Antique Victorian Tilting Vanity Mirror, Ornate Floral Metal Frame
This is a gorgeous old Victorian tilting mirror in a larger size. 19” tall, 12” wide. The frame on this is all flowers and Acanthus leaves with a large ornate foot. The metal has an aged patina and the back has an old time worn and stained cover. There are no chips or cracks to the mirror but it is starting to freckle and shows age. This displays beautifully and would be an asset to any Victorian room. The items that I sell are the items I love. Flower pot at the top and also etched in the mirror. The top of this frame is the urn and it has been repaired. When we purchased this my husband couldn't believe the bad attempt to repair it so my husband took it apart and repaired it the right way. So from the front it's hard to tell it was ever broken off. This is about 37 1/2" tall and 19 1/2" wide(22" at the widest point) but the actual inside measurement would be 27 1/2" x 17 1/2" Both measurments are from the top of the arch to the bottom. Antique Old Art Nouveau Deco Period Floral Picture Mirror Wood Frame Flowers Urn
A nice old vintage Wood and Gesso ornate picture mirror frame. It is in good condition with some signs of wear and some losses to the applied decorations. It is marked by the maker with a metal tag on the reverse side for Narcissus Mirrors. This large mirror measures 3 feet 1 inch high and 1 foot 11 inches wide. The inner opening measures 2 feet 6 inches high and 1 foot 6 inches wide. It has a nice look like that of the frames on Maxfield Parrish Prints from the Art Deco Nouveau periods. It measures 18 inches wide and 18 inches tall. The gesso shows some loss and chipping in a few places but that is to be expected on a mirror this age. The mirror itself is not perfect due to age. It has a red velvet lining on the inside of the mirror that really sets it off. You almost never find mirrors like this anymore. It is a great antique piece to add to your home. This is a large. Antique wall mirror with three separate panels of glass in a gold wooden frame with gesso accents. The two end mirrors have floral patterns etched into the back. The frame looks re-painted, but the paint is relatively old and looks darkened from age. One of the corners has some chips missing(shown in the photos) but the remainder of the frame is complete with very little paint or gesso loss although there were a few tiny paint chips that have been touched up. The glass looks very good with some light streakiness and a couple dark spots from age, but they are not cloudy and images are clear throughout. There are no chips or cracks in the glass. There are two eye hooks and an old wire on the back for wall hanging. The outer dimensions of the frame are 58 1/2" L x 15 1/2" H. It measures 21 1/2 x 21 1/2 ins. is in fair as is vintage condition with surface wear/scrapes to the paint finish but still very sturdy.The mirror looks to be original, I have not taken the back off to double-check but it shows age. The flowers on the surround are morning glories and they are pink. White, and a blue/lavender color. Part of the frame is not painted, which is common with this style. It is heavy. A very fine antique. Circa 1880's, Aesthetic Movement square floral pierced brass wall frame with round mirror. Marked only: patent applied for(probably made by Bradley& Hubbard. See similar florals of B&H sconce pg. 34 in: Brass Menagerie. It measures 17-3/4" square, and hangs as a diamond, the mirror 10-1/4" diameter. Excellent condition: without dents or breaks, the surface has old polish residue, with mild patina. The mirror glass is undamaged, most minor very edge glass backing speckling.

Here we offer for sale a beautiful Antique Mirrored Plateau. This piece is from 1900 or before we believe. It is a fancy framed mirror for displaying valuables& display items where you need a mirror underneath. Many times used on dresser& vanity tops. Also on Sideboards for large vases and bowls. Gives things a lift up off the surface and a mirrored reflection. The mirror appears to have a brass frame. But we cannot be sure. It has a worn"gilded" finish. The outside metal ring does have some give or bend to it ever so slightly. A magnet will not stick to the edge. But it does on the bottom. Many other metals will not bend and that is why from its weight and look that it may be brass. The mirrored plateau measures 13 1/4" at the footed bottom and 11 1/2" at the top mirror. VINTAGE MIRROR Acquired at an estate sale is this vintage wood& gesso mirror. Appears to have been a stand-up mirror at one time and now it is a wall mirror. Overall the frame measures 12 ½ inches tall. 10 ¼ inches wide and ¾ of 1 inch thick. The frame ring edge is about 1 ¼ inches thick. The mirror measures 9 ¼ inches by 7 ¼ inches. It appears to have been repainted the current green color. There is a picture wire mounted on the back that is solid& secure. The mirror has some aging spots. Lines and marks. The mirror is a little loose in the frame but is securely in place by the backing that is screwed to the frame. The frame does have some cracks– but the frame is solid and intact. Offering a vintage gold gilt wood frame Trumeau wall mirror with a lovely painting of flowers in an art deco style vase. I purchased this in a Mom& Pop'Antique Shop' about 20 years ago. It had a little hang tag simply stating"antique" I am no authority but do not believe it is antique. I do believe it may be a mid-century item though. Just my opinion. The shop owners said they added brown paper backing and new hangers themselves. There are still a few nails poking through the paper. I have obviously not removed the paper backing so do not know if it might be signed. The frame is wood and is ornate and I think it is gessoed. It is in excellent used condition with only a minor flaw to paint in a few spots here and the crosspiece has flaked painted gesso at left of photo. Nothing objectionable to detract from the beauty ... moreof the piece. The overall size of frame is 33 1/8" tall x 14" wide and 1 3/8" thick. The mirror is approximately 20 3/8" long x 9 1/2" wide with a bevel of about 5/8" and is in perfect condition. The picture is a hand painted floral. It is also 9 1/2" wide and is 7 3/8" tall. I believe the tiny white spot to left of flowers may be a paint flake off. Not totally sure but fairly certain. And it appears to have light scratching on a green leaf nearby. See photos. A beautiful piece all in all. Please have reasonable expectations for any items listed as vintage. Used, antique or pre-owned. Obvious flaws will be noted and pictured to the best of my ability. Vanity Mirror Plateau Sculptured Gilded Roses Frame~20th C.~Fine Floral molding~
Here we offer for sale a beautiful Vintage Mirrored Plateau.Beautifully decorated with gilded Roses at both ends. This piece is from 1970s or after we believe. It is a fancy framed mirror for displaying valuables& display items where you need a mirror underneath. Originally designed for the Vanity or Bathroom area. The bottom has a dark felt backing. Many times used on dresser& vanity tops. Also on Sideboards for large vases and bowls. Gives things a lift up off the surface and a mirrored reflection. We have put some items from other Ebay listings on the mirror for decoration. The mirror measures 17" long. From rose to rose, by 10 1/2" wide. The mirror appears to have a heavy white metal frame. But we cannot be sure, as it has a"gilded" finish. The finish on the mirror is very good and does not seem to show any ... morewear. The felt on the back is very nice and again ready to put right on a display area. The molded floral edge is very nice& very Art Nouveau looking. It has an antique patina and really looks exquisite. ANTIQUE ART DECO GLASS MIRROR BRASS BUTTONS ORNATE FLORAL DESIGN WOOD BACK Etched glass mirror glass mirror that is 19 3/4 inches long by 10 1/4 inches. There is a metal overlay on the wood backing on parts of this mirror which is almost silver like him composition however I can't be sure it is or isn't silver. The buttons which hold the mirror and place our affixed to the wood backing and are made of brass. This is an interesting antique piece and for its age is still in relatively good condition. It may need some restoration however it is being sold as is as shown. Thank you for your interest.
