Other than that it’s in good condition with a fabulous spotted darkened patina with traces of old green paint. This would be a stand out piece anywhere you use it including an entranceway or in a foyer. This is being sold in as found condition so it will need a wipe down. The approximate measurements of the back plate are 8 7/8” tall x 3 ¼” wide at its widest point and it would extend out from the wall 6” Free shipping! A CLASSIC QUILT. Indigo Blue, and from the 1880s. A real EYE DAZZLER, OVER 5000 HAND PIECED TRIANGLES! The quilt is also HAND QUILTED at 7 to 8 Stitches per inch. The size is 74" by 69" The condition is good and FRESHLY HAND LAUNDERED. The last photo shows where are two 1" very very light grey spots, maybe was in the batting and mostly shows when it is hanging with light coming thru it. The quilt has light patina on border and a couple pinhead sized spots. One small spot on back doesn't show on front. A GREAT INDIGO COLLECTORS QUILT. CLASSIC QUILT. String stars are folky and always one of my favorites. This one is from the 1880s. Difficult to execute, this one is all HAND PIECED. The size is 71" by 66" The quilt is in excellent, there are a few very very small moth nips as shown, hard too see most about 1/8" or smaller. Maybe in the fabric before the quilts was made. Great scrap bag quilt! The quilt is all HAND QUILTED, at approx. 6 stitches per inch. The fabrics are mostly finer wools on the front, with a cotton back. A GREAT INDIGO COLLECTORS QUILT.
