But being sold as is and we are not sure if it works. Purchased as is and there is not key to wind the clock. The marble is in great shape, no damage. Please look closely at the pictures, can't tell if the were any repairs to the metal. The cover on the back to access movement is missing and mount for a cover is bent(see photo) The clock measures approximately 15 7/8 inches high, 13 inches wide, and 5 inches deep. This auction is for a simply wonderful antique French appliqué on a fine silk gauze net ground. It consists of very fine black silk velvet. Tiny delicate gold gifted metal threads, and very tiny silk petitpoint stitchwork. The underside has a subtle glittery effect from the fine metal threads throughout which are metal and not metallic. You can even feel their texture upon touch. This is really lovely and not one that will be seen in the near future.I believe that this was once trim when I acquired it, but even then, it only had about three-four motifs. This is my only piece. It is authentic of the earlier era and is really beautiful in color, detail and patination. ANTIQUE PERFUME BOTTLE TRIO GERMAN w/ GILTED METAL CADDY HOLDER FRENCH? 1900's
What a wonderful Christmas present this would make for that special person in your life! This is an antique trio of perfume bottles. Each with a faceted perfume dauber, tightly encased in a one of a kind gilted metallic caddy holder. The footed holder is 3 1/4" tall at top of the tallest flower and is nearly 4 1/2" across. The flowers are very ornate and everything is in perfect condition. The patina shows some age. there are no makers marks on the holder, that I can see. The bottles are 4 1/2" tall, each one has a faceted glass top with a glass dauber extending down into the bottle. The glass daubers each have a little soft roughness in the glass near the ends to ensure that a small amount of perfume clings to the glass when being removed to be used. On the bottom of each bottle, in a very light, fine white lined circle are ... morethe words"BOTTLE MADE IN GERMANY" in extremely tiny letters. Nearly faded out on one of the bottles but still legible on all three. NO cracks, chips, repairs, other than the tiny nick on a corner of one of the facets of one crystal stopper as noted in the above description. The only way to find it is to feel for the tiny nick. I am not sure if the footed holder is what is called brass ormolu. If anyone knows for sure, would appreciate an email! Please feel free to email me with any questions or comments. This auction is for a most exquisite antique French delicate silk/gold gilted metal lace textile fragment salvaged from an early era dress.it is lightweight. But with a wonderful drape due to its metal threads(the fibers are NOT metallic, but gilted metal)you can feel these fine, thin threads in its texture as well as it being somewhat cool to the touch.this is from my personal collection and is another textile that I am reluctant to sell. I have had it for many years and have not seen one similar. UNIQUE FINE DELICATE ANTIQUE FRENCH 1900s WOVEN SILKEN GILTED METAL LACE TRIM
This auction is for a very lovely and unique antique French early 1900s lace trim fragment.It consists of fine. Delicate gilted-gold metal(not metallic) threads with silken ombre-colored threads woven throughout its center. The photos do not do this justice whatsoever. It is very delicate and like a piece of jewelry.It is a flat trim and can be ironed to straighten out if needed.It is very desirable to the collector of hard-to-find trims. This is in wonderful condition with no issues that I detect. It measures approximately 18" x 3/8" It has a lovely shimmering effect;simply stunning.
