Remarkable Antique Queen Anne Carved Pine Mantel with Mirror, c. 1890’s NFPM6
This is a fabulous antique Queen Anne style pine mantel. Dating from the 1890’s. It is crowned with an arched top, which is carved with a stylized foliate motif, and has a small shelf just below the arch, surrounded by a stick-and-ball railing. The shelf is followed by a scalloped border, which extends to a gracefully curved bracket on either side. Outside each bracket is a piece carved with a fan-shaped, fern-like design, curving down to the second shelf. The second shelf has a lovely beveled edge, and is supported by two pairs of balusters, which flank the beautifully aged beveled mirror. Each pair of balusters frames a beautiful leaf-shaped carved design and rests on the main shelf, connected to the last shelf by a fabulous pair of small turned spindles. The final shelf, a small ledge extending just above the firebox opening, is surrounded ... moreby a stick-and-ball railing, which angles inward at the front and is accented by two small ball finials. The ledge is supported beneath by a wonderful pair of turned posts. The firebox and the sides of the mantel feature lovely chamfered edges. This mantel is in excellent condition; it has been stripped and is ready to accept a finish. 1919 Solid Brass Cannonball Andirions Queen Anne Style!
I have a very nice pair of brass cannonball 1919 andirons for your consideration. These are marked 1919 on the cast iron. They are both marked with numbers on each. The right one says 1340 the left one 3404. There is a makers mark in a circle. But I cannot make it out. They might be Virginia Metal Crafters. They have Queen Anne style legs. 17 1/2" H X 8" W 3" H x 12" long cast iron fire dogs. There are a few dings and scratches. To be expected in something of this age, but not that bad. There is a small separation on one seam where one of the andirons connects to the wrought iron, but it doesn't even seem noticeable, and is very insignificant, as it doesn't affect the usage or appearance. It isn't loose on the connection at all. So all this being said. And we know they are old numbered& marked with a makers ... moremark who would like to be the lucky recipient of these great andirons? Antique Brass Fire Fender ~ Queen Anne Style
This is a charming piece. The style is Queen Anne Revival? most likely early 20th century. It is in very good condition, left front corner has a slight dent.And the top bar on the centre front is loose it appears to have been soldered at on time. We have never found it to be a problem. It polishes up wonderfully as it is of a good quality solid brass. And the construction is of a good quality as well. By loosening the bolts on the bottom(see photos)the entire piece can be undone. The measurements are as follows: out side length 42 inches. Inside length 37 3/4 inches, the depth out side is 12 inches, depth inside is 9 3/4inches, and the height is six inches.

Lovely Ornate Queen Anne Oak Mantel 1895 Architectural Salvage
Wonderful. Ornate Queen Anne Victorian oak mantel. Top is arched, with each end having design, sits on panel with relief and scrolling leaves at the sides. Below corner blocks with bulls eyes. Top shelf connects to mantle has smaller detailed supports with turnings leading to an oval that is full of little squares supporting a smaller shelf on each end. One large beveled mirror(33" w X 19" h) in the center, flanked by two smaller bevels(8-1/2 h X 6-1/2"w) on each side. Center has appealing raised medallion. Supports for mantle are small brackets atop smaller columns. Measures 5 ft. wide and 7 ft. high. Box opening is 3' X 3' In great condition, never painted.
