This stove would be the ideal addition to a period deco space, as you can see it's in use at the moment in our place, but the room it's in is 24 x 23 feet and it isn't powerful enough to heat the whole room, I would say this would be ideal for a room about 14 x 14 max, it's 4-5KW, I think we need 12KW! Here we have a pair of vintage andirons. I found these near the fire place at an estate sale. In a very old building. I have been told that these are from around 1900. I was also told that these are French Antique Gilt Bronze Andirons. They measure approx 13" high. I did not clean them. They are dusty and dirty, but with the proper cleaning, they can look really good. They do not have the cross bars. Some other Ebay sellers have these same andirons up for acution at $165 to $275. Vintage Fireplace Mantle White Paint Vintage Antique Surround French Chic
Hi for sale I have a vintage fireplace surround. I believe it was made in the 1950s. I bought it from an old Detroit home. It had fake electric logs in it. This is a faux fireplace surround. Made for an electric fireplace. Stands on its own. I have just used it as a piece of decor. I love the piece. But I am moving and it does not have a place in my new home. I painted the piece a creamy white, and the gold column paint is original to the piece. Local pick up in Rochester Mi 48307. Measures: 46" tall x 11" deep x 60" long. Very unusual Enamel Coal Scuttle A really nice old white speckled enamel coal scuttle in good condition. The enamel does have a couple of chips.But there is no rust to speak off and the interior is free from holes.It is a nice size and looks really tidy, there is a chrome handle on the top which has some rusting This measures 23 cms across and the depth is 43 cms. French Louis XV Style Fireplace Screen Brass Ormulu Vintage
This French Regency style brass 3 piece folding fireplace screen has a scroll frame with black wire mesh panels. There are touches of verdigris on the frame and the base has claw footed feet. The Ormulu style of French gilt brass is over a base metal of unknown material. There is some loss of brass finish on some of the lower portions of the panels and feet. The entire width is 42" with the main panel 19 1/2"W X 31 1/2"H. The side panels measure 11 1/4"W X 28 1/2" H. The wire mesh is in good shape except for the edge of the mesh that has come away from the frame on the back center panel for approx. 3" but does not show on the front nor affect efficiency.
