Beautiful Carved Wooden Fleur de Lis Medallion
This hand carved wooden element can be used as a stand alone decorative element of fastened to a larger piece as adornment. It is finely sculpted in a classic Fleur de Lis design of which many variations appear throughout history. It is 12" x 9" x 1" Many items I am selling came from a furniture and designcompany that went out of business in 1997. Some pieces were removed fromfurniture that was in disrepair other pieces were left over stock fromarchitectural design projects. This is a hard to find complete fireplace tools set by Bradley& Hubbard Company circa 1885. The set includes a stand. Poker, tongs and a shovel. The fire tool stand measures 27" in height. It is marked on the back of the upright B& H 9705 Pat Appld For. The base is also marked 9705. The poker has an old repair. Otherwise condition of this set is very good in every respect. Cast Iron Fireplace Insert Fleur De Lis Coal Box Grate Basket or Log Holder
Here is a Antique Cast Iron fireplace insert in very good condition for its age. I just purchased this from an estate sale and the owner said its been in the house since he can remember and he was about 50 years old. The piece has numbers on it in the back 1505-18-20 the swivel grate is numbered No.2 230. I can find no other markings. The grate measures 20 inches wide. 18 inches high and 12 inches front to back. The condition is very good no damage I could find just some surface corrosion from use and age. The grate looks like it could come apart with a turn of a heavy screw driver but that looks like it could be an issue from age I don't think they will turn without major cleaning and oiling. I will be shipping this in one piece and wrap the swivel grate separately. GOOD LUCK!

Description This is a great piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. It is made of oak and is currently painted white. The shelf face has 5 applied carvings of fleur de lis. It is supported by partially flute columns with ornate capitals. It measures 60.25 wide. By 48.75 tall and is 10.25 inch thick. The firebox opening is 35.75 inches wide by 36.5 inches tall. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good scrubbing but will clean up nicely. One of the fleur de lis has a missing petal. The left leg is detached and needs to be put back on. The seam is visible on the shelf. Easy fix. Please look at the pictures carefully. Early Antique Iron Three Piece Fireplace Screen Fleur De Lis 1800s SALE
Early Antique Iron Fireplace Screen This iron piece is from an old stone house that was built in the 1800s. I thought it was an iron screen that would go in the back of the fireplace to reflect the heat outward. But the owner thought it was used to cover the fireplace opening during the night to keep the house warm and keep the fire from coming out of the fireplace opening. It is made of three pieces of heavy iron. Has an embossed fleur de lis pattern and raised trim. there are hinges or hooks that hook into the other pieces. Once hooked together, the sides of the screen can be turned so the piece stays upright. Please note that one of the hooks(on the bottom of the right side panel has broken off. In good antique condition, solid and sturdy, very nice early piece. The larger.
