Antique Barbola roses mirror with bow from around the 1920's. Lovely large size. Perfect really, at 22" tall by 21 1/4" wide. Gorgeous. Ornate detail with muted gold shimmery patina on the frame. Barbola roses. Rose leaves with a large bow on the top. Roses along the sides with sweeping leaf motif flowing between blooms. In fine condition except for one small missing edge. see 2nd to last picture) Does not show much. But it not perfect. The frame is made of wood- solid and firm. Ready to hang on wall on solid. Safe, but original wires. All the barbola and roses are intact. The true age of this fabulous mirror is obvious from the back- 1920's probably. And even maybe earlier in the Victorian era. Vintage Wood Mirror Chic French Blue Distressed Shabby Country Beach Cottage
This is a beautiful heavy solid wood mirror. I believe it is around 50-60 years old. It has a nice little detail around the inner part of the wood. It was originally a tan stain and I painted it a French blue chalk paint and the distressed it so you can see the natural wood in some places and the light stain color as well.I then sealed it with clear paste wax. It is very distressed for a primitive look. If you are looking to add a pretty French blue to your decor this will be the perfect addition! PLEASE NOTE: There are a couple flecks in the mirror. Offered is this gorgeous antique wall mirror! Features a distressed/chippy off white paint. Two generous rose swags, ornate topper, arched top, wood frame and a wire on back for easy wall mounting. Measures about 27.5" tall and 14" wide. This is a very old mirror that has amazing character but is not perfect. There are a couple of areas in the gesso that looks like it has been repaired and some cracking on the back side of the rose swags but those aren't seen or go all the way through to the front. The mirror has some slightly rough edges and has some silvering loss in areas/streaking on the mirror but is to be expected with a mirror of this age. Vntg French Vanilla Barbola Wreath Bow Trumeau Mirror Romantic Paris Chic Print
Vintage French Decorated Style Trumeau Mirror with such elegance ~ wood frame is painted in the original lovely Vanilla Cream paint and trimmed in dark gilt around the lower mirror section as well as the framed picture area ~ the barbola trim is a thick acanthus or wheat vine elevated and whisping out all around the circular picture opening and my favorite part is the gilded barbola ribbon tied with a center bow at the top of this beautiful trumeau ~ the print is lovely of a typical romantic fragonard type scene with mademoiselle with her beau but please note that even though it is beautiful particularly in this frame. It is still a print and not a painting ~ there are two tiny areas where some of the acanthus vine has minimally chipped but easily covered with a small amount of gilt pen and the print appears to have a small amount of bunching ... moreto one far side but barely noticeable ~ there is a sturdy wire on the back for hanging ~ the background finish has some wear and lines from the years but no large chips or paint loss and really has a great vintage patina! Measures 58.5 inches tall by 30 inches at widest area ~ the print opening is approximately 14.25 inchesround ~ the mirror exposed measures 28.5" by 22.75" I can arrange for a private transporter to deliver to you if you do not have someone or if you cannot arrange for pickup. Shabby VINTAGE Angel CHERUB Vanity SWIVEL Standing MIRROR French LOUIS Chic OLD
Offered is this pretty vintage swivel mirror! Features an ornate"carved" design. Cherub/angels and swivel mirror with stand. Measures 7.25" tall and 5.25" wide. I believe it is made of brass but I am not certain. This is an older mirror which is very nice but does have a couple of small flaws. There is a tiny chip on the edge of the mirror just above the cherubs head on the left side of the mirror. It isn't distracting and was difficult to get it to show up in photos. There is also a little bit of spotting on the mirror due to age but it still gives a nice reflection(look at the last two photos) Nothing big to mention. The mirror measures about 10" long, and is about 5.75" across. There a few very minor dents on the metal rim around the porcelain. All consistent and normal for a item well over 100 years old.
