This is a beautiful shabby primitive mirror produced by Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company. There is a stamp on the back that says the Manufacturer name and underneath that is the date. March 1921. Beautiful ornate detail on the top of the frame. There is a surface crack in the paint and or wood. This piece is sturdy and does not appear to be anywhere near a breaking point. The mirror has beveled. Straight lines. The mirror is quite shabby. The frame is in the same shabby condition. Measurements of the frame: 33" tall x 16.75" wide. The mirror itself measures 27" tall x 16.75" wide. The backside hanging wire appears to be a replacement. Half of the back cover is missing and there is a tear on this same cover towards the bottom. The nails holding the mirror in place are all present and intact. Here's a pretty little antique tri fold mirror I recently found at an estate sale. It is in very nice shape. It is 19.5 inches tall. The Center mirror is 15" wide and the two side mirrors are just over 7.5" a piece. Folded. It is 3/4 inch thick. Nice original brass hardware and screws. Mirror and glass is in great shape with no flaking or chips. Minor scratches in the paint of the frame. Excellent find. This looks like wood but I'm thinking it is metal. An Antique Shaving Mirror c.1880 Primitive Wall Box From Lancaster County. PA. Mustard Grain Paint DESCRIPTION Such a charming old shaving mirror. A wonderful Country Primitive with original mustard grain paint. We found this locally in Lancaster County. This is from the late 19th century. Circa 1880's or earlier. The upper portion has a lovely deep scalloped overhang all the way around the top and sides of the mirror frame. There is a little shelf under the mirror and a deep slant lid lift top box. The base repeats the deep scalloped shape along the bottom front and the sides of the box. Condition: Lapped and nailed construction. Made of pine, it shows good age with little nicks and scrapes to the surface. All very strong and stable. Vintage Antique Mirror Chic French Blue Chalk Paint Distressed Shabby Primitive
This is a beautiful heavy solid wood mirror. I believe it is around 50-60 years old. It has a nice little detail around the inner part of the wood. It was originally a tan stain and I painted it a French blue chalk paint and the distressed it so you can see the natural wood in some places and the light stain color as well.I then sealed it with clear paste wax. It is very distressed for a primitive look. If you are looking to add a pretty French blue to your decor this will be the perfect addition! PLEASE NOTE: There are a couple flecks in the mirror. Beautiful Rustic Primitive Antique Saving Mirror On Wire Wireware Easel Stand Now here's one that you don't see every day! It's a beautiful antiwue shaving mirror in its original wireware stand. The mirror has a scalloped beveled edge- it is very old. As you can see. It's mounted onto the stand in turned to a diamond shape, although the mirror is actually 6" square. On the stand, it is 8 3/4" tall. It weighs 1 1/2 lbs. The stand reaches up and grips it with two wire fingers at the top, and hugs it in a divot at the legs at the bottom- it's very sturdy, and does not move at all inside the stand, even when I tried to force it. There's a brown paper board backing that looks to be original. It is peeling off a little at two of the corners, but is still well attached to the back. The mirros has lots of lines of ... moresilver loss that I did my best to have you see in the photos. It was hard to get them because the mirror actually has a really nice reflection around these lines- so it's still quite useable. In additon to that, there's small chips to the scalloped edge all the way around- on the edge, and very tiny and really hards to see because of the design of the bevel. They are also very consistent with the glass of similar style that I have sold of this age. Please see my close ups. There's no large chips or cracks- no major structural issues at all. From the side, the 3/8" thick glass takes on a green hue. The tin wire has a gorgeous age darkened patina that is so dark and old- it just works with this primitive oldee. Early Antique Eastlake Mirror - Primitive Folk Piece All Original
