This little stove is very sweet and would go so well in many different settings. It could be a focal piece in a country kitchen. A cottage themed porch or deck, a Victorian bedroom or even in a bathroom along side a claw foot tub. This"Parlor Stove" states patent 1872 and made by Carbondale. I am not experienced in cast iron stoves and I have not seen this brand anyplace that I have looked. This little stove makes a large statement and I'm sure will compliment any room you put it in.

ORNATE R H RANSOM CAST IRON PARLOR STOVE MANUFACTURED IN ALBANY. NY, AND PATENTED IN 1848. This is a gorgeous old stove with great details, including faces and flowers on every side. There is a crack in the back(shown in photo) I am not sure if it is a defect that affects its performance- it doesn't seem to go all the way through the stove as light can not be seen through it. It might even have been part of the casting process, I just don't know. Stove has a door on the right side, a removable top and two removable pieces to allow access for ash removal, all shown in photos. Stove is 29" wide, 22" deep and 29" in height. This five piece fireplace set is perfect to sit by the hearth. I believe the metal is chrome. I do not know for sure. Each piece is ad orned with a pineapple.
