This is a matching pair of keys from the Independent Lock Company that both work in the small brass locking unit. The keys have the company name and logo on them, they are sound and straight with normal wear, and still work good. Measure 1 7/8" long. Beautiful vintage Japan Large Japanese Mt Fuji Card Cigarette Case with matching Match safe. Unique stunning example of a highly detailed matched set. It is highly detailed on both pieces and is in great condition. The Cigarette Case would make a great addition to your collection or just to use. It depicts Mt. Fuji Japan and is detailed on all sides. On the back it has what looks like a K inside of a diamond shaped which I am guessing is the trademark signature or the flying birds. The cigarette case measures 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 wide as the match safe measures 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 and is in the shape of a parallelogram. Offered is this matching pair of NOS. Safe Hardware(Emhart) rim lock sets in their original boxes. Both sets have their skeleton keys. These sets were purchased at a local estate sale and do not appear to have ever been installed/used, but they have some minor scratches here and there from years of storage and moving around. There are no dents, dings or bends in the pieces although the back(unpainted) sides of the escutcheons have some minor surface rust. These would make great pieces for a restoration project.