This very old. Antique Eastlake mirror dates from the 1860's to the 1880's and measures 14" x 25.75" As I am not a furniture expert I had this mirror looked at by a third party that deals in antique furniture and was told that everything appears original including the glass and stain. Primitive Antique Wall Mount Shaving Mirror With 3 Hanging Hooks Beveled Mirror Here's a nice old mirror for you! It's a wall hanging shaving mirror- with 3 hooks that once held the shaving supplies- those I do not have. So they are hooks for your possiblities- what you see is what you get. The base of the piece is solid wood- in what I'd describe as a crest shape. The mirror in the top center is small- just 3 1/4" diameter, but it reflects very well and is stylish with its beveled edge all around. The hooks are steel, as a magnet sticks to them. I think they have an old black finish- it's hard to tell for sure as the patina is so dark(it could be just the metal) and they also have very light surface rust in spots- it's surface only- they hooks are stong. Each hook measures 1 5/8" long from the front of the wood, ... moreand each has a hook up that is 1/2" The wood back measures 9 1/2" widest by 14 1/8' tallest in the center. It weighs 1 1/4 lbs. The piece is in excellent solid and sturdy condition structurally, with loooots of wear to the wood giving it a somewhat primitive flair. There's scratching, scrapes and general finish wear. You could stain or polish to minimize, paint, sand to finish the primitive look, or just leave it as it is, it's up to you. I'm showing the worst of the scratching in photo 24 on the top right. In photos 6& 7, you can see the finish wear- it's palpable and runs diagonally from the highest at the right side to the left side and bottom, and is seen at the left side at the top too. There's other wear like on the edges that you can see down to the wood- all part of its story! The mirror is in pretty nice shape and reflects well. It has minor scratching and small spots of silver loss, but nothing affecting the reflection as a whole. This is a charming piece for you- perfect for your hangables! Wonderful antique mirror. 32 inches wide by 26 inches tall Bevel is 1/2 inch all the way around. Top rounded. Frame is oak single dove tail corners. Color and patina excellent with age. Mirror has some very small dots the biggest pictured in middle of sheet photo shot. Scratch on top could easily get buffed out or scratch stick applied. Brought this mirror with me from NH purchased from an estate sale and thought I would refinish it someday. Well I have to many projects ahead of this so I am selling it before it gets broke. The back is a piece of cardboard and I put a wire on it so I could hang it and get it up off the floor. This is a very early Ogee Mirror and I hope it finds a good home. Please check the photos for condition. Other then the wire I have not cleaned or altered this in any way. Not sure if the mirror it self is original or not. It measures. Antique Primitive Counter Shaving Vanity Glass Mirror Iron Stand 9" Tall Pivots
This is an antique primitive mirror made of thick glass with an iron stand in very good condition. The edging of the mirror has large chips which is by design. Of course I am not sure what is by design and what may be from use and wear. Overall with the stand it is 9" tall and the mirror itself is 3 3/4" wide and 5 1/2" tall. It is such a cool mirror it will fit in any decor and being small like it is, any space. A very cool mirror overall it is from a period where things were made simply for use. I used a soda bottle to give it some scale. Has a missing screw on the one pivot point, otherwise it is in wonderful condition with tons of period patina. It starts at $25 and will ship for $10. Antique Primitive Shaving Mirror in Wood Wall Hanging Towel Bar
This antique primitive shaving mirror and towel bar rack belonged to a couple that married in the early 1900's. There are no manufacturer's marks and it was likely hand-crafted. It is s olid wood(looks like oak grain) The backer board is a rough cut and about 1/4 inch thick. Overall measurements are 16 1/2" wide x 15" high x 3" deep on the bottom. The storage well is 11" across and about 1 1/2" deep. It has a r ectangular mirror with an exposed surface of about 14 x 5” that appears original. Mirror has lots of age blemishes and a chipped corner. The t owel bar on the bottom is 1/2 inch in diameter. There is are nail holes in the top on each side where a wire was strung to mount the rack to the wall. Local pick-up is ok. I believe my father started refinishing this piece as it is stripped. Antique Americana Primitive Round Wood Hand Mirror
This Antique Round Wood Hand Mirror has a most lovely shape. The mirror has aging around the edges as old mirrors do. It has a sealer and on the back the sealer is worn away on the top mirror back part as you can see in the image. It feels very smooth to the hand but the sealer is worn away. I have hung onto this for years because the shape is so special and truly beautiful. it feels great in my hand too.

ANTIQUE BEVELED MIRROR SHAVING VANITY MIRROR WITH adjustable STAND- PRIMITIVE
This mirror is 5 inches across and 7 inches tall; the adjustable stand part works. The mirror has flaws as you can see in the pictures above. Not sure if it can be restored but thought I would put it on once and see if someone can use it. There are a couple of tiny chips on the frame part. It weighs a pound before packaging.
