This is a gorgeous. Opulent wall mirror. The frame is black and old gold and is ornately decorated. It seems to be high quality and the guy I bought it from said it came from a VERY nice estate in Malibu. I have no idea of the age of the piece, but it looks great and it comes ready wired for hanging with heavy duty fixings(in portrait orientation, but no doubt you can get it changed to landscape, if you wish) It is a good size 33 by 20 1/2 inches and the mirror is 25.5 by 13 inches. The mirror has a beveled edge and is in good condition. Here we offer for sale a beautiful Vintage Mirrored Plateau.Beautifully decorated with gilded Roses at both ends. This piece is from 1970s or after we believe. It is a fancy framed mirror for displaying valuables& display items where you need a mirror underneath. Originally designed for the Vanity or Bathroom area. The bottom has a dark felt backing. Many times used on dresser& vanity tops. Also on Sideboards for large vases and bowls. Gives things a lift up off the surface and a mirrored reflection. We have put some items from other Ebay listings on the mirror for decoration. The mirror measures 17" long. From rose to rose, by 10 1/2" wide. The mirror appears to have a heavy white metal frame. But we cannot be sure, as it has a"gilded" finish. The finish on the mirror is very good and does not seem to show any ... morewear. The felt on the back is very nice and again ready to put right on a display area. The molded floral edge is very nice& very Art Nouveau looking. It has an antique patina and really looks exquisite. ANTIQUE Victorian Mirror with Gilded Cast Iron Frame - SHAMROCK # 143 ~ 1800'S
High detailed 3-leaf Shamrocks on the perimeter of an oval beveled mirror. Scrolls and beading design on the inside perimeter. The back has an easel arm to display the mirror. The frame is in Great condition. The mirror has wear– where the clips were there is wear and silver is missing on the back– on the bottom is a larger spot where silver has crackled and is missing. The mirror has chipping around the perimeter. I added a light cardboard frame on the back to prevent further silver damage. Original clips and screws on the back to hold the cardboard and the mirror in place. The back has an impressed“143” at the top. Measures approximately 12” x 8 1/4” With the ease out– it is approximately 4” depth. Quality decorative antique mirror– weighs approximate 2 ¼ lbs.
