Vintage Footed Lions Paw Feet Hammered Silver Plate Champagne Wine Ice Bucket
Pair of hammered silver plate(with three lions paws) champagne/wine ice buckets. They have the patina of age(am guessing it is about 75 years old) No damage and the feet are tight, strong and ready to hold lots of ice and a full bottle. The interior is a warm silver wash, not a gold wash. the gold hue is flash from the camera. The buckets measures 7-1/2" high and is 9-7/8" across the top.

Antique Sterling Silver 3 Lion Mask& Paw Footed Cauldron Shape Sauce. Milk or Cream Jug dated 1913 This Delightful Antique Sauce. Milk or Cream Jug measures approximately 3 3/4 inches or 95 mm in length from the handle to the pouring lip by 2 1/8 inches or 54 mm across the width or diameter of its central body from side to side and it stands 3 1/2 inches or 8 9 mm tall to the top of its handle. The jug is made from 67. 3 grams of sterling silver in a round cauldron like shape with a scrolled handle and the jug stands on three relief twist decorated legs that have raised lion mask or head tops and paw feet. The jug has a scrolling or shaped upper rim with an extended pouring lip over a stepped raised relief rib decorated body and it has Not been engraved with a previous owners initials or family monogram all as photographed below. The ... moreside of the upper body has been impressed with a full set of English sterling silver hallmarks that read as follows, J R- Anchor- Lion Passant- o J R is the Birmingham silversmith or makers mark of John Rose. The Anchor is the mark of the Birmingham assay office. The Lion Passant is the mark of English 925 standard sterling silver and the letter o is the date letter for 191 3. The condition is used and near Mint for its age. The Jug has No Dents. No Splits, No Holes, No Cracks and No Repairs that I can find, the jug stands straight, the decoration and definition is crisp, the jug holds liquid without leaking, the silver hallmark is still legible although as the jug is a used antique it does have some extremely minor surface marks and wear from use along with the patina of age that is to be expected and a good clean would enhance it greatly. Personally I think that this antique jug can still be used today for serving sauces, milk or cream and that would make a superb addition to any cabinet collection, I also think that it would look fantastic in the right setting on a dining table and that it has a delightful look about it considering that it's 100 years old. This is a very nice. Like new double candle stick, brass with tri paw feet. Has a brass tap hand screw to adjust it up or down. It stands 14 iches tall and is 10 inches. PAIR of c.1815-1820 DERBY POT POURRI PAW FOOTED URNS w/ LIDS in IMARI DECORATION
This is a beautiful and scarce Pair of c.1815-1820 Derby Pot Pourri Paw Footed Urns with Covers in Imari type decoration. The covered urns each stand approximately 5-1/2" tall to the top of the finial. The matched pair of Derby pot-pourri urns with covers each show the c.1815-1820 crown. Crossed batons and D mark in iron-red from the Robert Bloor& Co. period of Derby. Of squat waisted form. With a cone finial, the rims pierced, the rim of the bowl applied with four richly gilt masks, the bowl on four paw and leaf feet above a waisted square base with canted corners. The condition is great with o nly very minor wear to the gilt decoration and underside of the base(commensurate with age) Along with very minor, faint, crazing on the interior of one urn. There are NO repairs, NO restoration and NO replacements. As mentioned, the undersides ... moreshow the Derby mark. They also show a museum inventory cataloged number. RARE EARLY 19c MEISSEN DRESDEN SERPENT HANDLE/ LION PAW FOOTED CUP c1800 This is a lovely early 19c Dresden Meissen lion paw footed cup with a fine dresden spray patterning around the cup with a lovely serpent biting a ring at the top of the handle. The cup is around 3" high. Around 2 and 1/2" across the body and in a fine condition with no chips or cracks. The base is marked with the Meissen sword mark, no cancellations and dating circa 1800-1820. UK post and packing will be £3.75, recorded delivery.

