This turn of the century cast iron antique laundry stove was manufactured by Tip Top Laundry Southern Stove Works. Inc. of Richmond, VA. It dates back to the late 1800s to the year 1908. The laundry stove is model no. 112. The laundry stove measures 25 inches from the top of the stove to the bottom of the leg. The top measures 20 inches wide by 14 inches deep. Including the chimney and nameplate it measures 22 inches deep. The laundry stove is equipped with two removable lids, a center support, and a handle for lid removal. There is a round chimney in the center of the top of the stove. The name plate swings open to provide access to the fire box. Around the perimeter of the stove are holders to hold the irons while heating against the center body of the stove. Below the irons is a removable damper to remove ashes. Antique cast iron Gas Turtle Stove for Curling Irons and Curling Iron
Primitive probably turn of the century curling iron and gas stove heater in turtle design. It is heavy weighs about 2 lbs. It is in very good shape considering its age. There is some rust spots on it and it has soot around the mouth of the gas burner. It is dusty. The gas base measures about 10" long x 3" tall x 3" wide leg to leg. The curling iron itself has green handles. The tongs open and close easily. They too have some rust specs on the tongs. The green handles seem to have some wear on one side. But very good condition considering its age. The gas burner is signed Oster. There are no markings on the curling iron. Nice primitive collectable. Vintage Cast Iron Dollhouse Toy Lot. Teeter Totter, Pot Belly Stove, Flat Irons
This is a great group of cast iron Amish and/or colonial figure toy figures. There is a 5" colonial style cast-iron pot belly stove. There are 2 ornate flat irons and trivets. One of which is a swan or duck. There is a rug sweeper that is also cast iron but appears to be half of a salt-and-pepper shaker set. There is the teeter totter with all pieces, including the two adorable hand painted children riders. One of the flat iron trivets has the numbers 2406 on the bottom. The other flat iron trivet has Taiwan stamped on it. The teeter totter has several numbers stamped on the bottom but I can't make them out. All the pieces are in good overall condition with some slight signs of wear as shown in the photos. Please see all photos as they are part of the detailed description.
