It has heavy patina on the ... moreback of both brass trays. There is patina around all of the sides of the brass and in spots on the carved scenes. The wooden stand is in very good condition. It has some patina on the metal hinges. One of the legs has a missing supporting piece(about a 1 inch long little piece of wood) This piece can use some heavy cleaning. This table would have supported a lamp. This lamp is not included. Pleasingly solid brass trays are supported by a folding base to produce a two tier table. The piece is suitable both for permanent location or as on occasional table. When in folded position the table assumes very little space and can be slid under a sofa or such; in addition the gorgeous solid trays may be used on their own for serving and display purposes. The base is a six leg folding design with dragons head carvings to the upper. The trays display wonderful scense with floral and foliate detailing to the perimeter and a central engraving featuring oriental characters in traditional dress. Overall this peice of furniture is in good condition and will make a great addition to any setting. 20" tall approximately 17" width 10" wide lower tray 14" wide upper tray We are a non-profit store and this was a donation. We are fairly certain this is not a reproduction piece and is truly from the 1930's. We do not know much about this piece except for a previous Ebay listing of a very similar item that sold in the UK in Sept. 2012. Antique gold or gilt painted cast iron easel framed mirror. It measures 17 1/2" x 13 1/2" with a mirror that measures 7 3/4" x 9 3/4" The beveled mirror shows quite a few age spots and has some rough edges behind the framing. It's the original mirror I believe. The easel stand has a small little loop broken off the very end(photo 6) There are no broken areas on the frame itself. VTG BRASS STANDING MIRROR
Up for your consideration is a standing dresser mirror. I am presuming that it is indeed an antique as the mirror needs to be re-silvered or replaced. The frame measures 15" X 11" at the center. Photo 4 shows there is an attached leg that comes out at an angle for the mirror to stand alone. The mirror is held to the frame with 6 screwed in attachments. The back of the mirror has been painted brass. On the bottom. The initials of B B M Co. are written in the brass. Ornate Brass? Mirror Accented with Cherubs-Free Standing- Estate Find
Ornately designed free standing mirror which appears to be brass. No markings. But beautifully done. Since this is an item from an estate I can not say it's age or maker. I was told it is a vintage piece. It stands 22" high and 12" wide. Very detailed in it's design. The cherub at the top is attached with a screw as a separate piece. And has a bit of play which can be remedied by tightening the screw I imagine. The mirror fits in with small holders similar to how a picture is fitted to a frame. It has a few small black dots and a line showing wear to the back of the mirror. Easily replaced. Beautiful vintage design. ORNATE TABLE MIRROR Antique Brass colored ornate Table Mirror. In wonderful vintage condition, no cracks or repairs evident! There is a casting# on the left side of the back of the frame which is 08939, there are also 3 X marks on the bottom also on the left side. The couple that asked me to sell these for them stated they were from the early 1900s. Thats all I know about this piece. It weighs 1 pound 14.7 ounces. The mirror is held upright by a swiveling arm on the back. Frame measures 8 1/2" wide and stands 11 1/4" tall the arm that swings out is 3 1/2" long. Brass Free Standing Vintage Beveled Mirror in Asian Fan Shape
Ornately decorated fan shaped mirror. Free standing. The mirror has beveled edges and the brass fan shaped frame has a"kick" stand. This item was in some estate items. There appear to be some very tiny marks along the back edge of the frame which I can not see-it looks as if they are numbers. Very tiny and there might be a small stamped mark in another area of the back frame. It is impossible to get these to show up in the photos. The mirror is in excellent condition. And the frame shows normal patina and soil from age. There are a few white spots on the brass-almost look like someone tried to clean it and the cleaner is still in the grooves, and a few could be paint specks. It is a heavy piece. Measuring 10" high and 16" wide at it's widest point, the mirror is really lovely. I am happy to combine shipping
