It's very heavy and beautifully carved with tusks up the legs and around the top, and the legs resemble trunks. It isn't flawless and has wear from age and use including a chip at the top of one of the legs as shown in pictures 8, 9, and 11. There are some red stains, perhaps can be removed but we didn't try in order not to compromise the finish on the wood; I noticed them when looking close. The most noticeable spot of red can be seen by zooming in on picture 7. Although it's in good condition, you might want to glue and tighten up some of the seams. It is 17-1/2" in height x 13" across the top x 16" across the legs. It weighs a glorious 19 lbs. Vtg Carved Fancy Mirror With Matching Wall Shelve and Marble Top
Hello. And if any one out there knows anything about this mirror, please don't hesitate to let me know some info. I have been moving this mirror with me for the past 20 years and i know nothing about it. It has( 690) on the back of it and that's all the numbers i can find on it. It belonged to an old friend of mine who lived in an old railroad house in safety harbor florida. I got it from her back in the late 90's. It is very nice to have hanging in your house and you can paint it any color you want. It has been painted a few times, so i do not know what the original color is. It is top heavy and of course the marble is heavy that goes on the bottom half of the mirror. The top and bottom are not connected and are hung with older hardware as you can see in the pictures. The top portion has wires that double cross to each other ... morefor added support. the very bottom shelf does have a little part broken off but still looks great on the wall. the top half is 45" high and 24" across and 1 1/2" thick. The bottom is 14 1/2" tall and 10" wide and 2" thick. The marble is 25 1/2 wide and come out on the shelve 10 1/2" and is 1/2 thick. Not sure if it can be shipped but if you want it shipped you can hire someone to come and pick it up.
