No real scuffs or marks to note. I could not really date these but did locate the Bradley And Hubbard mark on each with there being a stamped 2008 inside each column on the inside. This is an exquisite. Original Eastlake style cast iron fireplace tools stand. It is in wonderful condition and the detail work on this is just lovely. I have seen another like this that had excessive wear and the details were not as pronounced as on this one. Stands 24" tall. It breaks down into 3 pieces for safe shipping. Re-assembles with its original screw at top and nut underneath. Beautiful patina. Has a#36 casting marks on the back side of the vertical piece and also underneath. Goes great with the arts and crafts period. You will not find another this nice very soon. Will ship Standard post insured and carefully packed to avoid breakage. Vintage/antique Peerless andirons arts and crafts styling-Model 3514
A great set of unique and rare vintage Peerless andirons from the Arts and Crafts era. Complete with fire dogs/legs, American made, very heavy duty and in excellent condition with no breaks or welds. Beautiful golden bronze patina on a hammered background. Standing 18.5" tall. 11 3/8"wide at base, with 20" legs/fire dogs that feature great curves and spires, these are the Real Thing. See photots. About 4" wide at top of andirons. These are very heavy. I don't know when these were made. I'm guessing 1920s-30s) but they don't make'em like this anymore, that's for sure. They have a Celtic Design and look to them. Are these andirons from the Arts& Crafts Movement? I am unsure. They would make a lovely piece of Fireplace Decor. Together these items weigh 8.6 pounds and they each measure 16 and 1/4" tall by 8 and 1/4" wide at the base by 13 and 3/8" deep. These andirons do have some wear present as well as some rust. Antique Iron Arts and Crafts Fire Screen With Cat Tails and Bird Scene Vintage
VINTAGE ARTS& CRAFTS FIRE SCREEN WITH LAKE SCENE AND BIRDS Truly one of a kind. This hand made, hammered metal fire screen is in great condition for its age. I believe it to be 1920s or 1930s made from wrought iron and heavy metal screen. The piece is original black in color with gold tone accents depicting a lake scene with water fowl among the cat tails. There is an intricately crafted butterfly and several ducks in the design including one duck in the cut metal inlay along the bottom that appears to be lake water. I have also shown one image of it in front of a fireplace. The piece is heavy and measures about 4' x 4' with"feet" that hold it upright and wrought iron"handles" and decorative work as well. Antique Cast Iron Fleur de Lis Coal Wood Basket Grate Vintage Arts Crafts
Up for auction: Heavy cast iron coal/wood burning grate. Not sure of the age. But it's quite old. Purchased at a local antiques auction in Bunn, North Carolina. Please note in the pictures that I've provided, that there is a break/crack in the rear of the grate. It has not separated and we've used it to burn smaller logs in our wood burning fireplace. I carried the grate outdoors to photograph and it didn't separate then either. However, I've tried to show the crack in the iron. I was told this could be welded together. This is an awesome set of Peerless cast andirons. They were made in the 1920's in the arts and crafts style with hammered details and nail head finished edges. They would look awesome in any arts and crafts. Moorish, or any pre-deco home. They are marked Peerless 3530 on the backs. These are originals, not reproductions. They are substantial and have great. Original bronze tone finish over the iron. Nice patina. They are 14" tall and the legs span 9.5" across. The bracket is 19" from front to back.
