There is a separation in the gesso(and this could be an over-lay of carved wood rather than gesso- can't tell for sure as the finish is adhering quite well and this separation does not weaken or compromise the integrity of the mirror- it's still retains its strength) The mirror, when seen from the bottom looking up, is a bit wavy. It may be and probably is the original mirror. As can be seen on the back there was moisture on the finish piece and the mirror is not affected by this. The wire on the back is doubled and old. but looks like it will serve its intended purpose for some time to come.

But most people just want the frame. Outside dimensions are 20x24" and inside is 15 1/2 x 19 1/2" could take a slightly larger image inside, that is gilt to gilt measurement. PLEASE SEE MY PHOTOS.
