This auction is for a very unique Fireplace screen. Not meant for while fire going b/c this is made of wood and cloth. I can't tell if it's a painting or a print. But it's definitely late 1800's, early 1900's. Great curled feet w/swivel base so you can position screen as you like. Acorn finials at top. I believe the back of the feet are flat so that you can place it flush against the hearth or wall. There are some scratches to canvas surface and there are sections where the canvas is pulling away from the wood mount. Has 2" tear along bottom edge as seen in pic. Back of picture shows some cloth loss and tears, but that is a light piece of cloth cover and not part of the canvas. Design depicts a beautiful woman with dark hair and large poppies in her hair. Striking antique quarter-sawn oak fireplace mantel with a beveled mirror. Dating from the early 1900s. This Art Nouveau style mantel features intricate carving and a gorgeous tiger-stripe grain in the wood. The top of the mantel features beveled levels, coming down to a panel with raised vine leaf carvings around the outer edges. This section is supported by round columns with foliate capitals that extend all the way down. The beveled mirror is surrounded by a decorative tooth trim, and below is a projecting shelf with rounded edges. The shelf is supported by pilaster capital brackets with raised scrolling foliage carved below. Each mantel leg features a second round pilaster with decorative capital. These petite size brass fan VINTAGE fireplace screens are very scarce and hard to find. This Art Nouveau fireplace screen has some amazing details. The bottom is very ornate with possibly a lions face and then the center of the screen has a 6 ½ tall winged goddess. Both sides of the screen are identical in design. The fireplaces in the older Victorian homes had much small openings so these were perfect. This one measures 16 inches tall and when the fan is opened the span measures 21 ½ inches from end to end. Up for sale is an antique decorative art nouveau brass or bronze pair of miniature fireplace andirons recently found at auction in the suburban Phialdelphia PA area. The brass or bronze front are heavily patinated and very stylish. They do not attract a magnet. The back of the andirons are made of iron and do attract a magnet. They could be cleaned or left in their present patinated state. The backings are loose but the original hardware is there so they could be tightened. They measure approx. 6 1/4" side by 8" tall and 15" long. The other condition issue is one of the tops is folded over more than the other and is a bit different. Outstanding late 19th or early 20th century high style art nouveau fireplace fender. The design displays a dramatic whiplash motif with three hearts. The overall form is fluid and rhythmic. Fender is cast bronze or copper with gilt surface. This is the finest art nouveau fender I have seen. The craftsmanship is superb. I can find no makers marks, if you have any ideas about who the designer or manufacturer is I would love to hear from you. Original Victorian Art Nouveau Fireplace Surround This is an antique fireplace surround that I recently removed from an old building in my area. This is an original Victorian piece that dates from the 1870’s to the 1890’s. The surround and grill are made of brass or bronze plated cast iron. The cover is made of tin. This surround has a total of 5 pieces: The top. Two sides, the bottom grill, and the cover. This is an awesome piece. It’s very ornate and detailed. It’s full of art nouveau design elements and has lots of swirled filigree and ornate texturing. It has a woman on the top. Cherubs on the sides, and even has little cherubs holding the tops of the columns. It’s in excellent condition with great patina. It has general wear and some very light rust in a few places. But doesn’t have any specific damages. There aren’t any chips, cracks ... moreor broken pieces on this piece. It has all of the original screws. This piece is 25 1/4 in. wide at the bottom. 25 1/8 in. wide at the top and stands 30 5/8 in. tall. It will stand about 3 in. off of the wall when installed. The opening for the fireplace measures about 20 1/4 in. wide and about 25 in. tall. This could fit an opening slightly larger than the measurements given above, but please make sure your measurements are spot on before you order! This piece will be disassembled for shipping. This is an old/antique fireplace cover or cover for summer. It's made of some type of metal. I was able to get a magnet to stick to it. It feels too light to be cast iron. I thought it might be a tin material. But if it was, the magnet wouldn't stick. Even though there's surface rust type color places, I think it would clean up nicely. It's with a place for a pipe that slides over if needed. It has the surface rust type places but seems to be solid as far as I can tell and just needs some cleaning and maybe someone might want to paint it? I am not sure if it was originally made, but each side at the top and bottom have small hole places for small screws maybe? or maybe made for attaching or securing to the fireplace? It has the raised, embossed ornate designs. It looks to be a windmill, a river with a sail boat, village, men ... moreworking? and floral deco/designs around it. 12 photos uploaded hoping you can tell more about it and the condition. Side to side, across, it measures approximately 24 3/4 inches and 30 1/2 inches top to bottom/length. This piece came out of a restaurant that closed long ago in the South Jersey area. I'm not exactly sure of its age. It needs some TLC but I don't see anything major that is wrong with it that it couldn't be restored to be a magnificent piece. The measurements are as follows: 59 1/2" tall x 60" wide x 13 3/4" deep. Antique Art Nouveau Figural Cast Iron Andirons Fire Dogs Victorian 1800's
Matching Pair of Antique Cast Iron Andirons with possibly an Art Nouveau design featuring a woman's face. Andirons are in Good Condition with some rust and nicks along back of rail where used. Both measure 13 1/2" long. 3 7/8 wide at front and 7 1/2" tall. Pair weigh approximately 25 lbs. Originally designed to simply lift logs up off the hearth. The principal centers for American andiron production were Philadelphia. New York, and Boston. Unfortunately, very few andirons bear the makers names. The front of one andiron appears to be marked with a"C" Andirons return enduring architectural and functional beauty to their original resting place- the hearth. An appraisal of this pair of andirons dated them to be from the late 1800's(1870-1890)

Antique Victorian Art Nouveau cast iron fireplace surround with grate in very good solid condition. No cracks or welds and as you can see it is very detailed. Measures 30 1/2 inches tall and 31 1/4 inches wide. Inside is 24 1/2 inches wide, 23 1/2 inches tall without grate, if you measure from top of grate it is 16 1/2 inches. It has clips on the sides to hold the fan panels. It measures 33-1/2" tall and it is 46" wide when opened. The base is about 12" wide and 4-1/2" deep. It is in excellent condition with no damage. ANTIQUE ART NOUVEAU FLAME MAHOGANY FIRESIDE COAL CABINET
This is a very nice original Art Nouveau fireside coal holder cabinet. The cabinet stands 27" high. 14 1/2" wide and 12" deep. It is made of very nice solid(not veneered) flame mahogany. The door pivots out and inside there is a metal removable container for the coal. The art nouveau symbol on the front seems to be painted on not inlaid although there is inlay around the edges of the door. A friend recently gave it a clean up and light polish for me but unfortunately it no longer suites are modern bungalow. It does naturally have some age related wear and tear marks but nothing too serious and doesn't detract from the nice overall quality Nouveau look.
