Beautiful antique or vintage gold gilted wooden frame with early George Inness print This frame is really nice and in fairly good condition for age. I'm not sure how to best describe the design. So am showing lots of pictures. The frame margin is approxl 1 1/2" wide. The frame measures approx. 15" wide and 11" tall. There are a couple of small areas of missing gilt, including upper right corner, but could easily be repaired. The frame has nice old glass. The print in the frame is called"Peace and Plenty" by George Inness. A beautiful picture of a harvest scene. This It is marked on the back of the frame. VINTAGE VICTORIAN COUPLE DOG GARDEN PRINT WOOD GOLD GILTED? PICTURE FRAME. THIS IS A GREAT VICTORIAN PRINT OF A COUPLE IN A GARDEN WITH THEIR DOG. DONE IN NICE PASTEL COLORS WITH THE MATTE IN A PINK. THE BEST PART OF THIS PICTURE IS THE FRAME. IT IS A STURDY WOOD FRAME. IT HAS AN APPLIED GOLD METAL ON IT. AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE CORNERS EACH BOARD WAS DONE INDIVIDUALLY BECAUSE NONE OF THE CORNERS MATCH UP. I THINK THAT IS WHAT MAKES THIS FRAME SO UNIQUE. Condition of the frame is very good overall. Molding very good, and there are some minor chips in the gold gilt in three corners, not distracting and could be easily camoflaged or repaired. Antique Photograph of a young Soldier under glass with mat. His belt buckle looks Union with an additional oval brass plate with the letter B for Company. His kepi has the brass hat plate of the cross rifles. He has a knife tucked away at his waist side. I believe he is also wearing a shell jacket. Possibly late CW or Indian Wars. The antique Gold Gilt picture frame shows wear from age. On the larger size measuring 16-7/8" tall. 14-3/4" wide and 2" deep. Frame has the old wood plank backing and old hanging wire. Antique 1850-1900 Victorian /w bubble convex glass gold wood & gilted frame
Offered for auction is a Victorian. Bubble convex glass, gold wood and blue and rose colored flower gesso picture frame. The frame measures approx. 18" x x 12" the glass measures 15x 9" This frame considering it's age is in excellent condition,it dose have gold paint loss on both edges, that could easily be repainted.
