This is an antique French hand mirror in the Neoclassical Grecian style. I believe this to be a combination of gilt bronze/brass metal. The design is on mahogany wood. And is encrusted with precious stones. The top stone is a purple Lindy Star Sapphire, and the bottom two stones are Jade. This is most likely from the period 1880 to 1900's, but actual age is unknown. The mirror has been replaced and is not original. In great condition and I have personally owned this for the last 30 years. No markings seen. Measurements: 9.5" long by 4.5" diameter at the widest point. Condition: very good condition. Antique Neoclassical Mirror Wood Gesso Urn Laurel 23x11 Hanging Wall Etched
This listing includes an old wall mirror that I would guess was made in the first half of the 20th century or before. The glass is etched with a leaf and berry design at the top. The wooden frame is faced with ornate gesso. At the arched top there's a figural urn and laurel design that's quite nice. Overall dimensions are 28" tall by 10 3/4" wide. CONDITION: Glass has no chips. Nicks or cracks but does have a couple of small spots of silvering. The frame is solid, strong, and ready to hang.
