Beautiful Antique Large Cast Iron Fire Irons Stand 18 Inches Tall Mint Condition
I know very little about Fireplace Irons. I recently bought these at an antique auction. These look light they belong in a castle. They stand just under 18 inches and are 19 inches deep. They are not marked with a company name but do have the numbers 3523 and 3520 stamped in the cast iron which you can see in the pictures. These are in perfect condition and show no signs of ever being used, no scratches, rust. blemishes of any kind The only blemish I can find is a little rust on the bottom of the feet. They have kind of a mid evil, king Arthur look to them. I have no idea what the value is so I am starting these off at what I consider to be a reasonable starting price. Pair of Vintage Andirons Tall Polished Brass Fire Place End Irons 22" Cast Iron
This is a pair of andirons or fire place end irons. They are polished brass,almost 22" tall they are 21.75" tall 15.50" from front to back and the front 2 legs are 8" from foot to foot, they do have some vintage marks,see pictures, have not tried to polish them, they are my Uncles whom has had them for 35 years and they were a gift from his mother in law from her antique store in the carolinas so who knows how old they are, would look great in any fire place, feel free to ask any questions thank you for looking

Hello! Up for Auction: Here we have an Amazing Rare Vintage Antique Metal(either cast iron or wrought iron. I'm unsure of the difference) Andirons, Very Heavy and in Great Condition! These dog irons(as they are called. I think) are a complete set, original antiques, with no breaks, cracks, or damage, screwed together at the bottom(pls see pics) Note: at some point they were painted over w/ primer and gold paint for a fake fireplace. I am unsure if they were repainted w/ high-heat paint, but I know for sure other than the paint, these Andirons are intended for a real fireplace. They may need to be stripped and refinished w/ an original high heat paint/finish. All a simple fix and touch up worth doing to bring it back to looking stunning in your real fireplace!
