It measures 17 1/2" x 13 1/2" with a mirror that measures 7 3/4" x 9 3/4" The beveled mirror shows quite a few age spots and has some rough edges behind the framing. It's the original mirror I believe. The easel stand has a small little loop broken off the very end(photo 6) There are no broken areas on the frame itself. Victorian 1891-1911 National Brass &Iron Works United States Mirror Angels Gold
This is a Victorian gold gilt embossed. Cast iron, easel-back mirror made by the National Brass& Iron Works Company, which operated in Reading, PA from 1891-1911. The angels at the top are kissing and each side is adorned with standing angels or cherubs. It is marked on the back NB& IW along with the number 2000(model number) It measures approximately 9 3/4” high x 10 1/4” wide and has a 4” long swivel arm. This is a beautiful Victorian piece. The mirror is clear and the gold gilding is good. Please see pictures, including up close shots. It may have had an original velvet back at one time, I don't know; this is the way I found it. This heavy. Solid Antique 1800's Ornate French Table or Boudoir Mirror is in excellent condition. The original mirror is in great condition with no cracks, chips, damage, black or dull spots to the mirror. I have shown several pictures so you can get a good look at the mirror. Any specks on the mirror in the pictures are dust and are not permanent marks on the mirror. The heavy ornate gold stand is also in great condition with no damage. It still has the original green felt backing and original clips holding the mirror in place. The stand is very solid and holds the mirror securely on a dresser, dressing table or desk. It is embossed with the numbers 08576 on the bottom edge of the stand. It is very heavy and solid. This mirror has been stored in a dresser drawer for well over 40 years, until it was recently discovered, and was rarely ... moreused. I was told it was from the 1800's. It is approximately 2 inches tall and 9 inches wide. I am not positive how to describe this mirror. I am not sure if it is considered French Bronze or something else.
