Great find for a Mid Century Modern enthusiast. Vintage 1950's to 1960's low Cast Iron metal If I was using this piece. I would use it for a magazine or newspaper rack. However, it is so low, that I think it was originally a Mid Century Modern log holder/ rack for the fireplace. I believe that the top portion would hold the logs/ wood and that the lower section would hold newspaper for tinder needed to start the fire. Please read the dimensions prior to purchase just to be safe. It has great Mid Century lines and styling- low and sleek. This is an original. Definitely not a reproduction. Hello. You are viewing my auction for a pair of Antique Cast Metal Andirons. These andirons have a Gothic Look to them. Are they Mid Century Modern Arts& Crafts Movement Andirons? I am unsure. They are made out of some type of cast metal however I am unsure of the exact metal that they are made from. They each weigh 16.4 pounds and measure10 and 3/4" wide by 18" tall by 20" deep. There is minimal wear present however there are no breaks or repairs present. They have a great vintage look to them. There is NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING PERMITTED ON THIS ITEM. SCARCE Musical Note Andirons-Tennessee Chrome Plate Co Nashville-Mid Century
Available here is a pair and mid century music note fireplace andirons. These are quite rare and do not come up often! These were made by the Tennessee Chrome Plate Company in Nashville in the 1940s or 50s. They are both marked"Tenn. Chrome Plate Co" and"Nashville" on the back. The musical notes are made of brass and the leg holder supports are iron. The supports are removable with a bolt that slides on or off the back part of the music note. The measure approximately 17.5" tall and approximately 6" wide. The leg supports are around 24.5" deep. Feel free to contact me with any questions. I do accept offers and will consider any given.

Beautiful Solid Mid Century Marble Mantel
Incredible solid marble mantel. Mainly grey in color with deeper grey marbling and slight hues of coral and lavender that could be brought out with your wall color if desired. The mantel comes in 5 pieces with each piece being 50-100 pounds(approximately 350 pounds total) The mantel installed measures 42” high by 59.5” wide to the exterior with an interior opening of 35” high by 46” wide. The marble pieces are carved in a pattern similar to a picture frame with more depth to the outside and less to the inside. The outside depth is 4 ¾” and the inside depth measures 2 ¾” thick. The mantel includes an apron with a slot cut out where the gas line ran through. It also includes a finished slab to cover the rise of your firebox from the floor. Vintage Mid-Century Cast Iron Andirons needing TLC
Offered for auction is a set of two mid-century cast iron footed andirons that need some TLC. These were left in our home by the former owners when we bought the house in the mid‘70s. But we could not find the arms that were supposed to be with them. Originally they were glossy black(enamel? but left in our cool, dampish basement over the years, they are now lightly rusty. I took some of these photos before applying a simple kitchen Scotch Brite pad to them, to see if some of the rust would come off, which it did, rather easily(the first photo is the'after' and the last photo is'before' I used the cleaning pad) A real rust remover would make them look great, for anyone interested in restoring them. For your consideration a very hard to find vintage 1964 space age wood stove by"Acorn Deluxe'Porcelainized' Fireplaces" Made of steel with a white and black porcelain spatter finish. The condition is very good. There are no dents or chips to the finish. It is a recent estate purchase from a doctors home in the Boston area. It was in the master bedroom of the house since the 1960's and hadn't been used in some time. It measures about 37-1/2 inches tall by 24-1/2 wide by 21 deep. The fire box is about 23 inches wide by14 deep. The weight is approximately 80 pounds. It is designed to sit on the floor on its cantilevered legs as close as 6 inches from any wall. Included with the stove is a 12" section of pipe with a damper in it and a round two piece collar for a masonry wall or brick chimney installation. ART DECO ANDIRONS FENDER FIREPLACE TOOLS SET CHROME COPPER MID CENTURY MODERN
Beautiful art deco fireplace andirons and fender. Fender measures about 38" x 10" x 7" Andirons are 15" tall. We believe this set to be from the 1930's but may be newer? Metal has scratches and wear consistent with age. Chrome fender pipes are pitted, andirons as well with scratches especially on the bases. Copper or brass is tarnished. Rust to metal legs. Copper parts will polish up nicely. Chrome parts may be polished but imperfections will remain, may need to be rechromed, see pics. This is a really nice set needs a little work.
