But these look like the 1980’s remake commemorative limited edition model of the famous 1950's Tourney Colokrom Irons(letter“P” for the wedge is a give away. Also, the True Temper Dynamic Shafts) Club heads are in nice shape for their vintage and have no ugly dings. Other than the Pw face which still looks good, the 3-9 iron faces have not seen much use and are in very nice shape(note: 3-9 irons do not have much wear at all to the finish coating which has developed a nice patina. Besides a few dings and nicks that are often associated with soft-forged irons. Club heads are in decent shape, don't have an excessive amount of chatter, face frosting looks nice, and the grooves are in very good condition(note: 5 iron has a ding on the leading edge that can be seen in the top of the last photo; also, the Equalizer has some nicks on the leading edge that can be seen in the bottom of the last photo. The 6 irons looks like it had a ding that was filed down, which I have circled in red in the second to last photo) Equipped with Hogan Apex 3 regular flex steel shafts that are pinned to the hosels(note: labels are in good shape) The length of the 5 iron is 37-7/8” note: my measurement was ... moretaken with a carpenters ruler along the back side of the shaft from the end of the grip to the sole of the club with its last groove parallel to a hard grounding surface) Avon Chamois grips will need to be changed for play(note: the 4 iron and Equalizer have Hogan Exclusive AMF Design grips that also will need to be changed for play) Ferules and thin detail trim rings are in very good shape and have the matching serial number G92831 for the 2-9 irons(note: Equalizer has no serial number which is normal. There are six irons that are all in very nice vintage condition; two(2) 2 Irons' 3 Iron' 5 Mashie' 7 Mashie Niblick' and an'8 Niblick' They have steel shafts and original grips, again in very nice condition. Also included is an old canvas and leather golf bag(unknown maker) which is also in rather nice condition. Rare MacGregor Forged PMB Irons 2-PW
Up for auction is a great set of hard to find MacGregor PMB forged irons. The set is 2 through the pitching wedge. Standard length. Loft, and lie. The shafts are Dynamic Gold S300 stiff with Sensicore. The irons have been used very little. The only mark of note is at the base of the pitching wedge which has a ding in it that occurred when the iron fell on the edge of a granite countertop. The grips are Royal grips, Spiral, and are in like-new condition. You will not find a nicer set of these irons today. This model iron was used for many years by Jose Maria Olazabal, including his record-setting 61 at Firestone, and his many Ryder Cup victories. Titleist Tour Model Forged Irons 2-SW Heads Only
This auction includes a very nice set(2-SW) of late 1980's Titleist Tour Model Iron Heads. The chrome is in great condition. With wear on the club faces only and very minor pitting on the finish of the heads. Grooves are very good, these heads are in great shape for their age and have seen minimal use. The lie of the heads appears be adjusted down about 1 degree at some time in the past. No major dings or dents and leading edges are clean. Ben Hogan Edge Forged Irons 1-9 iron, EW, PW... Men's RH, Tall set of Golf Clubs
A set of Hogan Edge Forged Irons. I'm a golfer. But these weren't mine, so I don't know too much about them. Included are 11 clubs, 1 through 9 iron(yes, 1 iron! an'E'dge wedge, and a 56* pro wedge. They have apex 4 shafts. And golf pride grips. I've tried to take detailed pictures to show their condition. The faces are in pretty reasonable shape, indicating to me they haven't been played too much. Cosmetically, the backs show some salt/rust stains, and look in much worse shape than the faces. The 1 iron measures 41 inches from the tip of the grip to the base of the heel. The 5 iron is 38.5 inches. The 8 iron is 37.5 inches, and the 56* Wedge is 35 inches. So, I think these are approximately 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch longer than standard clubs. I'm not familiar with shipping golf clubs. Mizuno T-Zoid TZoid Pro Forged Irons set Matching Numbers 3-PW S300 Firm
I am selling my set of Mizuno Tzoid Pro Irons. These are some of the best clubs ever made in my opinion. I am not the golfer I used to be and now I use giant cavity back clubs. Plus, I have two sets of these. Cleaning out the closet. They are in excellent shape and were not played much at all. The PW is the only one that shows any real face wear. Grooves are in excellent condition. The finish is intact with the exception of one little spot at the bottom outside of the face on the 7 iron. Not really noticeable at address. You can see it in the pictures. I didn't even wipe these things down before the photos. They need to be wiped down well and the shafts cleaned. Great condition. The shafts are the original shafts. And I believe this set had S300 firm shafts. I pulled the original stickers off as they had my personal tag on there. The ... moregrips could stand to be replaced, but they are playable.
