There are no cracks or ... morechips to the brass that I can find, however, the drawtube has a small ding to the top section to one side and the rim of the eyepiece has dents to the rim, it has retained much of its' lacquered finish but there are losses and tarnishing in places, particularly to the stage, lower tube with the mirror and base. There are also the usual scuffs, marks, tarnishing and scratches that you expect from a used item of this age. The ring the drawtube screws in to is divided and it is a tight fit. The drawer tube moves up and down when the knurled bolt to the lower tube is moved, however, it is a little loose and doesn't stay in place.

This map has property specific detail of the area between M street and ... more23rd. This map measures approximately 28 1/2 x 22 1/2 inches. Including the border area. Property specific detail. Map is in color. VERY RARE. This map shows an area of NW stretching from Rock Creek to M Street and then over to 23rd Street. This is currently lower Georgetown/ George Washington area of the city. Map from the Real Estate Plat-Book of Washington. District of Columbia. Vol. 1. Comprising the entire North-West Section from the Original Plats of Squares& Subdivisions and Additions upon record in the office of the Surveyor of the City of Washington" Constructed under the direction of and published in 1892 by Griffith M. Hopkins, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Maps this early and showing this much detail of Washington D.C. are VERY SCARCE. Map has fantastic coloring to it. Lots of color coding to represent various attributes(white/stone building. Pink/brick building, yellow/frame building, if it looks like an envelope/a stable or shed, and black& white dotted/green house etc. Please note that while I have included a picture of the Title Page of the Plat-Book this map was taken from. It is NOT included in the sale, as it is a reference piece to determine authenticity for the other maps. I would be happy to include a copy if requested. Map in generally good condition(not perfect but pretty nice condition) Light browning and some small creases at edges. Some other dings here and there. This map is a great piece of Washington. So starting this at a very low starting bid. It is still so pretty that I did not have the heart to throw it away and thought that maybe someone would want it. I purchased it at an estate sale and I do not know who the maker is or how old it is. It is 7 1/2 inches wide and 3 inches tall in the stand. Description I have this very pretty Hughes Cornflower Sectional Dish. The dish is an irregular shape. Rectangular but it has large scalloped edges. It measures 10-1/2" x about 6-1/2" The dish is divided into three sections diagonally with a large 12-petaled Cornflower in the center of dish with the etched leaves around the flower. There are two handles that consist of three flat circles. On the bottom of the dish there is a raised lip that follows the curves. This raises the dish up so the bottom doesn't get scratched. The dish is in very good condition with no chips. Cracks or repairs. When you hold the dish up to the light you can see the odd tiny air bubble which can't be helped. Dish is approx. 10" wide x 9-1/2" long and has 2 equal shell-shaped wells and 1 larger shell-shaped well. Small wells are approx. 4-1/2" wide useable surface x 5" long useable surface the larger is approx. 7" wide useable surface x 5" long useable surface. The center has a holder for the cocktail sauce bowl it stands approx. 1" tall it holds a glass bowl approx. 2" deep with a top opening 3-1/4" wide it fits into the holder like a candle. PERFECT Vintage Fostoria "CENTURY" 3-Sectioned Lg. Relish BOWL!!
Up for sale is an absolutely perfect vintage crystal three-sectioned relish bowl in the“Century” pattern by Fostoria! Fostoria started making their Century pattern in 1950. And it’s an extremely popular and collectible pattern. The pattern is most easily recognized by the wavy border, and it was used for several of Fostoria's most popular etched patterns(Heather, Camillia and Bouquet are a few) This beautiful relish bowl is separated into three sections by diagonal glass dividers, and it has fancy scrolled handles on either side. It stands on a polished ground rim, and it's in outstanding condition! It’s nearly immaculate– there are no chips, cracks, flakes, fleabites, nicks or roughness anywhere, and the glass is nice and shiny– no stains, utensil scratches, or oxidation. There are a few odd scuffs here and there(perhaps from stacking) ... morebut they can really only be seen when the bowl is held up to the light for very close inspection. It’s oval in shape– it measures 11 3/8 inches long by 8¾ inches wide. It’s absolutely guaranteed to be vintage– not reproduction or new glass. AMBER INDIANA GLASS SECTIONED RELISH DISH WITH 3 FEET IN DAISY PATTERN
This Indiana Glass relish dish is in Amber glass. It measures 8 3/4" accross from handle to handle. The handles are not chipped. But one has straw marks on the underside and one 1/2 scratch or utensil mark on the top. The other has two tiny scratches. This dish shows some wear from the dinner table. The outside of the rim has roughness around it, but no chips. The inside of the rim has roughness, two flea bites and one chip that is 1/8" wide. There are no utensil marks in the bottom. The three feet on the bottom are not chippes. Other than that, there are no cracks.

Silverplated Serving Bowl- Not to Fancy but Classic Piece- Unmarked Looks to be from the late 1960's to mid 1970's Divided into 3 sections. You don't see these to often. The overall condition is pretty good- on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best, I would say this is a 7. There are a couple small pits and normal marks from past use. One"nick" on the lid but it is only about 1/8" long& does not go thru the silverplate itself. Both the bowl& the lid have matching gadroon patterns and the finial is stepped and looks like a wreath(not Christmasy! The lid fits nice and snug within the bowl's border& does not slide. Overall dimensions: 11" Diameter by 4" Deep(with the domed lid on) Three Internal sections measure 7" x 4" The divider starts out at 2" tall& builds up to ... more3" so you can"mound" whatever you are serving and also helps to keep your foods separated.
