The form is lovely and the decoration is classy. This item dates back to around the 1950's and is in very nice vintage condition. Some age appropriate chips to gold leaf on the outside edge of frame as to be expected but this does not take away from the beauty of this piece. Vintage Wood Mirror Chic French Blue Distressed Shabby Country Beach Cottage
This is a beautiful heavy solid wood mirror. I believe it is around 50-60 years old. It has a nice little detail around the inner part of the wood. It was originally a tan stain and I painted it a French blue chalk paint and the distressed it so you can see the natural wood in some places and the light stain color as well.I then sealed it with clear paste wax. It is very distressed for a primitive look. If you are looking to add a pretty French blue to your decor this will be the perfect addition! PLEASE NOTE: There are a couple flecks in the mirror. SIZE: 25" X 21" Due to it being fragile I will ship it in an oversize box. This will cause the cost of shipping to increase. Sweet & Unique Shabby Elegant French Country Style Vintage Shell Mirror
Up for auction is a lovely little vintage shell mirror. It is made out of wood and painted white. It has a fantastic pattern etched into the actual mirror surface that is a silvery/white color. I mean etched as in the design is inlaid within the silver of the mirror. It is smooth and inside the mirror. I have tried to capture that in the photo properly. It's a very subtle and unique detail. There are some minor rust/age spots that I have also included photos of; they actually just add to the character of the piece. The mirror is 18" in diameter. Is about 1" thick, and weighs 5.6 pounds. It is in wonderful vintage condition, but is an old item and as such is not perfect. There is a hole at the very center top for hanging. Please ask me any questions before bidding! This is an Antique early 1900's Mirror with a gorgeous picture of an old Cottage and a pond scene in the for front. There is a mirror on the lower half. With the picture on the top. It is solid, but shows a little wear consistent with its age and use. There are spots of finish loss on the decorative wooden frame, and spots of fogging on the mirror. The back paper cover has a picture of a dog with the words: Barking Dog Good& Mild Cigarettes Barking Dog Cigarettes. The picture is in very nice condition with no signs of damage. This was a great estate find! Unfortunately. I do not know the exact date of the piece, but it's a nicely made solid wooden mirror with nice curved top and finial. This lovely piece has some normal signs of wear from usage and age, such as nicks/small chips, as shown in the pictures. The mirror is in nice condition, no cracks or breaks. Please examine the pictures carefully, as you will get the exact mirror pictured! It measures approximately 19 1/4" wide across by 32" high. The exposed area of the mirror is 15 1/8" W x 23 3/8" H. Antique French Country Gold wall mirror: classic gold painted wood post 1940
This exquisite mirror is victorian in style and is made of gilded wood. I think it is from the 1900-1940 and is in excellent condition. It is very ornate and measures 23" by 28 1/2" It is rare and so is hard to duplicate but definitely has that French country look. The carving is exquisite.
