Mighty Oak' set on a charming antique single panel glass window. Please note that because of lighting this piece cannot be truly appreciated in a photo. I have used both glass tiles and ceramic tiles in blues, greens and browns, and white, with a light charcoal gray grout. There are small imperfections in some of the glass pieces simply due to the process of hand cutting the glass. I've put a single coat of white paint on the frame, otherwise it's in its original weathered state. The window itself measures 31-1/8" wide and 28" high(not including the hardware at the top) II have also put a wooden backing on the reverse side for reinforcement because ... moreof the weight. This Sale is for a Beautifully Designed Dressing Mirror For the top of a Dresser Original Silvered Mirror Drawer With Knob of Bone and Ebony Dove Tail Detail The base measures 19" by 12" by 4 1/4" high. From bottom of base to top of curved supports for mirror is 25" Mirror measures 15" by 17" including frame. Frame has mitered corners. Drawer is lined with original dark red paper lining and slides beautifully. There is a lovely molding detail around the front and sides of the top of the base which adds to the appeal of this simple line design. Patina is original and shows beautifully the grain of the wood. There is a split in the wood top behind the stands which hold the mirror. It runs the entire length of the piece and is straight with the grain of the wood. Because of it's location. It does not detract ... morefrom the overall beauty of the piece. There is another split in the wood approximately 5" long originating from the base of the right stand which holds the mirror. This split is less noticable, but none the less part of the condition of the piece. The original mirror has a few spots of wear which is consistent with the age of the piece. There is no marking anywhere on the piece indicating origin, maker or age, but this item has been in our family since the 1950's when my Mother had an antique shop and was frequenting New Orleans on buying trips. Up for auction is this lovely antique mirror. It is made of wood and gesso with a beautiful. Delicate rose bud pattern. We added paper to the back to protect the glass and keep dirt particals out. Has a wonderful depth with a thickness of 2 3/4" Measures approx. 30" x 21" A tiny bit of gold loss but really in great condition for its age. This antique, fragile item needs to be shipped insured. Found in France at an antiques shop. A charming Victorian vanity/table mirror ~ beveled oval mirror. Ornate floral and leaves design. Easel on the backside. A few specks on the mirror but does not take away from the overall beauty! Oval mirror measures 5.25 inches by 4 inches. Overall, mirror measures 11 inches tall and 8 inches wide across the center. Gorgeous solid cherry antique mirror Circa 1840 I restore fine antiques and reclaimed this from a chest of drawers which had candle stands and this mirror The mirror glass is a new I love the ball finials atop the frame. The groove details and the patina is superb I did some restoration of the frame edges. There were pieces of wood missing where there were original mirror brackets. I restored the edges of the frame with inlaid pieces of wood. One inlay is 1"x 1/2" The other side inlay is 4 1/2"x 1/2" This will look beautiful anywhere.perhaps an entryway over a table. In your bathroom, over a bedroom dresser, at the end of a hallway Not perfect. Not new& definitely not a reproduction.just a charming little mirror about 175 years old I guarantee you will never find anything like this in a retail store Installation details.I ... morewill install mounting brackets and a wire on the back of the frame. I will also include 2 wall hanging brackets. It should install very easily in any wall(except cement walls)you will just need a hammer and a good eye or a level to place the 2 brackets level on the wall All the best.
