Antique Art Deco Hand Mirror circa 1920 Free Shipping
T he moment I saw this mirror hidden amongst dusty piles of long forgotten memories. I knew I had found a treasure. I did not even bother cleaning it except for wiping it down gently with a soft cotton cloth because the natural patina and dust added something magical to its charm. The colors are still incredibly vibrant and truly unique. As you can see from the pictures there is a lot of aging in the mirror but I find this quality makes it that much more beautiful. I have even gone so far as to antique all of my new mirrors in my home because it adds warmth and whimsy to any atmosphere. Measures 13 inches in length and 5 inches across widest part of mirror.

Antique 1920's Mirror Trumeau Style
This is a very pretty vintage Trumeau style mirror likely from the early 1900's. Purchased at an estate sale. This piece 8" x 23" had been in storage for many years. The mirror,being close to 100 years old shows areas of corrosion and the paper backing of the frame had rotted. The picture at top is a tranquil fishing scene. I replaced the back with cardboard and secured it with tape, but I was very happy to see the gorgeous cherry wood frame itself had not been compromised by the years. There are some nicks, but overall, this heavy wood frame is outstanding and makes a beautiful accent mirror. This is a gorgeous antique mirror. All original. This gorgeous mirror dates to the early 1920's and originates from England! This antique mirror is just incredibly gorgeous and quite large! The mirror features 3 panels and is a tri-folding mirror. The center mirror is the largest and this piece tilts up and down. Both side mirrors open and close on the sides. All mirrored panels have an incredibly large and most gorgeous sprays of pink cabbage roses and florals in blues, creamy whites and mixed in among green leaves! All panels have a gorgeous pink ribbon along their borders. The barbola roses are not the typical gesso roses, instead, all of the florals are made of a hardened material and hand painted. This gives the florals an incredibly realistic look! In excellent condition for its age, this gorgeous mirror has minor flea bites to ... moresome of the rose garland. There is some chipping to the paint and there are a few cracks in the gesso florals. The mirror measures 9" high and 8" across. There is some loss of silvering around the edges. Antique 1920's-30's Dunville's Irish Whiskey Pub Mirror for Man Cave, Bar or Pub
Up for sale is an authentic Dunville's Irish Whisky pub mirror from between 1920 and approx. 1936(about the time Dunville's ceased production) This mirror hung for many years in the Church Street Station bar complex in downtown Orlando. Florida until it closed for business. The owner of Church Street Station, Gene Snow, was well known for his antique collection that adorned the many different bars within this complex. This mirror features what is believed to be silver backed glass with traditional etching and painting on the front. It measures 22 3/4inches by 25 1/2 inches and is in a horizontal(landscape) format. I was told by a collector that 98% of all Dunville's mirrors were in a vertical format so, if true, this makes it very rare. The wood is in great condition with minor cracking of one slat on the back. There is a stain ... moreof some sort on the back that does not appear to effect the wood. Up for auction is this beautiful mirror. Filled with thick barbola/ gesso all the way around the outer edge. Awesome oval shape measuring 12.5 x 15.5. Frame is approximately 1.5 inches thick. I love this mirror and have had in for many years. I have run out of wall space and instead of having it stowed away I would rather have someone enjoying it. Please note this is all original and is probably from about 1920. There are a few scuffs, and chips to the light gray painted wood frame, along with two holes from hanging. Antique Large Art Deco Edgar Brandt ? Wall Mirror Large Wrouht Iron ca 1920's
Lovely Art Deco Wrought Iron Wall Mirror I believe. Although not signed, that this is by Edgar Brandt as it depicts his style. Frame measures: 33.75 top x 28.5 bottom x 25.5 to top of mirror This is one of several that I had picked up at antique liquidation sale. 2 others are already listed so be sure to check them out also. The mirror is crude which my husband thinks was because it was too thick. It is about 1/4" thick and very heavy. He believes they pressured what they could and then used pliers of some sort to snap around it which would explain the crudeness. There are blemishes/discoloration on the mirror as seen. Used white background so that you could tell a little better. The bar that runs across the back was re-welded on one end as shown by local welder. If winning bidder does not want the mirror. Wonderful Pair of Antique Old Art Deco Gilt Wood Framed Etched Mirrors Each- 24" height by 15 3/4" wide*Sparkling in the light* Fresh from an estate full of treasures is this simply wonderful pair of Old Antique Art Deco Etched Mirrors from the 1920's.30's They are gorgeous and so unusual to find a perfect matched pair! They would be perfect over a double sink or just about anywhere else. They have wonderful rich gilt wood frames with black ebonized trim. Elegant shapes with graceful arches at the center and perfectly accented with flourished etching to the mirrors. FANTASTIC! Vintage mirrors like these are becoming harder& harder to find. these are an exquisite example from days gone by. They are in very good vintage estate condition. The mirrors only have very age appropriate ... morelight ghosting and streaking. There is minor silver loss and crackling in the etching. Some wear. Scratches to the gilt and black finish. Antique Art Deco Silver and Wood Mirror circa 1920's
You are looking at Art Deco mirror. Circa 1920's. found in collection of many antique and vintage items from that period. I believe the metal is silver. The black backing is wood. The metal was tested with magnet and positive for precious metal. However I did not see any mark to make this official. The markings may be on the sculptured lady's back but there are pins holding the piece together and I don't want to make damage removing them. There was a $75 tag on it when we found it in a estate collection of fine stuff we are selling. Starting the bid at what we consider a very low price. Please.
