractures or cracks.excellent antique condition. Antique Vtg Mirror Signed Large Oval Gold Gilt Gesso Shell Design Mirror Ornate
This large oval mirror came from an auction in Vermont. The auction invoice calls it"guilt shell decorated oval mirror. It weighs about 9 pounds. It measures 31 3/4" high by 21 1/2" wide. The mirror is a little loose. The mirror has a few wear spots. The gesso on the frame has 4 chips and cracks here and there all the way around. There are some marks on the border. The back is signed Cohlnner. Maybe, it's hard to make out, see the 11th picture.

All are brass plated(the candle holders may be solid brass) The mirror frame is brass plated cast iron. With the"B& H" mark embossed at the top in addition to"S502" There is a tin backing covering the back of the double bevel mirror. The brass-plated cast iron 1 3/4 inch wide frame has a series of highly styalized designs with cut-outs. On top is a crest supporting a flame fountain with dolphins on both sides; the design on the two sconces is equally complex but different. Beautiful Federal style mirror. Wood appears to be walnut. Dark aged finish. Crown is adorned with acorn-shaped finials. Two separate mirrors. A name has been signed across the back. It is difficult to read but the last name looks like"Raymond. From an estate which was loaded with early antiques. Very rare and unusual mirror. Piece is 24 1/2 inches tall and 12 1/8 inches wide at the bottom and 14 3/4 inches wide at the top. Top mirror is 6 1/2 inches tall and 8 1/2 inches wide. This listing is for a FRENCH Chatelaine Miniature Hand mirror. This has a beautiful hand painted ... moreporcelain KPM type plaque. Signed by the artist, but it is not hard to read, but looks like either Gejer, or Geyer? The painting is stunning, beautiful young woman on the back, the coloring is exquisite. The painting is in nice condition, but has two fine scratches, one going across the left side of her face, the other is curving up on her left shoulder. I have close ups of these, so please view pictures. Note that close ups make it look far worse than it is, hardly noticeable to the naked eye) The metal on this is ornate. With a Cherub, Putti on each side of the finial, and also one on each side of the bracket that holds the ring on the bottom of handle. The metal is tarnished, darkened, will leave any cleaning to new owner. This mirror measures about 8.5" not counting the ring. Not sure what the ring was used for, if it was made to hand from chain on your neck, Or on a Chatelaine? Possibly just to hang when not in use. It has its original beveled mirror, which is in really nice condition considering it is well over 100 years old. I has minor surface scratches, but still good reflection, please see pictures. This listing is for a FRENCH signed Limoges Hand mirror. The mirror has a domed. Convex porcelain ... moredisk, plaque that had a Grecian themed portrait Semi Nude, exposed breast Maiden, Goddesses Dancing, and a Cherub, Putti playing a Harp. The image is in good condition, but has a few light scratches. This is consistent with age and use. This mirror is over 100 years old. The border is a dark green, with hand painted raised gilt scroll decoration. There are a few spots where the raised enamel decoration has come off exposing the white porcelain. This could be easily touched up with a bit of gold paint, or even a metallic marker. The mirror has a silver plating over brass, the silver is worn in a few spots. But for the most part, it has a wonderful soft silver finish. The rim around the mirror has a few dents, again, consistent with age and use. I have replaced the mirror in this, with a new, quality beveled mirror much like it had when it was new. Please note the Limoges mark in picture, I took photo when I had it apart to put mirror in. Antique Vanity mirror Opollo studios Ormolu hand painted signed lady 1900-1940
Offered is a"Apollo" studio vanity dresser set. Apollo studio was a company that made items for the elite in New York. I believe this mirror was made in the 1890s- 1920s. This item is guided brass filigree medallions on the center of the top of the mirror. The mirror is original and has some minoring spotting. And is missing the handle. but is otherwise functional. It has a signed image of a Gibson Girl in the center. She is quite fancy and wealthy looking lie the people who would have purchased this item back in the day. I am starting this auction at a fair price and there is no reserve. All items are sold as is so please ask questions prior to bidding.
