This antique swivel mirror is made of cast iron and/or cast brass and contains its original beveled glass mirror insert. Although it's difficult to make out all the words. I'm sure that the back is marked with the words"Verlag bei E. G. Zimmermann Hanau" My assistant has just pointed out that there is actually a diacritical mark over the"m" and the"n" rather than doubled consonants, so maybe this will help to date the piece for those more knowledgeable than I am. I don't see any numbers, so I'm guessing that this may date to pre-1850, but this is based on information I culled from other listings, etc. so please do your own research if this is important to you. This definitely dates to the 19th century and was made at the foundry of E. G. Zimmermann in Hanau, Germany. The mirror has no cracks. ... moreAlthough there is age-related damage to the silvering, as well as an approximately 3/4" scratch near the top and a tiny chip on the bevel edge of the mirror near the top. My sharp-eyed assistant noticed when photographing the mirror that one of the back feet doesn't sit quite flush with the tabletop. I've owned this for a year or so without ever noticing this. The entire frame measures 12&3/4" tall x 8&3/4" wide. And the base is 4&3/4" deep. This has a lovely patina of age with some verdigris to the finish. Scrolling feather and a floral wreath run up the pedestal with a garland of flowers trailing up the sides of the stand frame. Old Antique Brass Steampunk Industrial Swivel Mirror
The mounting bracket is marked. E. Meyer, Sniffen Co. Ltd. N.Y. The glass has no chips. There are a few light scatches and some discolor so the mirror is not perfect and does look old. There is no flaking in the silver or black spots. The brass has some scratches and wear. You will have to find your own mounting screws. The mirror measues 13" by 10" From the edge of the mirror to the edge of the bracket is 17" It's fairly big and weighs almost 7 pounds.

This is a solid brass wall mounted accordion style double sided mirror. Closed it measures 6 inches long by 13 1/2 inches tall. It extends out to 26 inches. It needs to be polished but I thought I would leave it as is so the buyer could see what they are getting. The mirror itself is 7 inches diameter and 1/2 inch thick. Double sided it has 2 different magnifications. They is a small chip where the mirror meets the frame but almost unnoticeable. The accordion scissor part move well but is not too loose.