Its marked on the bottom: O.B Allan Ltd Vancouver BC& made in England. The Bowl Measures: 14" long 10-1/2" wide and 3-1/2" high. It had(4) Acanthus leaf& 4 toed Paw feet. Ornate high relief floral edge border. The entire inside of the bowl is engraved wtih all kinds of ornate work and florals. The bowl ins in great condition with no wear to the plating, but it does have some common tiny black pit marks on inside center part fo the bowl and that's it. no Dent or dings and it polished up beautifully.Its a very well made quality piece and weighs almost 4 lbs. This beautiful bowl dates to 1900 and features complex open fretwork sides and a flower and scroll motif at the rim. It stands on three very detailed paw feet that have a floral decoration where they attach to the bowl. As with all Dominick and Haff sterling it is beautifully crafted. And it is heavy for its size. The bowl is signed on the base with the Dominick and Haff cipher, the model number 1606, and sterling. There is also a gorgeous art nouveau monogram on the bottom center of the bowl, discreet and out of view. The rim is decorated with a shell and ivy applied decoration. There is a place for a monogram on the handle. But there is no monogram or removal. The handle swings up and down, and is shown in both positions. This is true old rolled and fused Sheffield plate. There is no maker's mark, as is true for most Old Sheffield Plate. The basket measures 12 inches long by 9 3/4 inches wide by 8 1/2 inches tall with the handle up. This is a very heavy and very well made vintage fancy sugar and creamer set that is footed with lion paws and decorated with detailed lion heads. Never monogrammed and condition is excellent. Weight is heavy at 324 grams. Size is 5 1/8" across the handles of the sugar by by 3" tall handle to foot. Creamer is 4 1/4" wide and is also 3" tall. They are so thick and so well made that they will probably never dent or ding. Another wonderful antique left abandoned to my inheritance when I purchased this old dwelling that was built in the year 1850.Found in an early painted blanket box or ship's chest left in the attic which most likely belonged to one of the mule drivers who lived in this barracks and worked the old Morris Canal.The chest itself dates to as early as circa 1800.And in it I found numerous items that also pre-date the structure,leading me to believe that the chest must have belonged to one of the men who bunked here and that it was left behind for me to inherit in this"as is" purchase of the place made directly through the bank.I would doubt that the items found in this chest date to the dwelling's Civil War Era life as a general store as most of the objects found in the chest seem to be of a more personal nature. This is a an ... moreearly silverplated teapot made by James Dixon and Son of Sheffield in the Empire style with acanthus covered paw feet and incised decorations.It dates to the period when Dixon worked with the first of his sons after his partner since incorporation of the firm in 1806 departed.The firm.Originally known as Dixon and Smith,became Dixon and Son in 1823 and remained called such until 1836.Imprinted on the underside with DIXON and SON,this teapot is easily dated to that 1823-36 period. Dixon was the most prolific producer of 19th century hollowares in Britania Ware.A soft alloy akin to pewter.Many of his finer pieces were silverplated,as is this teapot.Remarkably,this fine looking teapot has retained the vast majority of it's silverplating virtually intact after nearly two centuries,and probably because it was left undisturbed for so long in the dusty and dark confines of this old dwelling's attic.I find this to be amazing.So many of Dixon's early pieces are sold as pewter,when in fact they were originally silverplated but have simply lost the plating entirely from use and the ravages of time.This example is positively gorgeous and has nearly 100% of the gleam that it had

Up for auction is this Awesome Old Antique Metal Footed Covered Bowl or Dish. I am not sure what this is or what it is used for but its really neat. I found this in my great gramas attic. And she was passed so I never learned what it was for. There are some dents in the lid, and some peeled plating on the bottom of the base and inside at the bottom. There are 2 holes drilled into the bottom(for drainage) The feet look like paws and at the tops of the legs, there are some faces that look to be Victorian. 1940s LEONARD SILVER PLATE FOOTED WATER PITCHER WITH ICE LIP AND SHELL PAW FEET
This auction is for a 1940's Leonard Silver Plate footed water pitcher with an ice lip. It has wonderful ornate handle as well as a sea shell like leg and claw/ animal foot- paw. It is marked"LEONARD SILVER PLATE" on the bottom. It measures about 9" tall by 8" from handle to spout. it has been used but as you can see it is still in excellent condition. Please see photos. This would be wonderful for a Holiday Party. As well as to adorn your Thanksgiving or Christmas Table. Set of 6 footed English Sheffield silverplate cups with a fancy scrolled handle. Each are hallmarked with a left facing lion with raised paw. An old English S, and EP, all in squares. They were an estate sale find and possibly antique. No dents or scratches. No loss of silverplate. No monogram or monogram removal. Each footed cup measures approximately 3 1/2" in height and approximately 3 1/3" in diameter.
