Beautiful antique or vintage gold gilted wooden frame with early George Inness print This frame is really nice and in fairly good condition for age. I'm not sure how to best describe the design. So am showing lots of pictures. The frame margin is approxl 1 1/2" wide. The frame measures approx. 15" wide and 11" tall. There are a couple of small areas of missing gilt, including upper right corner, but could easily be repaired. The frame has nice old glass. The print in the frame is called"Peace and Plenty" by George Inness. A beautiful picture of a harvest scene. This It is marked on the back of the frame. Tintype of Civil War Union Infantryman w/Full Uniform-Quarter Plate-Gilted Frame
This quarter-plate size tintype bears the image of a very young(probably the typical age of many young recruits- 18-25) Union infantryman. He is wearing his full uniform. And his"US" buckle and infantry"hunting" horn on his hat are clearly visible to the unaided eye. One can see some props, including part of a building and what appears to be a large staircase with a couple of children descending it, in the background. The heavily gilted brass frame is covered in floral designs. There is some kind of white matter on the image, but it could possibly be removed by someone who knows what they are doing. Very nice condition probably french 1800s based on the on the motif. This frame is very large and is fitted currently with a still life, fruit, done in oil wood, if that tells you something.The frame came from an estate of a women, who spared no expense. Antique 1850-1900 Victorian /w bubble convex glass gold wood & gilted frame
Offered for auction is a Victorian. Bubble convex glass, gold wood and blue and rose colored flower gesso picture frame. The frame measures approx. 18" x x 12" the glass measures 15x 9" This frame considering it's age is in excellent condition,it dose have gold paint loss on both edges, that could easily be repainted. The bubble glass is also in excellent condition. I currently have other antique frames listed if would care to take a look. I will be happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases.
